There are literally thousands of the global warming and pollution issues affecting the living resources, habitats and residents of an ecosystem. The question is, do the issues affects consumers' environmental attitude? Although environmental awareness is gaining more ground among consumers, it is still not clear how this influence their cognitive thinking and consequently their action. The findings on this issue are still equivocal. There are also arguments that most consumers expect others to solve environmental issues which seems to be more of future concerns while they seek immediate gratification or short term personal satisfaction. To date, marketers are still struggling to convince consumers towards eco-products. Furthermore, green halo effect and greenwashing continues distorting buyers and caused them to be more skeptical. This chapter intends to consolidate the literature on green trust factors and environmental quality awareness and assess how these could stimulate environmental attitude.

This study examined the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and online teaching self-efficacy among 115 academic nurse educators who teach online (totally, blended, or both). The sample was randomly drawn from the list of nursing schools accredited by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) with baccalaureate, master’s and/or doctoral programs. The hypothesis tested states “Academic nurse educators who teach online and who report higher levels of EI would also report greater online teaching self-efficacy.” Results showed a significant moderate relationship (r=0.446, p< .01) between EI and online teaching self-efficacy. The coefficient of determination R2 was 0.199, which indicates that about 20% of the variation in online teaching self-efficacy can be explained by EI contribution. The hypothesis was supported. Results also indicated that online teaching self-efficacy was positively related to duration of being an academic nurse educator (r = 0.212, p<0.05) and duration of teaching online (r = 0.203, p< 0.05). Further, there was no significant difference between the different age groups regarding EI and online teaching self-efficacy. Similarly, there was no significant difference among university degrees attained of participants regarding EI and online teaching self-efficacy. The Implications for enhancing EI and online teaching self-efficacy are discussed.

Over the last few decades, environmental issues such as global warming, acid rain, air pollution, urban sprawl, waste disposal, ozone layer depletion, water pollution and climate change have facing concern among prominent world organisational annual meeting and occasions. Almost media covers the environmental and sustainability issues in their daily publications. Malaysia as a developing country starving to survive with annual climate change issues such as flash floods, haze, water and air pollution and increasing seasonal sicknesses. In conjunction, government, policymakers, learning institutions, and Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) play their role in educating people to attain sustainability lifestyle. Specifically, institution leaders as a change agent encourage adapting environmental behaviour to enhancing environmental attitude and behaviour among their stakeholders. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to test the reliability of environmental responsive behaviour, specifically among school leaders in Malaysia. For this study, 503 samples were used to test reliability. The findings indicated that all examined variables consistently reflect the construct it is measuring. Hence, adapted measurement items are reliable to use in future studies.

The success of a choir depends on the integrity, concentration and team logic to be formed within the group under the leadership of the choir conductor. Some dimensions of team perception are considered to be important for choral success such as knowing the aims of the choir, being aware of each other's talent levels, sharing the feeling of success and failure, having trust and responsibility for the group members and the conductor, being willing to work, feeling happy and proud for being a member of the choir. In this study, it is aimed to determine the level of team perception of choir members. In addition, it has been tried to determine whether the team perceptions of choir members have made a difference according to the variables of gender, age, type of graduated school and choir experience. The research group consisted of 246 choir members who are members of Marmara University Polyphonic Choir, MEF University Choir, TRT Istanbul Youth Choir, Kocaeli University Fine Arts Faculty Music Department Choir, Croatia Mato Bucar Choir and Bosnia and Herzegovina Bugojno Choir. The data of the study were collected with Chorus Team Perception Scale and personal information form, consisting of 34 items and 5 sub-dimensions. As a result of the research, it was found that the choir members generally had a high level of team perception. The average score of the choir members in sub-dimensions of the team spirit, chorus and conductor relationship, negative emotions, responsibility and effort, emotional support and collaboration, revealed a high level of team perception. According to the gender variable, a high level of difference was found in favour of female choir members among the total scores of the team members of the choir. It was found that choir members aged 22 years and older had higher choir team perception than choir members in the 14-17 and 18-21 age groups. There was no significant difference between the total score of the team perception and the sub-dimension scores of the choir members according to the type of school they graduated and the choir experience variables.

