Thousands of languages are currently in danger of extinction without having been adequately documented by linguists. This fact represents a tragedy for communities in which endangered languages are spoken, for linguistics as a discipline and for all of humanity. One major role of the field of linguistics is to describe languages accurately and thoroughly for the benefit of all concerned. This paper presents the results of an informal survey of major users of grammatical descriptions and gives lists of dos and don’ts for those contemplating a descriptive study of one of the many endangered languages of the world. Concrete suggestions are provided that will help grammar writers produce user-friendly, thorough and useful grammatical descriptions.

This research describes the role of Muhammadiyah organizations in fostering Islamic communities in Enrekang Regency. The problems examined in this paper are focused on the development of Muhammadiyah in Enrekang Regency and the role of Muhammadiyah organizations through the charity of its efforts in fostering the Islamic community in Enrekang Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using historical, sociological, cultural, religious and educational approaches. The instruments used in this study were researchers doing with aids in the form of interview guidelines, cameras and voice recorders. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive data analysis. The results showed that Muhammadiyah association quickly developed branches and branches to all corners of the village, several educational business charities established ranging from paud/kindergarten level to higher education, and the growing number of Muhammadiyah members and sympathizers. The construction of the Muhammadiyah Alliance through branches and branches and charitable efforts in fostering Islamic society slowly shifted the religious attitude of the community coloured by the traditions of Hinduism, animism and dynamism (shirk) to the Tauhid faith.

