Across-the-world and domestic practices accumulate certain expertise in assessing various components of Corporate Social Responsibility. This is a reflection of established international viewpoint, that strategic HRM is impossible without investments in human capital. However certain gaps in research of the issue have predetermined the choice of goals and tasks for the current research. In particular, the unified model of the set of measures has not yet been developed. The paper concerns the issues of investments in human capital, presents social and economic criteria for evaluation of such investments. Ways to analyze composition of stakeholders are shown. Advantages of certain standardized international reporting procedures (АА 1000, GRI, SA 8000) are revealed. Thorough attention is given to evaluation of “pros’ and “contras” concerning investing in the human capital of a company. Potential risks for the company are outlined.

Relevance of the research topic. In the conditions of systemic restructuring of the economy of Ukraine in the direction of its adaptation to world standards, one of the integral components of the successful functioning of modern business is the development of a strategy of corporate social responsibility. Today, sustainable economic development is not determined by the factor of availability of raw materials or markets, but the opportunity for companies to join the market of highly skilled labor, scientific inventions and the latest technologies. The problems of employment, social instability, and deteriorating environment are becoming more acute and urgent in the world. All this necessitates the formation of an innovative model of development and principles of corporate social responsibility, which is becoming one of the most important areas of a market economy. Formulation of the problem. It is theoretically proven and confirmed by the practice of the world's leading companies that social responsibility can and should be considered as an important social resource of the organization, able to form concrete benefits, ensure sustainable development, adequately respond to social challenges (both internal and external), turning the latter into opportunities. It should be emphasized that social responsibility appears as an important social resource, regardless of the concept of social responsibility the company adheres to. Analysis of recent research and publications. Theoretical and methodological aspects of the formation and development of social responsibility of business are embedded in the studies of the following leading foreign scientists: A. Berle, G. Bowen, M. Velazquez, A. Carroll, F. Kotler, G. Minz, J. Rawls, K. Smith, M Friedman et al. Of particular interest in studying this problem are the works of modern domestic scientists: O. Danylenko, V. Yevtushenko, A. Kolota, N. Kyryliuk, M. Kuzhelev, V. Mamontova, O. Sheremeta and others. Selection of unexplored parts of the general problem. The issue of the effectiveness of the functioning of corporate social responsibility in Ukrainian business practice and the formation of the domestic model of CSR remains insufficiently studied in the domestic scientific environment. Problem statement, purpose of research. The key direction of the world community today is the development of human capital as the basis of the general welfare of the state. One of the conditions for the implementation of the concept of human development and human capital is the introduction and compliance with the basics of corporate social responsibility of business (CSR). The purpose of the work is a comprehensive analysis of the development of CSR in Ukraine. Research methodology. During the writing of the article the methods of analysis and synthesis, system approach, statistical analysis, generalization and structuring were used. Presentation of the main research material. The institution of socially responsible business is typical of most countries with economies based on market values, long-standing democratic traditions, and a developed civil society. In modern conditions in different countries, the participation of business in solving social problems is either strictly regulated under current commercial, tax, labor, environmental legislation or carried out independently under the influence of specially established incentives and benefits. In Ukraine, this process is in the initial stages of its development and takes place in a dominant position of the state, extremely weak development of civil society institutions and oligarchic business development. Field of application of results. The results of the study can be applied in the process of forming a strategy of corporate social responsibility of a modern enterprise. Conclusions in accordance with the article. Corporate social responsibility in the developed world has long been part of society. Today, domestic business leaders are joining the global movement for socially responsible business. In order for funds allocated for social initiatives to bring sustainable results and work on the image of the business, companies must move to building these activities on a systemic basis in accordance with the strategy. It is here that broad prospects open up for the joint efforts of companies, civil society organizations, the media and the state. The immediate business benefits of CSR are the creation of a stable business environment, reduced operational risks, increased financial performance and sales, increased productivity, reduced recruitment costs, market expansion and, consequently, increased market value in the future. The interaction of political, social and economic actors, based on the principles of social partnership, allows to ensure the stable progressive development of the state. With the increasing importance of non-financial factors of sustainable development (social stability, environmental security, etc.), the practical and theoretical aspects of social responsibility are updated.

