In the present time the methods of psychotherapy for correction of prenosological states have no objective criteria in the selection of targets of influence, and in evaluating the effectiveness of applied psychotherapeutic techniques. In this regard, the purpose of this study is devoted to a psycho-physiological evaluation of effectiveness of the developed complex body-oriented psychotherapy. On the basis of the developed psychotherapeutic techniques of body-oriented effects, the authors surveyed 70 respondents of dangerous professions. The exchange control efficiency was carried out according to variational pulsometry by Baevsky R. M. and spectral analysis of heart rhythm, the complex physiological and psychological methods (i.e. «Simple visual-motor reaction», «Reaction to a moving object»). The use of the developed program complex psychological correction on the basis of body-oriented psychotherapy, consisting of successive relaxation techniques and mobilization, allows to reduce a functional stress adaptation mechanisms, an emotional stress and the severity of stress reactions in persons with psycho-physiological disorders, and also to raise the functional reserves of the organism, the functional state of the nervous system and stress (statistically significant dynamics of the indicator "Stability of reaction", "Total deviation from autologous standards) in healthy people. It is stated a vegeto-stabilizing action of the developed complex (according to the assessment of HRV).

For several years, strengthened state support caused a situation, when domestic livestock has reached the European level on many qualitative and quantitative parameters. At the same time, dairy cattle breeding remains one of the most problematic branches. Intense loads during economic use lead to a decrease in vital energy and functional and physiological reserves of the body. The problem of reducing the economic characteristics of cows with age is relevant. In this regard, many questions related to the need to preserve these functional reserves arise and the latter can be studied using non-invasive methods. One of such methods is cardiointervalometry of heart rate variability. The method allows evaluating the physiological state of the animal, which can be influenced by both exogenous and endogenous factors.

The difficulties in providing adequate psychotherapy facilities in the N.H.S. are well known, and various psychotherapeutic techniques have been used to try to cope with them. Of these the most important have been variants of group and brief psychotherapy, and it is with the latter that this paper is concerned. The technique I have used in this series is to offer patients once-weekly psychotherapy for a maximum period of 6 months and then to terminate no matter what progress has been made, the patient having been informed of these conditions from the start. In this paper I shall consider the criteria used in the selection of patients, the technique and probable mode of action, a brief account of the cases with the therapeutic results obtained, and the follow-up on these cases.

Sexual assault is underreported in the United States. Survivors are often reluctant to make police reports for various reasons; one is fear of revictimization by criminal justice professionals. Conversely, police officers often lack skills for interviewing crime victims. Posttraumatic stress reactions among victims can exacerbate the problem. Although some victims prefer female interviewers, it is not known whether they are more skilled. A sample of 429 police officers completed a written survey testing their rape myth acceptance and knowledge of how to interview rape reporters. A significant relationship between rape myth acceptance and interviewing skill was discovered. Although officer gender was related to interviewing skill, the effect was mediated by rape myth acceptance. Specific officer behaviors related to high rape myth acceptance were identified. Implications for selection of police to conduct victim interviews were discussed.

Abstract. Title of the paper: Evaluating welfare in practical farm animal husbandry – discussion of criteria selection using the example of fattening pig husbandry In the evaluation of animal welfare under practical husbandry conditions – beside a clear definition of welfare – selection of indicators plays an important role. Using the example of fattening pig husbandry, the usefulness of physiological, immunological and pathological, ethological, and technical criteria of husbandry conditions is discussed. While physiological and immunological parameters can lead to findings about stress reactions under controlled circumstances their direct transfer to practical conditions is hardly possible. On the contrary, ethological indicators as outer signs of inner states can be recorded most reliable. Beside stereotypies and aberrant behaviour as clear signs of reduced welfare, especially in barren environments, the performance of species-specific behaviour can point to a positive influence on welfare. Behavioural observations over a longer period of time considering plenty of (ethological) indicators build a solid base for selection of methods. For further interpretation of results behavioural data should be supplemented by parameters which can be recorded without major distraction of the animals: general condition of the animal including injuries and soiling, performance, technical data of the husbandry conditions as well as the increasingly important evaluation of carcasses.

Modern traumatological operations have a number of features: duration, a large pool of age-related patients with low functional reserves, forced position of the body, operations are often under regional anesthesia with a conserved consciousness, which requires special attention from the anesthesiologist. Intraoperative sedation by intravenous agents is used to prevent stress reactions associated with the effect of the patient’s presence on the operation. One of the classes is α-2 adrenergic agonists, drugs with antinociceptive, anxiolytic, sympatholytic activity, and at the same time, they have a number of side effects in the form of hypo/ hypertension, vasospasm, bradycardia. In this article the place of the modern α-2 agonist dexmedetomedine in the schemes of perioperative management of patients with skeletal injury was considered.

This search is limited to journals from 2009 to 2019. Abstract Some of the foundations of Heyes’ radical reasoning seem to be based on a fractional selection of available evidence. Using an ethological perspective, we argue against Heyes’ rapid dismissal of innate cognitive instincts. Heyes’ use of fMRI studies of literacy to claim that culture assembles pieces of mental technology seems an example of incorrect reverse inferences and overlap theories pervasive in cognitive neuroscience.

The first question to be answered, in seeking coordinate systems for geodynamics, is: what is geodynamics? The answer is, of course, that geodynamics is that part of geophysics which is concerned with movements of the Earth, as opposed to geostatics which is the physics of the stationary Earth. But as far as we know, there is no stationary Earth – epur sic monere. So geodynamics is actually coextensive with geophysics, and coordinate systems suitable for the one should be suitable for the other. At the present time, there are not many coordinate systems, if any, that can be identified with a static Earth. Certainly the only coordinate of aeronomic (atmospheric) interest is the height, and this is usually either as geodynamic height or as pressure. In oceanology, the most important coordinate is depth, and this, like heights in the atmosphere, is expressed as metric depth from mean sea level, as geodynamic depth, or as pressure. Only for the earth do we find “static” systems in use, ana even here there is real question as to whether the systems are dynamic or static. So it would seem that our answer to the question, of what kind, of coordinate systems are we seeking, must be that we are looking for the same systems as are used in geophysics, and these systems are dynamic in nature already – that is, their definition involvestime.

SummaryA routine has been developed for the processing of the 5820 plates of the survey. The plates are measured on the automatic measuring machine, GALAXY, and the measures are subsequently processed by computer, to edit and then refer them to the SAO catalogue. A start has been made on measuring the plates, but the final selection of stars to be made is still a matter for discussion.
