Researchers have contributed significantly to the development of the subject of urban green and open spaces (UGOS) in both practical and fundamental aspects. As the number of citations indicates a paper and author’s competency, the online web of science (ISI) was browsed to identify the 100 most cited papers in the field of UGOS from 1980 to 2013. Papers were analyzed for authorship, journal sources, publishers, institutions, countries, year of publication, categories, and author keywords. The total number of citations was compared to the average number of citations per year. From 1105 UGOS papers returned, the maximum number of citations was 212. The top 100 most cited were published from 1988 to 2011, with the majority in 2007. A remarkable distinction was found in the comparison of total citations and average citations per year. As total linear trend indicates a significant growth in influential articles, urban green and open spaces are a developing subject in landscape and urban planning. This study gives an insight into the readership of UGOS by highlighting key papers.

This study evaluated the development of research publications towards the disclosure of information in companies’ annual reports. The aim of this study is to provide a preliminary source of references for related scholars interested in research mapping in this field. By using several bibliometric indicators, all research publications related to the disclosure of information in the companies’ annual reports in the online Web of Science (ISI Thomson Reuters) database were analysed. The authorship, number of citations, journal sources, publishers, institutions, and countries, year of publication, categories, and author keywords were examined. The results of these analyses were underlined and discussed.

Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between language and total number of citations found among documents in journals written in English and other languages. We selected all the journals clustered together in the Journal Citation Reports 2014 under the subject category “Veterinary Sciences” and downloaded all the data registered between 1994-2013 by Web of Science for the journals that stated publishing documents in languages other than English. We classified each of these journals by quartile and extracted information regarding their impact factor, language(s) stated, country of origin, total number of documents published, total number of reviews published, percentage of documents published in English and the quartile in which each journal ranked. Of the 48,118 documents published by the 28 journals analyzed, 55.8% were published in English. Interestingly, although most of the journals state being multi-language, most documents published in quartile 1 journals were in English (an average of 99.2%), while the percentage was 93.1% in quartile 2 journals, 62.1% in quartile 3 journals and 27.4% in quartile 4 journals. We also confirmed that citation distribution in these journals was highly skewed. The results of this study suggest that journals should consider adopting English as the main language as this will increase citation counts and the impact factor of the journal.

Aim: Despite the increase in international research in art therapy, few studies have been developed with a bibliometric approach which describe the situation regarding this area of knowledge. Thus, the aim of this study is to describe and contextualize international scientific production in the visual arts modality in the context of artistic therapies, to offer a broader and more in-depth vision of the structure of this area of knowledge through of a bibliometric analysis of the publications indexed in the core collection of the Web of Science.Methods: This is a retrospective, exploratory and descriptive, cross-sectional study to analyze the bibliographic data retrieved from the databases of the core collection. The analysis parameters included the data corresponding to the production according to type of document, country, journal, and institution. In addition, the main lines of research were located and classified and the subject matter of the most cited articles in each of them was summarized. Four periods were selected, between 1994 and 2020, to facilitate the thematic analysis and offer an evolutionary perspective of art therapy research.Results: A total of 563 works were published, in 250 journals, in the 63 years between 1958, when the first document was published, and April 2021. The annual growth rate was 7.3% with a mean average of 8.7 publications per year, and 83.13% of the published works were articles. A total of 1,269 authors from 56 countries were counted. The mean number of citations per document was 5.6 and the mean number of citations per document and year was 0.6. The main research domains were psychology and/or rehabilitation and the highest production on this topic was concentrated in only three journals. In general, a high degree of variability was observed in the study topics and numerous theoretical and methodological articles. The most used visual arts modalities were in the main drawing, painting and photography.Conclusion: This work did not find previous existence of any bibliometric analysis on the international scientific production in art therapy. In general terms, there has been a substantial growth in the number of publications on the subject over the last decade. However, this research area does not appear to have peaked, but, on the contrary, is still growing and progressing despite its long history in clinical practice.

Augmented reality applications in STEM education have increasing importance in recent years and it draws attention that scientific studies on this subject have gained momentum in the literature. The purpose of this research is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of studies on the use of augmented reality applications in STEM education in the literature. The Web of Science database has been used to collect the data. A total of 741 studies were accessed by going through various screening processes for the research. Content analysis and bibliometric analysis have been used in the analysis of the data. In the research, the distribution of publications by years and countries and the most published authors, journals, and countries were accessed. As a result of the research, in terms of the institutions with which the authors work, "National Taiwan University of Science Technology" ranked near the top for the number of citations and "National Taiwan Normal University" ranked near the top for the number of publications as the most productive institutions. It has been detected that "Wu, H. –K." and "Chang, H. –Y" are the most effective and productive researchers. According to the analysis conducted in the context of journals, "Computers Education" and "Interactive Learning Environments" have been the journals that contributed the most to this subject. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the co-authorship network structure is predominant in England and Spain. Concepts that become apparent in clusters in co-occurrences analysis are "augmented reality", "virtual reality", "mobile learning", "science education" and "mixed reality".