Aim. Comparative characteristics of the level of alimentary admission of lycopene and analysis of the frequency of inclusion of the main sources of lycopene in the diet of students of different age and sex. Materials and methods. To study the frequency of inclusion in the diet of food sources of lycopene and its quantitative assessment, specially designed questionnaires were used, in which products with a significant content of lycopene were included. Results. Comparative analysis of the levels of lycopene did not reveal significant differences between the percentages of men and women (φemp< φcr at P<0.05) in the groups with high level of intake. In all gender groups, the leading sources of lycopene are fresh tomatoes, ketchup and tomato-containing fast food products (pizza, lasagna, pasta and sandwiches). Evaluation of the results of the frequency method shows that more often than other sources in the weekly diet of students, regardless of gender, there are fresh tomatoes, ketchup and sandwiches. Analysis of the levels of lycopene intake in 1st and 5th year students did not reveal significant differences in all groups of consumption (φemp< φcr at P<0.05), except for the group with the intake of lycopene in the amount of 50.0-74.9% of the recommended, which is dominated by 5th year students. Sources of lycopene in students of different age groups do not differ - the main contribution to the recommended level is made by fresh tomatoes, ketchup and tomato-containing fast food products. Conclusions. In 39.8% of students, due to the presence in the diet of fresh tomatoes, ketchup and tomato-containing fast food products, the recommended daily intake of lycopene was achieved. At the same time, 29.6% of the respondents did not have registered sources of lycopene in their diet; and 16.7% of the respondents included them in the diet in an insufficient amount, thereby ensuring the intake of lycopene in the amount of less than half of the recommended level. Most often, the weekly diet included fresh tomatoes, ketchup and tomato sandwiches. Watermelon, pink and red grapefruit, persimmon in the diets of the most of participants were absent.

In recent years, studies on campus sustainability have been conducted to measure the impact that universities have on the environment and several mechanisms to measure and rank universities globally on how they perform in sustainability have been proposed. The UI Greenmetrics ranks universities based on sustainable performance ratings and focused more on the initiatives and opportunities provided to achieve sustainability but did not address the issue of environmental literacy among the university students. This study aims to understand how sustainable practices and policies adopted by Green Universities as well as demographic factors relate to the level of environmental attitude and responsible environmental behaviour of Malaysian student leaders. A census survey was carried out on student leaders of Malaysian public universities to assess their level of perception, attitude, personal responsible environmental behaviour (REB) and REB with regards to UI Greenmetrics Criteria. The Mann-Whitney U test conducted revealed that there was no significant difference in the level of the assessed components across all demographic factors between green and nongreen universities. Spearman rank order correlation showed that there was a significant positive correlation between perception and personal REB (rs(322) = .385, p < .05) as well student council REB (rs(322) = .542, p < .05). Attitude was found to have a significant negative correlation with student council REB (rs(322) = -.114, p < .05) while a high level of personal REB was significantly correlated with student council behaviour (rs(322) = .579, p < .05).

Learning programming challenges students who encounter difficulties such as resolving syntax and format errors. These challenges require students to invoke resilience to overcome programming problems and keep trying. In response, this study developed the programming resilience scale for university students (PRSUS). The snowball-sampling method was used to collect the data of science and engineering undergraduates, and the participants were divided into two groups (n1 = 316, n2 = 358) for an exploratory and a confirmatory factor analysis, respectively. For the PRSUS, 3 items were retained for each of 4 dimensions, namely: persistence, perceived value, difficulty cognition, and incremental belief. The reliability and validity indexes indicate the scale is reliable for measuring programming resilience. Moreover, the results showed that most undergraduates had a high level of programming resilience, and they could judge their level correctly in comparison to their peers. The study also found that, although no significant difference was found among the grade or age groups, the programming resilience of the male students was significantly better than that of the female students. The PRSUS is expected to help researchers and teachers to identify students who have difficulties learning programming and to provide early interventions to students. Implications for practice or policy: Students can use the PRSUS to test if they have a high level of programming resilience and improve their programming resilience in a targeted way. Educators can use the PRSUS to identify students who find it difficult to finish programming learning or to judge whether their teaching can make students more willing to overcome programming difficulties.
