AbstractNonlinear fractional differential equations have been intensely studied using fixed point theorems on various different function spaces. Here we combine fixed point theory with complex analysis, considering spaces of analytic functions and the behaviour of complex powers. It is necessary to study carefully the initial value properties of Riemann–Liouville fractional derivatives in order to set up an appropriate initial value problem, since some such problems considered in the literature are not well-posed due to their initial conditions. The problem that emerges turns out to be dimensionally consistent in an unexpected way, and therefore suitable for applications too.

Recently, Khan and Abbas initiated the study of approximating fixed points of multivalued nonlinear mappings in modular function spaces. It is our purpose in this study to continue this recent trend in the study of fixed point theory of multivalued nonlinear mappings in modular function spaces. We prove some interesting theorems for ρ-quasi-nonexpansive mappings using the Picard-Krasnoselskii hybrid iterative process. We apply our results to solving certain initial value problem.

By using ordered fixed point theory, we set up a new class of GNOVI structures (general nonlinear ordered variational inclusions) with(γG,λ)-weak-GRD mappings, discuss an existence theorem of solution, consider a perturbed Ishikawa iterative algorithm and the convergence of iterative sequences generated by the algorithm, and show the stability of algorithm for GNOVI structures in positive Hilbert spaces. The results in the instrument are obtained.

This paper is concerned with a class of functional differential equations whose argument transforms are involutions. In contrast to the earlier works in this area, which have used only involutions with a fixed point, we also admit involutions without a fixed point. In the first case, an initial value problem for a differential equation with involution is reduced to an initial value problem for a higher order ordinary differential equation. In our case, either two initial conditions or two boundary conditions are necessary for a solution; the equation is then reduced to a boundary value problem for a higher order ODE.

<p>This investigation communicates with an initial value problem (IVP) of Hilfer-generalized proportional fractional ($ \mathcal{GPF} $) differential equations in the fuzzy framework is deliberated. By means of the Hilfer-$ \mathcal{GPF} $ operator, we employ the methodology of successive approximation under the generalized Lipschitz condition. Based on the proposed derivative, the fractional Volterra-Fredholm integrodifferential equations $ (\mathcal{FVFIE}s) $ via generalized fuzzy Hilfer-$ \mathcal{GPF} $ Hukuhara differentiability ($ \mathcal{HD} $) having fuzzy initial conditions are investigated. Moreover, the existence of the solution is proposed by employing the fixed-point formulation. The uniqueness of the solution is verified. Furthermore, we derived the equivalent form of fuzzy $ \mathcal{FVFIE}s $ which is supposed to demonstrate the convergence of this group of equations. Two appropriate examples are presented for illustrative purposes.</p>

F-contractions have inspired a branch of metric fixed point theory committed to the generalization of the classical Banach contraction principle. The study of these contractions and α-fuzzy mappings in b-metric spaces was attempted timidly and was not successful. In this article, the main objective is to obtain common α-fuzzy fixed point results for F-contractions in b-metric spaces. Some multivalued fixed point results in the literature are derived as consequences of our main results. We also provide a non-trivial example to show the validity of our results. As applications, we investigate the solution for fuzzy initial value problems in the context of a generalized Hukuhara derivative. Our results generalize, improve and complement several developments from the existing literature.

A virus that causes hepatitis E is known as (HEV) and regarded on of the reason for lever inflammation. In mathematical aspects a very low attention has been paid to HEV dynamics. Therefore, the present work explores the HEV dynamics in fractional derivative. The Caputo–Fabriizo derivative is used to study the dynamics of HEV. First, the essential properties of the model will be presented and then describe the HEV model with CF derivative. Application of fixed point theory is used to obtain the existence and uniqueness results associated to the model. By using Adams–Bashfirth numerical scheme the solution is obtained. Some numerical results and tables for arbitrary order derivative are presented.

AbstractWe prove several dispersive estimates for the linear part of the Full Dispersion Kadomtsev–Petviashvili introduced by David Lannes to overcome some shortcomings of the classical Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equations. The proof of these estimates combines the stationary phase method with sharp asymptotics on asymmetric Bessel functions, which may be of independent interest. As a consequence, we prove that the initial value problem associated to the Full Dispersion Kadomtsev–Petviashvili is locally well-posed in $$H^s(\mathbb R^2)$$ H s ( R 2 ) , for $$s>\frac{7}{4}$$ s > 7 4 , in the capillary-gravity setting.
