The article discusses current linguistic facts (the oral nature of written statements, the abundance of expression and occasionalisms, the growth of evaluative vocabulary, the activation of pronominal units), demonstrating changes that affect the value picture of the world of modern Russian society: an increase in the importance of personal, personal interests and preferences. These changes are stimulated by the continuing strengthening of the culture of consumption and increasing digitalization, also consonant with the ideals of the consumer society. The planned axiological transformations are supported by experimental results - information obtained during the survey, the purpose of which is to form an idea of the understanding by young people – future philologists of the current state of the axiosphere of modern Russian society.

The paper deals with the knowledge of Moscow students about the processes, institutions of socialization and the subjects of youth policy in Russia. The basis of the empirical base is the sociological study conducted by the authors in April–May 2019 in Moscow. It is noted that students adequately and critically assess the state of modern Russian society and the state, understand the causes of the crisis. The greatest impact on the formation of value orientations of modern Russian youth is provided by the media, family and education institutions. Moreover, the media form both positive and negative benchmarks for young people. Students are aware of the presence of various negative phenomena in the youth environment and show a critical attitude towards them. Comparative analysis with 2013–2017 studies shows that in 2019 the levels of patriotic sentiments among Moscow students and their approval of the activities of political figures, socio-political institutions decreased. The trends of prevalence in the values of young people of consumer orientations, approval of traditionally negative phenomena intensified. This contributes to the desocialization of youth, the manifestation of asocial and unlawful forms of their self-realization, the development of various countercultures, increased conflict tension and aggressiveness of young people, and the growth of extremism in the youth environment. Measures are proposed that increase the social efficiency of the state youth policy of the Russian Federation. The research materials are of interest to specialists involved in the problems of youth socialization and the implementation of state youth policy.

The article attempts to theoretically comprehend the transformation of liberal values in the process of economic and political reforms carried out in Russia after collapse of the USSR in 1991 and the collapse of the world system of socialism. Some approaches to the interpretation of the essence of the “cold war”, as well as its results and outcomes, are analyzed. The article describes the main problems faced by Russian society and the Russian government in connection with the abolition of the Communist ideology. Based on the analysis of these approaches, we propose a hypothetical model of coexistence and confrontation between “two worlds” and two types of man within the framework of the Cristian worldview paradigm, in essence, two concepts of humanism. The author reveals the specifics of Russia’s modern opposition with what took place during the cold war. An attempt is made to understand this confrontation in a more General way.

In the face of increasing cross-country competition, the strategic role of higher education and science is steadily increasing. Russia largely copies Western standards in the field of science and education, having nothing to do with the development of these standards. As a result, the Russian Federation is on the periphery of the world intellectual development. The situation is exacerbated by changes in Russian higher education. In the 21st century, the higher education of Russia is characterized by the division of universities into federal and regional, which affects funding, the level of autonomy in the conduct of educational and scientific activities and other characteristics. The “nomenclature” approach to highereducation institutions of the Russian Federation turns many regional universities into noncompetitive. Probably, the lack of conditions for equal inter-university competition dramatically reduces the interest for private business investment in both federal and regional universities. The article analyzes, in application to the Russian Federation, three models of the development of modern higher education, common in the world. It is concluded that the numerous deformations of modern Russian society are transferred to higher education. Therefore, education reforms are impossible without major changes in society and without taking into account the fact that modern Russian universities reproduce the diversity of socio-economic relations.

In the article, the author examines the peculiarities of the influence of the criminal subculture on crime among minors and youth, which in recent years in Russian society is known by the abbreviation «AUE». The causes and conditions of the spread of the criminal subculture among minors and youth are investigated. Currently, modern technologies allow using minimal time and financial resources to get the maximum effect for criminals. The author pays special attention to the issue of popularization of the criminal subculture through the Internet, which requires new approaches to the development of preventive measures against the phenomenon under consideration. For law enforcement agencies, the modern criminal subculture «AUE» is interesting, first of all, in the quality in which it can influence the criminal situation in society. The negative impact of the criminal subculture on crime among minors and young people is primarily due to the fact that it contributes to the formation of negative personality traits of a minor, which in turn becomes the basis for the formation of criminal behavior. The peculiarity of the negative influence of the criminal subculture «AUE» is that it is considered such not only from the point of view of its social assessment, but also within a specific group: relations among minors and young people.
