Formulated several important conclusions of the basic theorems and the main principles of the reduction transformations’ technique. In comparison with automatic parallelizing, the proposed principles provide a considerable decrease in the number of steps required for the applications’ adaptation to architectures of reconfigurable computer systems. At the first stage, the reduction coefficient is factorized, and the rational values of different types of reduction coefficients (by the number of basic subgraphs, by the number of computational operations and by the digit capacity of data) are chosen from the multipliers. At the second stage, the reduction of basic subgraphs’ number is performed according to the coefficient chosen at the previous stage. At the third stage, the number of computational operations and the digit capacity of processed data are reduced to the limit values. The application of the reduction transformations’ technique allows for the integration of multiple variants of parallel program in one group and for the shortening of time needed for its adaptation to the architecture and configuration of a computer system. According to the estimations, the number of reduction transformation steps needed for the calculations’ scaling in reconfigurable computer systems is 26 steps and considerably less than the one for automatic parallelizing compilers.

The author identifies six main stages and outlines the peculiarities of legal regulation of the sale of land plots and rights to them on a competitive basis at each stage. The first stage was from 18 December 1990 to 28 June 1996; the second stage took place from 28 June 1996 to 1 January 2008, covering the period of adoption of the effective Land Code of Ukraine dated 25 October 2001; the third stage lasted from 28 December 2007 to 5 July 2012; the fourth stage was the stage of the development of competitive acquisition of rights to land plots covering the time period from 5 July 2012 to 21 June 2017; the fifth stage covered the experimental period from 21 June 2017 to 1 October 2019; the sixth stage has been going on since 1 October 2019. This periodization enables, firstly, to create a systematic view of the development of legal regulation of the competitive principles of acquiring rights to land plots under the land legislation of Ukraine; and secondly, to assess the legal risks of acquiring rights to land plots having been acquired in a period of time corresponding to the stage of legal regulation. The conducted analysis of the genesis of legal regulation of the sale of land plots and rights to them on a competitive basis indicates that in the circumstances of lack of legal framework for land auctions, the process of disposal of land plots and rights to them on a competitive basis have not been stopped. Each of the identified stages of legal regulation, except for the fourth one and the last one, has some contradictions in the source base bearing some legal risks for the contracts of sale of land plots on a competitive basis concluded at these stages. Like the Presidential Decrees at the first stage and the Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at the fifth stage, the decisions of local councils at the second and third stages were a means of and an attempt to accelerate the necessary changes in the land legislation. On the one hand, these regulatory acts are contrary to the provisions of the Land Code of Ukraine, and on the other hand, they are administrative acts that have been in force for a certain period of time and have not been repealed or deemed to be unconstitutional. Therefore, in making the legal evaluation of the agreements concluded on a competitive basis, they should be assessed taking into account the abovementioned factors.

Abstract This study aims to compare and calibrate seven different types of Valiantzas (Valiz) ET0 equations against FAO Penman–Monteith (P-M) equation at three sites under the humid climatic condition of northeast India. In the first stage, the different Valiantzas equations were ranked based on their original coefficient (OC) at each site. In the second stage, Valiz equations were assessed based on local calibrated coefficient (LCC). In the third stage, the selected Valiz equations were assessed based on global calibrated coefficient (GCC) considering pooled data for all the selected stations. The ranking of equations was done using a summative form of global positioning index (GPI). Different Valiantzas equations showed different performances relative to the sites having similar climate class (warm and temperate). With the OC, the Valiz 7 is ranked one at Dibrugarh and Shillong, and Valiz 2 for Aizawl. After local calibration, again, Valiz 7 is best at Dibrugarh and Shillong while Valiz 6 is best at Aizawl. With global calibration coefficient, Valiz 7 ranked best at all three selected stations. The suitable equations identified for the region are Valiz 7, Valiz 6 if full data are available, and Valiz 2 under limiting data conditions.

Hypospadias present with a wide array of meatal position and curvature. Choosing an operative technique for the different types of hypospadias has been challenging and controversial among the plastic, urologic, and pediatric surgeons. Regardless of the selected techniques, primary hypospadias repair still frequently results in complications requiring further surgery, such as fistula, residual chordee, and stricture. Owing to its practicality, the single stage urethroplasties are more-popular and widely used at present. However, our experience found higher rates of postoperative complications with the one-stage procedure compared to the two-stage for repair of non-glanular hypospadia. This article details the operative techniques of the two-stage Sidik-Chaula urethroplasty, a technique that we have implemented in our institution over two decades. It is applicable for the primary repair of any distal, middle, and proximal hypospadias. We also introduce the Manset Flap, a simple modification to the first stage of urethroplasty, which ease neourethra creation in the second stage. However, due to prior insufficient medical recordkeeping, we are yet unable to produce a quantified rate of success and complications by utilizing this technique. A study is currently being done to produce the numbers.

