Matías conducted the research described in this article while a postdoc in Prof. Dr Stefan Jentsch's lab at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Munich, Germany. He is now a postdoc in the lab of Dr Sigurd Braun at the Biomedical Center Munich, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, investigating the regulation of repetitive DNA stability.
