The origin of the current family crisis does not consist exclusively of factors external to the family, but above all in the lack of internal resources that support and solidify the family from within. In the context of marriage institution crisis and recent transformation of the concept of the family, it is important to reflect on the appropriate remedies to deal with this situation. The article tries to present tenderness as an important factor in restoring balance within the family. For the members of a family it is important to be able to express tenderness through the language of the body. This makes their relationships more authentic and expresses their commitment to building strong and lasting family ties. The last part of the article is an attempt to outline the basic features of the spirituality of tenderness in order to give the family new strength and stability.

In the context of systemic psychotherapy, the genogram represents a model of graphical representation which the persons involved produce and comment on in order to provide information about their family of origin, from at least a three-generational perspective. This paper proposes a new variant of the genogram, focused on theatrical language: the result of a five-year experiment in the training of dramatherapists, psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors. Starting from Stanislavski's and Grotowski's research, the paper highlights the potentialities that the theatre perspective may have with the genogram. Thanks to the ‘emotive memory’ and ‘body-memory’, the theatre can enrich the genogram method with a set of operational tools that can increase the introspective potential of the genogram itself, especially through the aid of physical actions. If the act of drawing represents an expressive ‘medium’ in the traditional genogram for stimulating the affective memory of family ties, then the language of performance can even better represent this medium, centred as it is on the activation of the body as a vehicle capable of bringing into contact the individual with his identity and his deep memory, even regarding the family, in order to creatively translate this into a communicative and narrative form.

AbstractInternational Migration, undocumented, form short to long term, it generates among those who leave (migrant parents) and those who stay (wife and children) a forced rearrangement on family ties; mainly it occurs some emotional and corporal vulnerability which is linked to estrangement, absences and/or presences, with fractures, fears, conflicts that affect the dynamic of the family. Emotions are part of human condition and have till certain point a free path in the subject’s life; but in a vulnerable person to recurrent emotions of sadness, anger, fear or anxiety, produced by dissatisfaction, hopelessness, will be a candidate for such emotions to settle in the body and present severe psychosomatic disorders. This qualitative study has the purpose to explain the emotional vulnerability and psychosomatic disorders in couples, women, and children of migrants in a rural community of the El Valle del Mezquital region in Hidalgo, Mexico. A questionnaire was used to know the socioeconomic reality of the population; and a semi-structured interview. Some of the obtained results in couples are: sadness, anger and fear as recurrent emotions that are linked with uncertainty in their marital relationship, a feeling of permanent abandonment. Women with headaches and nervous colitis. In the children, gastrointestinal disorders, permanent anger with the migrant parent, affronts with caregivers (grandmothers, aunts, cousins). Keywords: Migration, Emotions, Psychosomatic, Family Links. [1] Doctor. Resuming published and own data, a revision of classification of Chaetognatha is presented. The family Sagittidae Claus & Grobben, 1905 is given a rank of subclass, Sagittiones, characterised, in particular, by the presence of two pairs of sac-like gelatinous structures or two pairs of fins. Besides the order Aphragmophora Tokioka, 1965, it contains the new order Biphragmosagittiformes ord. nov., which is a unique group of Chaetognatha with an unusual combination of morphological characters: the transverse muscles present in both the trunk and the tail sections of the body; the seminal vesicles simple, without internal complex compartments; the presence of two pairs of lateral fins. The only family assigned to the new order, Biphragmosagittidae fam. nov., contains two genera. Diagnoses of the two new genera, Biphragmosagitta gen. nov. (type species B. tarasovi sp. nov. and B. angusticephala sp. nov.) and Biphragmofastigata gen. nov. (type species B. fastigata sp. nov.), detailed descriptions and pictures of the three new species are presented.

Sarcomas are a group of rare and aggressive cancers, which develop in bones and connective tissue throughout the body. Sarcomas account for only 1–2% of all cancers worldwide; however, mortality rates for sarcoma are high with approximately two in four sarcoma patients dying following a diagnosis. Delays in diagnosis, poor management of symptoms, patients’ high symptom loads and high carer burden are all associated with carer distress, which may lead to complications after bereavement. The experience of having a family member referred for palliative care is also distressing for carers, with the realisation that their family member is dying. This study aimed to explore the experiences of bereaved family carers of people diagnosed with sarcoma. A qualitative descriptive design using a social constructionist framework was adopted. Interviews were conducted with sixteen participants, and thematic analysis was used to identify patterns in the data. Four overarching themes emerged: beginning the journey; moving through treatment; transitioning to palliative care; and experiencing bereavement. The narratives were coherent and potent, and people reflected on their journeys. Interventions and supports for bereaved carers could include opportunities for counselling to support reflections, supports for developing a narrative such as writing therapy, and preparation for the death of the family member.