There are currently various social innovation practices and efforts to address sustainability and its impact on the world. One of them is the use of the appreciative inquiry methodology (AIM), which results in applying a SOAR analysis focused on sustainability and discovering the strengths, opportunities, aspirations, and results of a company. Thus, the company plays a fundamental role through corporate social responsibility (CSR) that seeks to carry out concrete actions that benefit society. This chapter will define what this methodology consists of, its scope, uses, and initiatives that have adopted it as part of their practices for the measurement and promotion of sustainability. One of the main results of using this methodology is to share success stories about innovations that meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through organizations such as AIM2Flourish and B Corp.

As the global competitiveness accelerates in the world, it is a major challenge for the companies to attract talents and attain them within the company. The business needs to contribute to the well-being of the community and society they affect. High salary alone is no longer effective tool for the business, people want to work in the company whose values match their own values and that impact contribute to society and environment. For the business is crucial to know what kind of aspects influence on a particular group of stakeholder (job seekers and employees) decision to choose a place of work. The core research statement is, how CSR based factors influence on employer attractiveness and how these factors impact on the choice of employees in choosing a company for working. This study is exploratory, a quantitative approach is applied. Questionnaire examines interest of one of the stakeholders, particularly employees’ or prospective employees’ perception toward company CSR. According to the results, CSR dimensions (economic, social and environment) were measured by the respondents as highly important for an organization. However, at what extent CSR can be considered as the strongest tool for attracting new talents in the organization and keeping them for a long period is difficult to be measured. Taking into consideration other determinants on employer attractiveness, CSR alone can not attract and attain talents in the organization, but can be one strong determinant that could encourage workers to stay committed to the organization.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept is focused on understanding and managing the impacts a company has on the world around it, and doing so as a part of core business activities. CSR contains three parts: Profit (economical part), People (social aspects - employees and stakeholders) and Planet (environment). The papers deal with basic features, objectives and outputs of CSR concept in practical life of Czech enterprises. The main aim of the research was to define if organizations referring themselves as socially responsible do implement activities of all the three pillars equally and integrate them into their day-to-day activities.

The aim of the paper is theoretical presentation, along with a description of the practical example, the relationship between human capital and the expected basic salary, as well as the presentation of diversified non-wage motivation methods for employees. In today's innovative times, where the world seems to be the most technologically advanced, worker is still the most important component in the establishment of a company. A company that does not possess a creative, highly qualified and properly motivated staff cannot count on achieving competitive advantage, market success, and long-term profitability.

Corporate Social Responsibilityis a concept that a company has various forms of responsibility to all stakeholders including consumers, employees, shareholders, communities and the environment in all aspects of the company's operations that include economic, social, and environmental aspects. Therefore CSR is closely related to "sustainable development", in which a company, in carrying out its activities must base its decisions not only on the impact on economic aspects, such as the level of profits or dividends (profits), but also must consider the social and environmental impacts that arise from that decision, both for the short term and the longer term.Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG), in managing its Productive Waqf by establishing business units which mostly involve workers from the local society around PMDG. They are employed according to their skills. This is a form of implementing CSR in order to help advance and improve the welfare of the local society. The existence of these various business units is one of the educational facilities and as a form of CSR application which is actually intended to educate in the fields of independence, entrepreneurship, sincerity and sacrifice.PMDG involvement in social activities that are useful for the local society such as infrastructure development and village facilities, regeneration of students who are from around PMDG to be able to get higher education with funding from the PMDG, doing guidance to the local society through various religious activities, educational and economic activities is a form of PMDG responsibility to the local society environment and also to all stakeholders such as students, Ustadz, employees, so as to provide social and environmental impacts for the short term and the longer term.Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibilityandproductive waqf.

Human Capital (HC) reflects the knowledge capital of employees of an organization. In this era there was a huge changes in the economic field where human capital would be a factor of production that has a vital role. One way to increase human capital for companies is to increase expertise through learning experience programs. Profitability is a reflection of the financial performance of a company and a company that is well aware of the management of Human Capital, because the good and bad of Human Capital will affect the company's financial position directly and affect the company's profitability in the end. This study aims to determine whether the influence of human capital on firm value with financial performance as an intervening variable in the banking companies on the IDX registered in 2012-2016. This study uses two approaches, namely descriptive approach and explanatory approach. The technique of determining the sample of this study was purposive sampling carried out on banking companies which during 2012 to 2016 were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