In this article, we consider the stages of development of a novel application toolkit for reconfigurable computer systems, its architecture and operation principles. The toolkit provides the translation of procedural programs in C to configuration files for field-programmable gate arrays in 6 stages. The conversion of procedural program in C to parallel program in COLAMO (Common Oriental Language for Architecture of Multi Objects) is performed using four additional programs: the “Angel ” translator and three preprocessors called the “Mermaid ”, the “Procrustes” and the “Nutcracker ”. At the first stage, the “Angel ” translates the C program into the absolutely parallel program in the COLAMO language. During the second stage, the information dependences of the initial C program are analyzed, scalar variables are split, and arrays are stretched by iterations. Then, at the third stage, the COLAMO code is converted to the parallel and pipeline form using the partition of arrays and loops into the vector and strea components. The fourth stage involves the transformation of the COLAMO program to the scalable parallel and pipeline form. The optional fifth stage, which is aimed at the reduction of the base subgraph, is executed only in the case of the lack of hardware resource for the structural implementation of the base subgraph of a problem. At the sixth stage, the COLAMO program is transformed to the unique computational structure and several cadrs designed for the architecture of the chosen reconfigurable computer system. The distinctive feature of the developed toolkit is the support of the resource-independent computing, which allows for the scaling of calculations in both cases of increase (induction) and decrease (reduction) in available hardware resources.

This article aims at elaborating on the commonly held judgment that the Apocryphal Acts of the Apostles have somehow been influenced by the Hellenistic novels. It is argued that the one evolved from the other. Three stages can be traced. A first stage consists of Christian allegorizing of the novels based on the many striking crucifixion and empty tomb passages, followed by a second stage of writing Christian allegories based on the Old Testament heritage of Christianity. Joseph and Asenath being the sole surviving example. Finally, the third stage is the explicit composing of Christian versions of the picaresque romantic adventure novels, namely the Apocryphal Acts.

The article represents a methodological algorithm for interpreting intertextuality in the English Orthodox sermon, which contains the following five successive stages. The first stage identifies the scientific and methodological backgrounds of the study of intertextuality, including in interdisciplinary coverage, as well as it traces the evolution of scientific views on notions of “intertextuality”; the diversity of approaches to the typology of intertextual relations have been revealed and the problem of intertextuality functions in modern texts has been outlined. The intertextual fragments have been singled out at the second stage. The types and subtypes of intertextual connections, their systematization and classification, different level means of actualization and marking of intertext in the English sermon, as well as the definition of features of semantic transformation and functional purpose of different types of intertext in the recipient text have been revealed at the third stage. The sources of intertextuality identified and systematized in the previous stages of the study have been divided into nuclear, near-peripheral and far-peripheral at the fourth stage. The functions of intertextuality in the English Orthodox sermon have been determined in view of the compositional-structural, semantic, pragmatic, linguistic and cultural and other aspects at the fifth stage.

Critics have argued that Elizabeth Gaskell's first novel, Mary Barton (1848), is split by a conflict between the modes of realism and romance. But the conflict does not render the novel incoherent, because Gaskell surpasses both modes through a utopian narrative that breaks with the conflict of form and gives coherence to the whole novel. Gaskell not only depicts what Thomas Carlyle called the ‘Condition of England’ in her work but also develops, through three stages, the utopia that will redeem this condition. The first stage is romantic nostalgia, a backward glance at Eden from the countryside surrounding Manchester. The second stage occurs in Manchester, as Gaskell mixes romance with a realistic mode, tracing a utopian drive toward death. The third stage is the utopian break with romantic and realistic accounts of the Condition of England and with the inadequate preceding conceptions of utopia. This third stage transforms narrative modes and figures a new mode of production.

The first stage of this project aims to identify assessment measures which include items on voice-hearing by way of a systematic review. The second stage is the development of a brief framework of categories of positive experiences of voice hearing, using a triangulated approach, drawing on views from both professionals and people with lived experience. The third stage will involve using the framework to identify any positve aspects of voice-hearing included in the voice hearing assessments identified in stage 1.
