Motivation in learning is the basis for encouragement, encouragement in the face of ongoing learning. Good motivation when you learn it can affect the state of students, that is, from not wanting to take lessons to want to learn. The role of motivation is to encourage individuals to do something in the learning situation.Motivation can occur in a child's life because of the influence in himself to achieve the goals to be achieved and the influence of others, in this case the teacher motivates students. Because of that the teacher must have a big contribution to motivate the child is not wrong, in following the lesson specifically following the Christian Religion Education.First, learning motivation can provide excitement or encouragement to someone in doing work to achieve something in accordance with what is desired and can provide direction for someone to establish learning activities. Secondly, the motivation of an activity contained in a person that can influence his behavior to carry out his learning activities. Third, motivating learning is important in the learning process, because it functions as a driving force, driving, and can direct learning activities, in this case the teacher who plays a role by preparing methods and materials effectively. Fourth, learning motivation has a tremendous influence on learning achievement, both from within and outside of the student's own influence. Fifth, the emergence of student motivation depends on how the role of a teacher in presenting lesson material to students and by using appropriate teaching methods, as well as PAK teachers.

The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the effectiveness of think-talk-write teaching method toward learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe, (2) to describe the effectiveness of demonstration teaching method toward learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe, and (3) the teaching methods that are more effective between think-talk-write and demonstration among the eleventh grade students of vocational high school Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques used observation and test. Hypothesis testing used descriptive analysis and t test that was started by using normality and homogeny test. This study shows that (1) think-talk-write teaching improved learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe among the eleventh grade students of vocational high school Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with the average score 15.29. (2) Demonstration teaching improved learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe among the eleventh grade students of vocational high school Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with the average score 13.13. (3) Based on the result of analysis, the score of tobs = 2.152 > ttable = 2.042 with the significant score 0.035 < 0.05, the mean score of learning achievement by using  think-talk-write teaching method was 15.29, and the mean score of learning achievement by using  demonstration teaching method was 13.13. Based on those mean scores, it could be concluded that the use of think-talk-write teaching method was higher that demonstration teaching method, it means that of think-talk-write teaching method was more effective that demonstration teaching method.

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji konsep kultur sekolah, menganalisis konsep pendidikan ramah anak, dan penguatan kultur sekolah dalam mewujudkan pendidikan ramah anak. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, yang dilakukan di SDN Pingit 01 Kecamatan Pringsurat Kabupaten Temanggung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilkukan dengan wawancara, pengamatan, dan analisis dokumen, sedang analisis data dengan teknik deskreptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) konsep kultur sekolah meliputi beberapa modal budaya sekolah berdasarkan kebiasaan warga sekolah dan tertuang dalam visi misi, tata tertib, 8 budaya disiplin guru, dan 10 budaya malu siswa; 2) konsep pendidikan ramah anak ditemukan dalam sikap guru terhadap siswa yang memberikan perhatian, perlindungan, serta berperan sebagai informator, mediator, motivator dan fasilitator dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik dan nonakademik, serta metode pembelajaran perlu ditingkatkan; 3) penguatan kultur sekolah dalam mewujudkan pendidikan ramah anak dikembangkan berdasarkan berbagai kebiasaan positif sekolah. Kata Kunci: kultur, sekolah, pendidikan ramah anak STRENGTHENING THE SCHOOL CULTURE TO REALIZE THE CHILD-FRIENDLY EDUCATION Abstract:This study was aimed to examine the concept of the school culture, to analyze the child-friendly education, and to strengthen the school culture to realize the child-friendly education. This study used the phenomenology method, carried out ini SDN Pingit 01, Pringsurat, Temanggung. The data were collected using interviews, observations, and the document analysis. The data were analyzed using the qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings showed that: 1) the concept of school culture involved several school culture capitals based on the habit of the school members and this was conceptualized in the vision, mission, school regulations, 8 teachers’ discipline cultural items, and 10 students’ cultural items of being ashamed when doing something bad; 2) the concept of child-friendly education could be found in the teachers’ attitude towards the students by giving attention and protection, by becoming informants, mediators, motivators, and facilitators to improve the students’ academic and non-academic learning achievement; the teaching methods needed to be improved; 3) the strengthening of the school culture to realize the child-friendly education was developed based on several positive habits done in the school. This study aimed to know the influence of (1) Locus of Control (2) Student Perceptions of Teaching Methods (3) The Use of Learning Resources, and (4) Locus of Control, Student Perceptions of Teaching Methods, and The Use of Learning Resources simultaneously toward Accounting Learning Achievement Students Class of X, XI, XII Accounting SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Moyudan Academic Year 2017/2018. Data collection technique used in this research was questionnaire and documentation. Population of this research was students of class X, XI, and XII Accounting SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Moyudan. Abstract: This study held to improve determine the differences in student achievement in drill methods and conventional learning, to determine learning achievement which one is better among students who have prior knowledge of high, medium, and low, to determine whether there is an interaction between learning methods and prior knowledge on learning achievement. This study was a quasi-experimental research with the population and a sample of 40 students. The sampling technique with saturated sampling. The validity of the items with product moment and reliability with KR-20. Hypothesis testing technique with two way analysis of variance. The results of this study are: learning with drill method is more effective than the conventional learning (FA>Ftable); student achievement with high study prior knowledge better than students with moderate and low prior knowledge (FB>Ftable); there is no interaction between teaching methods and students' prior knowledge for learning achievement (FAB<Ftabel). Thus, from the results of this study are learning mathematics by using the drill method can be used to improve student achievement.