Introduction: Lymphedema is a specific type of edema that affects regions of the body in a chronic, progressive manner. Aim: The aim of the present study was to describe the therapeutic evolution of more than ten years of treatment for primary congenital lymphedema using the Godoy and Godoy method. Method: Ten children with primary congenital lymphedema with more than ten years of treatment at the Godoy Clinic were evaluated. Children with a clinical diagnosis of primary congenital lymphedema in treatment for more than 10 years with the Godoy Method. Cervical stimulation is the first treatment option of the method and is performed as monotherapy. The patients were reevaluated with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly frequencies and then every three months or when the family was able to return to the clinic. Results: For cases in which cervical stimulation was not possible, grosgrain stockings as monotherapy was the second therapeutic option. Conclusion: The Godoy and Godoy Method is effective at reducing edema in cases of primary congenital lymphedema, with the maintenance of the results throughout the treatment period.

The history of the inhabitants of the house at 5 Krupnicza Street in Krakow inspired to write this book, the aim of which is to present the history of two families who came to Krakow from different parts of Poland. The „Pod Matką Boską” tenement house, which has become a life haven for so many generations of Reiss and Chłopicki, including medical professors associated with the Jagiellonian University, is the basis of a much wider story about the intertwining of human lives. Thanks to these circumstances, we restore memory, and we often realise for the first time how far fates of families intertwine and connect with each other. Reaching deeply into the family roots, we not only find numerous family ties, but also appreciate their importance. We also understand better how history influences the course of life and how individual decisions can influence the course of events. The pages of this book will include wellknown and distinguished figures, who have their place in the history of politics and science, as well as doctors, military leaders, politicians. There will be also room for those who cared about family and public matters without publicity, serving current and everyday matters, but without whom great things could not have been fulfiled.

Characidium samurai, a species of the family Crenuchidae apparently endemic to rio das Almas and rio Vermelho basins, Bahia, Brazil, is described. The new species is readily distinguishable from its congeners, except C. lanei, by having a dark lateral band along the head and body that is particularly broad from the rear of the head to the end of the caudal peduncle (1.5 or 2 scales wide) and by the absence of dark bars or blotches on the ventral half of the body. Characidium samurai differs from C. laneiby having the lateral band with straight borders overall (vs.lateral band with somewhat irregular borders due to blotches extending dorsally or ventrally), anal fin ii,7-8 (vs. ii,6), and 4 horizontal scale rows above the lateral line and 4 below (vs. 5/3). It further differs from congeners by a series of features, including isthmus completely covered by scales, lateral line complete with 34-37 perforated scales, 9 scales on the transversal line, 14 scale rows around the caudal peduncle, anal fin ii,7-8, and the absence of dark bars or spots on the fins, except by a faded dorsal-fin bar. The presence of pseudotympanum in four species of Characidium is discussed.

The relationship between the distribution of the lateral line canals and their functionality has not been well examined in elasmobranchs, especially among Neotropical freshwater stingrays of the family Potamotrygonidae. The spatial distribution of the canals and their tubules and the quantification of the neuromasts were analyzed in preserved specimens of Potamotrygon motoro, P. orbignyi, Potamotrygon sp. "cururu", and Paratrygon aiereba from the middle Negro River, Amazonas, Brazil. The hyomandibular, infraorbital, posterior lateral line, mandibular, nasal and supraorbital canals were characterized and their pores and neuromasts quantified. The ventral canals are known to facilitate the accurate localization of prey items under the body, and our results indicate that the dorsal canals may be employed in identifying the presence of predators or potential prey positioned above the stingray's body. The presence of non-pored canals in the ventral region may be compensated by the high concentration of neuromasts found in the same area, which possibly allow the accurate detection of mechanical stimuli. The concentration of non-pored canals near the mouth indicates their importance in locating and capturing prey buried in the bottom substrate, possibly aided by the presence of vesicles of Savi.