The aim of this article is to examine the bibliometric analysis of global publication output on coronavirus, as covered in Web of Science during the period from 2000 to 2019. A total of 10,861 documents were found during a 20-year period spanning from 2000 to 2019 published in the ISI Web of Science. The study analyses annual productivity, most productive source titles, prolific countries, eminent institutions, linguistic analysis and productivity of authors and their contribution in the subject area. The findings reveal that the most productive year of publication was 2004 that included 782 publications with the majority published in the Journal of Virology. The result further indicates that the USA, China and Germany are the most productive countries in the field of Coronavirus research output. In terms of institutional output, University of Hong Kong emerged as the most productive institution; Yuen KY from Hong Kong is the most prolific author. In the subject category type, the most prominent subject field is Virology, Infectious Disease and Veterinary Science. The findings of the study are limited to the data harvested from ‘Web of Science’. This study is of immense relevance to researchers and academicians who are searching for answers to this pandemic. This will provide insights to academicians to collaborate with other researchers based on the quality of the research produced by other countries and institutes. The study is useful for researchers, immunologists and epidemiologists who are interested in the field of Coronavirus and serves as a base for future research.

A blockchain is a revolutionary system that connects computer networks in a decentralized and distributed manner. Blockchain allows the process of current transactions to be peer-to-peer (P2P) without relying on a single server. Once entered, information can never be erased. The blockchain contains a certain and verifiable record of every single transaction ever made. This study evaluated the development of research publications in the implementation process and future trend of Blockchain Technology. The aim of this study is to assist researchers in creating a theoretical framework and to provide a preliminary source of references in research mapping in this field. All research publications related to the implementation and future trend of Blockchain Technology in the Scopus database were analyzed using several bibliometric indicators. The authorship, number of citations, journal sources, publishers, institutions, and countries, year of publication, categories, and author keywords were examined.

The objective of the study is to characterize the world scientific production on academic writing between the years 2011 to July 2021. A bibliometric study was carried out in five databases (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic and Crossref). Bibliometric indicators were analyzed in 4117 articles through Publish or Perish v. 7.19 and the same analytical software of the chosen databases. The results indicate that the article entitled “Codemeshing in academic writing: Identifying teachable strategies of translanguaging” is the document with the highest number of citations; Montserrat Castelló Badía, the most cited author; Journal Of English For Academic Purposes stands out as the medium with the largest number of publications on the subject; and among the countries that concentrate the largest production on creative writing, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Australia and Spain stand out. It is concluded that the rate of publications will increase in the following months, which means continuing to periodically carry out measurements on scientific production to determine the evolution and contributions of the scientific material produced.

Bibliometric analysis is a popular method for exploring and analyzing large amounts of scientific data. This article is a bibliometric analysis using Scopus indexed journals on program coordination using VOSviewer application. The purpose of bibliometric analysis in this research is to identify the development of studies related to program coordination. Specifically, this article discusses citation developments, publications trends, authors’ collaboration, trending term titles, trend term author keywords, trend term abstracts, and country statistics with the topic of program coordination 1943-2021. The data was collected from Scopus database using keyword “coordination program.” Furthermore, the author uses VOSviewer software to analyze and visualize the database obtained. The results showed that the results of the citation analysis showed the number of citations per year from 1943-2021 was 4.304 citations. Irvine, M.K is a researcher who has the largest productivity, which is ten publications. In the analysis of the trend term author keywords, it can be seen that there are 676 author keys used in selected articles using a minimum of five events, resulting nine author keywords that have a strong connection. The term “care coordination” is the term most frequently used by the author with 23 entries. Moreover, the country that published the most program coordination articles was the United States with 246 articles.

In recent years, an increasing number of studies with a focus on competitiveness and economic sectors have been developed. One of them is tourism competitiveness, also known as tourism destination competitiveness and destination competitiveness. Despite the increasing interest and number of studies in this regard, little can be found about tourism competitiveness using bibliometric methods and techniques. The aim of this paper is to use bibliometric tools to examine the evolution of scientific production on the subject of tourism competitiveness. The information in this paper comes from the Web of Science scientific database. The findings demonstrate how far the research has progressed and how influential it has been in the scientific community. In the years 1991 to 2018, a total of 1,325 papers were recovered. Years, citations, writers, universities, countries, journals, and research areas are conveniently organized and presented form the systematically gathered area. Objectives: COVID-19 has had a substantial impact on rheumatology. This study provides a general overview of studies on rheumatology and COVID-19. Methods: Data were taken from the Web of Science (WoS) website. Analysis and network visualization mapping processes were carried out using VOSviewer. A total of 234 publications were analyzed, and the correlations between citation numbers and reference counts, usage counts and page numbers were analyzed with Spearman correlation coefficients. Results: The average number of citations per item was 6.03. The studies were cited 1,411 times in total, and 1,121 times without self-citations. The countries with the highest number of publications on rheumatology and COVID-19 were the USA and England; the countries with the highest number of citations were Italy and the USA, and Jinoos Yazdany was the most cited author. The Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases was the most cited journal, whereas the highest number of articles on rheumatology and COVID-19 were published in Arthritis and Rheumatology. Conclusions: Bibliometric analysis of rheumatology and COVID-19 can be useful to future studies because it provides a general perspective on the studies. This study provides an insight into the development of publications on rheumatology during the COVID-19 pandemic.