This study aims at evaluating: (1) the difference of students’ mathematics learning achievement viewed from two different learning methods, (2) the difference of students’ mathematics learning achievement viewed from different learning styles, (3) the effect of interaction between teaching methods and learning styles on students’ mathematics learning achievement. This study is a quantitative research with quasiexperimental research design. The population of this study is 210 students of 10thgrade of SMA MTA Surakarta. Two classes were chosen for the sample of this study by cluster random sampling. The first class was treated using Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) method and the second class was treated using Mind Mapping method. The data collection was conducted using test, questionnaire, and documentation. Morever, the data was analized using different number of cell analysis of variance with 5% significance level. The conclusion are: (1) there is difference on student’s mathematics learning achievement viewed from two different learning methods, Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) a give better achievement than Mind Mapping, (2) there is no difference on students’ learning achievement viewed from different learning styles, (3) there is no effect of interaction between teaching methods and learning styles on students’ mathematics learning achievement.

Creativity is an important aspect for every child, especially for kindergarten children. The level of creativity of the children both  in school and home will have an effect on their learning achievement. There for, children creativity should be developed and facilitated with various facilities and infrastructure. One of the way to develop children's creativity is the skills of paper folding (origami). The lack of children's creativity, especially in the art of origami skills, is influenced by some factors such as the lack of creativity of the children itself, the facilities and infrastructures, unsupportive environment, the possibility of unprofessional teachers in applying the basic skills of teaching, either skills using variations or style of teaching methods. By improving the professionalism of the teachers, it can be expected to create a fun learning-teaching process for learners

This study aims to analyze 1.) teacher teaching methods affect learning achievement 2.) student study habits affect learning achievement 3.) parental attention affects learning achievement 4.) cultural value orientation affects learning achievement 5.) teaching methods teachers, student study habits, parental attention and cultural value orientation have a simultaneous effect on the basic accounting learning achievement of class X AKL students iat SMK Negeri 2 Padang. This type of research is associative and descriptive. The population of this study was the students of class X AKL SMK Negeri 2 Padang totaling 180 people. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling with a total sample of 80 people. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using f test and t test. Data analysis was assisted by SPSS version 16 and eviews version 8. The results of the study show that: 1.) Teacher's teaching methods greatly affect learning achievement, a greater influence is found in the sample group of workers 2.) Student learning habits greatly affect learning achievement, a greater influence is found in the sample group of workers, 3.) Parents' attention greatly affects learning achievement. The greater influence is found in the non-labor sample group. 4.) Cultural value orientation greatly affects learning achievement, the greater influence is found in the labor sample group.Kata Kunci : Prestasi , Metode, Kebiasaan, Perhatian, Orientasi
