This article analyzes the interest of Business Administration students in the area of Production and Operations. A field study involving data collection of data from 165 students of institutions of higher education in the city of Fortaleza, in the northeastern area of Brazil. Data were evaluated through techniques of regression and cluster analysis. It was found that students have an intermediate level of interest in the area, and that this interest is positively influenced by factors such as intent to pursue a career in the area. Also the perception of educational and professional impact, as well as the importance of the area for the course were studied.

This study seeks to analyze the evaluative methods adopted by teachers, carried out by students of undergraduate courses in Business Administration in an Institutions of Higher Education located in the mountains of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The methodology in this research has a descriptive character of the type survey and the instrument for data collection was a questionnaire composed of 18 (eighteen) closed questions, applied to 18 teachers of Administration courses during the year 2018, using the quantitative approach for data analysis with the help of descriptive statistics. The results allow us to conclude that there is a sign of change in the evaluation methods applied, where teachers demonstrate the use of other evaluation tools, besides the traditional test, and migrating to more modern and efficient methods.

<p>The three pillars of higher education for lecturers and students is an obligation. The law requires the existence of libraries in universities for those who want to organize higher education. The library, which is a sub-section of the college where it belongs, must participate in the success of the main organization's missions. The presence of the library must provide tangible benefits for academic people. The Kramat LP3I business administration students as the main actors in this study fully participated to realize the goals of the institution. They have a positive impression of the existence of the library. The results showed that the  students' perceptions of the use of the Kramat LP3I Polytechnic library in the three pillars of higher education activities were approaching good either at 74.9%.</p><p class="Style4"><strong>Key words:</strong> Perception, Library, LP3I Polytechnic Students. This research aims to develop the materials of reading by conducting need analysis in order to meet the needs of business administration students. The method of research was a research and development (R&D) by Borg and Gall which are modified in to three main cycles, namely: evaluation and needs assessment, materials development, and materials validation. The study found that the existing materials of reading II are not match with the needs analysis result. Thus, the researcher added 13 more basic competencies of the syllabus and materials of reading related to the learners needs and learning needs. The aim of this study was to know the effectiveness of the use of alphabet cards game as interesting tool to explain vocabularies and it make it easier to remember their meanings. This study belongs to the quasi experimental research and presents pre-test, post test and to investigate the effect of using alphabet cards game on vocabulary mastery of commercial business administration students. The participants were the students from commercial business administration students at the third semester (N=54) of State Polytechnic Bengkalis and divided into two groups. Both groups were taught vocabulary, however, the experimental group students who are exposed to alphabet cards game and the controlled group students who received conventional method. Pre-test and post-test were given to both experimental group students and controlled group students. The score of the vocabulary tests were compared through independent sample t-test. The mean value of pre-test of experimental class was 61.35, while the control class was 52.23. After learning using alphabet card games in experimental class the mean value obtained in post-test was 78.85, while in control class was 59.04.  The improved of learning outcomes can be seen from the level of significance was 0.000 and it was lower than t test 0.000<0.05.  It means that the hypothesis null is not accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the score of the students in learning vocabulary between the experimental group and control group was significantly different. The experimental group students who learned vocabulary using alphabet cards game had increased their vocabulary mastery.

This study explores the area of computer apprehension among College of Business Administration students at a Midwestern university. The fear of computer usage has been termed Cyberphobia, Computer Apprehension, Computerphobia, Computer Anxiety, Computer Vertigo and Terminal Anxiety The authors have coined the word: Compustress. A review of the literature revealed that little has been published on this subject A variety of anecdotal data are provided by a number of authors. These brief data are explored. It was noted that business students may experience terminal shock when they are appraised of the widespread use of computers in their field. Data were collected from College of Business Administration majors on level of computer apprehension, number of hours of computer usage and number of hours of computer training. Results indicate that the higher the number of hours of computer usage and training, the lower the compute apprehension.

The architect Héctor Velarde was born in Lima, Peru, on May 14, 1898. His father was a diplomat and Velarde passed his childhood and adolescence in Brazil, Switzerland, and Paris. Velarde studied in France at the École Spéciale des Travaux Publics, du bâtiment et de l’industrie graduating as an architect-engineer in 1919. In 1920 he entered the École des Beaux-Arts where he studied at the atelier of Victor Laloux, an upcoming neoclassical French architect. In 1924 Velarde returned to Lima, and from then until 1927 dedicated himself to the diplomatic service, to literature and to journalism. In 1928 he resigned from the diplomatic corps and devoted himself full-time to architecture and construction, as well as to teaching at various institutions of higher education, becoming Vice Chancellor of the University of Lima. During his career as an architect he built several projects that can still be seen in the city today. A prolific writer, he produced a variety of academic texts and humorous stories. Velarde died on December 22, 1989.
