The article is devoted to the methodological problem of the use of information and communication technologies in the system of higher education. The formation of new models of educational activities with the wide use of information and communication technologies is the main component of the modernization of education. The most often used information technologies in the future professional activity of students of pedagogical universities are computer technologies of text, tabular and graphic data processing, work with multimedia data, as well as computer telecommunications. Mastering the skills of working with these technologies involves the study of office suites that allow you to perform data processing work. The use of information and communication technologies provides ample opportunities for the organization of educational and cognitive activities of students. Therefore, it is important to teach students the effective use of information and communication technologies in their professional activities. As far as much attention is paid not only to the knowledge that graduates must master, but also the formation of their professional skills, the most modern requirements for higher education meets a new type of educational tasks – professionally-oriented tasks. The article clarifies the main aspects of the introduction of professionally-oriented tasks in the educational process of pedagogical higher educational institutions. New possibilities and ways of using a package of office programs in the work of a teacher have been investigated. The professionally-oriented tasks have been applied in creating an educational and methodological complex for students in the study of Microsoft Office 2010. An example of step-by-step and sequential system of tasks for obtaining a certain outcome result taking into account the professional orientation of students has been given. New approaches to the introduction of professionally-oriented tasks in teaching the course “Modern information technologies in the educational process” have been developed. They will allow students to apply skillfully the acquired knowledge and skills to work with office suite programs in their studies, flexibly adapt to situations that arise in the professional activities of teachers, independently acquire the necessary knowledge, effectively use them to solve various problems in practice. A set of interrelated methods was used to solve the tasks included in the study: theoretical: analysis and generalization of scientific and pedagogical literature, modeling of the educational process; empirical: observation of the educational process at school during pedagogical practice and at the university. The introduction of information technology into the educational process of higher education allows teachers to qualitatively change the content, methods and organizational forms of learning.

The article characterizes the need to use modern information and communication technologies in the work of future translators. The analysis of modern software tools that contribute to the automation and simplification of translation operations, the generalization of work with individual words and fragments of foreign text. The article reveals the peculiarities of the use of translation programs and electronic dictionaries in the training of future translators in the higher education system and their role in the thorough formation of translation competence in future professionals. The research reveals a number of advantages of using electronic translation tools in the work of a translator, defined as modern electronic software helps to select the most accurate equivalents of translation and lexical equivalents. Specialized software is a translator's assistant that automates basic actions, helps to structure and systematize translation activities. The main programs-translators are described. They give the opportunity to instantly translate a sentence or a fragment of text into many languages. Online dictionaries contain a large database of words. They are multilingual. But the final translation of a foreign text depends on the translation actions and transformations of a specialist, electronic software only automates general actions.

The topicality of the study is caused to the contradiction that arises due to the separation of new types of information activities in the digital environment against the background of the uncertainty of the specialties that correspond to them and for which the training of higher education. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the correlation between the qualification requirements for representatives of modern “digital” professions in the field of information and communication activities, namely, managers of web content and web community and the profile of educational standards for training on specialty 029 “Information, library and archival affairs “. The scientific novelty of the study is to substantiate the compliance of professional tasks of specialists in web content management and web community to the competence parameters of educational standards of specialty 029 “Information, library and archival affairs”, the feasibility of developing educational programs for modern “digital” professions in within the specialty 029 “Information, library and archival affairs”. Conclusions. Digitization of all spheres of public life leads to the emergence and formalization of new types of professional activities, including professions of web content managers and web community, for which the labor market-defined design of competencies can be provided through the training on the specialty 029 “Information, library and archival case”. The requirements for such specialists have information and communication, information and management, and social and communicative content and do not need special professional education in the field of computer science. The normative content of education and competence, approved by the standards of higher education in the specialty 029 “Information, Library and Archival Affairs” (bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees), indicates their compliance with defined in the draft of the professional standard “Information Resource Specialist” objects of activity, labor functions and labor actions of representatives of modern “digital” professions – web content manager and web community manager.