Objetivo: identificar como o enfermeiro percebe a segurança do paciente na instituição de saúde em que atua. Metodologia: estudo descritivo, de corte transversal, realizado entre janeiro e fevereiro de 2016, em Dourados/MS, com 52,58% da população de 310 enfermeiros hospitalares. Aplicou-se questionário sociodemográfico com questões vinculadas à segurança do paciente, cujos dados foram submetidos à análise descritiva. Resultados: parte dos enfermeiros apontou menor segurança quanto aos procedimentos, cuidados e administração de medicamentos. Conclusão: compete à equipe multiprofissional atuar na promoção da segurança do paciente, sendo o enfermeiro o profissional apto a identificar e comunicar riscos iminentes, prevenindo a ocorrência de danos e promovendo saúde na sua integralidade, devido à assistência de enfermagem ocorrer ao longo das 24 horas do dia.Descritores: Segurança do paciente, Gerenciamento de risco, Papel do enfermeiro, Raciocínio clínico.PATIENT SAFETY IN THE PERPECTIVE OF NURSES: A MULTI PROFESSIONAL ISSUEObjective: to highlight how the institutional safety is in the perspective of nurses. Methodology: a cross-sectional descriptive study conducted between January and February 2016, in Dourados City, State of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, with 52.58% of 310 hospital nurses. A sociodemographic questionnaire with questions about “patient safety” was used. A descriptive and statistical analysis was performed. Results: some of the nurses indicated less safety regarding procedures, care and administration of medication. Conclusion: It is the role of multi professional team to promote patient safety. This study aims at exploring the role of human languages in establishing solid grounds for the continuity of human creativity and intelligence. Although it is not easy to define what a language is, no one denies that language is the most essential human device that helps people to communicate and get on well with each other. This capability of communication granted language its essential role in enhancing human beings survival and transmission of human knowledge, culture and the whole material advancement and heritage. For this end the study will be a qualitative historical survey of the role of human languages in extending human bonds and relationships for the sake of survival, safety and solidarity in a wild context at the first stages of human beings presence on earth, and later in a world of advanced technology where the whole world has come to be united as if it is a small village. The study will explore some verses of the Holly Qur’an that support human creation and ability to communicate. The theoretical frame work and the related literature will be outlined and explored to support the assumption and hypotheses of this study. The importance of the study will also be stated. The study will be processed through the methodology, the procedures and the discussion that will be followed for obtaining its findings. The study will be finalized by the main obtained results and recommendations for further future studies and a summary for the whole study. ABSTRAKPemilihan umum presiden dan wakil presiden merupakan acara lima tahun sekali yang dilaksanakan di Indonesia, kegiatan ini sebagai wahana menyalurkan segala aspirasi masyarakat terutama dalam mempengaruhi keputusan politik, dan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan partisipasi masyarakat Kota Malang dalam pemilihan presiden dan wakil presiden tahun 2014 di Kota Malang, selain itu untuk mengetahui peran KPU Kota Malang dalam pemilihan umum presiden dan wakil presiden 2014, dan untuk menjelaskan faktor pendukung dan penghambat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilihan presiden dan wakil presiden 2014.Penelitian ini menggunakan Model penelitian deskriptif, yaitu suatu model penelitian dengan mencatat, mendeskripsikan dan menginterpratasikan peran KPU dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat dalam pemilihan umum prseiden dan wakil presiden 2014 di Kota Malang, dan penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil bahwa peran KPU dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik masyarakat dalam pemilihn umum presiden dan wakil presiden 2014 di Kota Malang sangat besar. Artinya ini sesuai dengan realita dan fakta yang terjadi di lapangan, bahwa tahun 2014 partisipasi masyarakat Kota Malang sangat meningkat. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil wawancara dan observasi kepada pememrintahan Kota Malang, Partai Politik dan Masyarakat Kota Malang, selain itu hal yang paling mendukung adalah hasil perthitungan suara di Kota Malang, menunjukan sebanyak 70% masyarakat Kota Malang ikut berpartisipasi dalam pemilihan umum presiden dan wakil presiden 2014 di Kota Malang.Kata Kunci : Peran KPU, Partisipasi Masyarakat.ABSTRACTGeneral election for president and vice president is an event held every five years in Indonesia. This is a program which is used for channeling the aspirations of all communities, especially in influencing political decisions. This study aims to determine the role and participation of Malang communities in the presidential and vice presidential elections 2014. Besides, this study also aims to determine the role of General Elections Commission (KPU) of Malang in general election of president and vice president in 2014, and to explain the enabling and inhibiting factors of communities’ participation in the election of president and vice president in 2014. The approach used in this study is descriptive study, which is a study model by noting, describing and interpreting the role of KPU in increasing the communities’ political participation in the elections of president and vice president 2014 in Malang. This study uses three methods in collecting the data. They are interview, documentation, and observation. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the General Elections Commission has a big role in increasing communities’ political participation in the elections of president and vice president 2014 in Malang. This means that it corresponds to the reality and the facts which occurred, that in 2014 the participation of Malang communities greatly increased. This is supported by the results of the interviews and observations to the government of Malang, Political Parties in Malang and also Malang communities. Besides, the most favorable case is the result of vote counting in Malang which shows as much as 70% of people in Malang participated in the elections for president and vice president 2014 in Malang.Key words: Role of the General Elections Commissions, Communities Participations

Endoscopic ultrasonography is the method of choice for detection of morphologic changes related to chronic pancreatitis. There are criteria, in the literature, that evaluate morphologic changes by endoscopic ultrasonography suggestive of chronic pancreatitis. The most widely used are the Rosemont criteria. Currently, the most effective diagnostic methods for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency are fat quantification (disused) and the 13C-mixed triglyceride breath test, not available in our country. However, the probability of diagnosis of pancreatic insufficiency can be estimated over the base of symptoms, malnutrition parameters, faecal elastase and signs of chronic pancreatitis in images. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation, probability and severity of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, according to Rosemont criteria, in patients with chronic pancreatitis. A retrospective descriptive study was performed. Data were collected from patients between April of 2017 and April of 2018. The data gathered was based on pancreatic morphologic characteristics according to Rosemont criteria and related to the diagnosis of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency diagnosis based on the levels of stool elastase. Twenty one patients with chronic pancreatitis were included. The presence of hyperechogenic foci > 2 mm with posterior acoustic shadowing was associated with the presence of severe exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (p < 0.001). In our study, the association between parenchymal morphologic findings of chronic pancreatitis was significant in predicting exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The role of endoscopic ultrasonography in predicting functional compromise in patients with chronic pancreatitis is promising.
