AbstractDuring the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Italian unification in 2011 three disparaging views of the Risorgimento were publicly expressed: the first by ultraconservative Catholics, the second by the neo-Bourbon movement and the third by the Lega Nord. This article analyses their cultural roots, evolution and mutual relations, with a particular focus on the neo-Bourbon movement, the most active during recent years.

This paper aims at explaining the concepts of collective memory, institutions, politics, law, as well as relations between them. By means of a short explanation of a network of mutual relations between these notions, we want to show how law and collective memories interact and how the relation between them is formed. At the same time, we see three modes of relations between collective memories and law: 1) past before the law, 2) memory laws and 3) law as collective memory. The first view consists in evaluating the past under a court trial. The second one in creating legal rules which promote or demand commemoration of a specific vision of the past. The third approach perceives law itself as institutionalized collective memory.

Islamization in Mataram shows symptoms of transformation of the cultural system of society, from global to local culture, from great culture to little culture; Sultan Agung, the last student of Sunan Kalijaga, played an important role in this task. as the third king of the Mataram, he strongly criticized the Islamization model which did not build local conciusness because it uprooted the cultural roots of the community from where it had grown, which would hinder the process of Islamization and the process of community maturity. For this reason, he formulated his thoughts through allegorical poems in the Sastra Gending Literature text. The purpose of this study is to provide an interpretation of the literary Sastra gending so that an integrative acculturative pattern is found in concocting a phenomenal model of Islamization in the Mataram era. This study was carried out by exploring library data, which will be assembled by utilizing historical research methodology of thought, while analyzing the contents utilizing social hermeneutics. Conclusion This study has 2 things: 1) Serat Sastra Gending contains that’s about personal self-integration and divine integration; 2) According to Sultan Agung, human should understand the essence of religious teachings in a balanced way, it will make human life harmonious and peaceful, not mutually blaming and toppling each other. That is the point of preaching with the pacifique penetration model

The implementation of the ‘third mission’ by universities is a significant area of research that has been explored by many Russian and international experts. The ‘third mission’ means engaging with society. Alongside education and research, it is an important factor in the successful development of a contemporary university. In this article, we explore how stakeholder theory, which is successfully employed in the management of large organisations, may be applied for the development of mechanisms for effective implementation of the ‘third mission’ by universities. We identify the main problems in organising stakeholder interactions at Russian universities and analyse possible strategies to improve the situation. We use the examples of Polish, Swedish, and Russian universities to illustrate the practical aspects of interactions at different levels between universities and stakeholders., forms, and methods in the field. Further, we propose a classification of key stakeholders of universities, describe their mutual relations, interests, and resources available to them as well as reflect on stakeholder participation models in educational management. Our findings may contribute to better management at Russian educational institutions and benefit national education authorities.

This article is the review of the scientific monograph entitled "Pedagogical orientation of younger school children in an environment: methodological outlines" (author – dr. Eleonora Melnik). The book consists of four chapters. In the first chapter philosophical aspects of mutual relations of the human with an environment are analysed. The system approach to understanding of the development of attitudes of the human with an environment is opened. In the second chapter of the book the interdisciplinary aspect of a problem of mutual relations of the human with an environment is analysed. In the third chapter psychological and pedagogical aspects of understanding of attitudes of the human with an environment are analysed. Composition and structure of an environment of the modern human being is presented in the fourth chapter. It is emphasized, that it is very important to create the new teaching materials developed on the basis of the author's theory of mutual relations of children with an environment. The methodological basis of construction of the pedagogical orientation of children in an environment are the leading positions of philosophy based on the dialectic unity of the human and the nature. The fourth chapter of the monograph is devoted to an environment as the scientific and pedagogical phenomenon. Here the analysis of definitions of an environment in modern sciences is very valuable, author's interpretation of different concepts is given. Despite of some critical remarks - the monograph is unequivocally useful to readers. Is worthy also that fact, that the author in every possible way aspires to embody the ideas in a school practice. Key words: environment, science education, system approach, pedagogical orientation.

Backgraund/Aim. To assess the possibility of the eruption of the lower third molar on the basis of the measured parameters: retromolar space, mesiodistal crown width of a molar and the third molar angulation. Methods. The investigation included 104 patients both sexes (43 boys, and 61 girls), 16 to 25 years old (meanage, 18 years). It was performed using the orthopanthomographic radiographs analysis of those patients. Each radiograph was covered by tracing paper, and the contoures of the followiny anatomic details were drawn: a) the crown and root contours of third molars, upper and lower central incisors, distal molars in occlusion, anterior edge of ramus mandible, b) lines: 1. the occlusal plane, 2. the line of retromolar space, 3. the mesiodistal crown width of third molar, 4. the axial shaft of the third molar and the distal angle between occlusal plane and the axial shaft of the third molar. The values were measured with an orthodontic caliper: the diameter of retromolar space, diameter of mesiodistal width, the value of distal angle between occlusal plane and axial shaft of molar. Results. A favourable angulation of the lower third molar (more than 60?) was found in, boys (left 27.90%, right 32.55%), girls (left 39.34%, right 37.77%). A favourable relationship between the diameters of mesiodistal width of the third molar and retromolar space was found in, boys, (left 13.59%, right 16.27%), girls, (left 8.19%, right 14.75%). A favorable relationship between the diameters of mesiodistal width of the third molar and the retromolar space and the angulation was found in boys, (left 9.30%, right 11.62%), girls, (left 6.56%, right 9.83%). Conclusion. There was not any statistically significant difference found between the relation of the retromolar value, third molar mesiodistal diameter, or of the third molar angulation to the left and the right side nor of their mutual relations in comparing boys and girls. A favorable prognosis was found in 9.33% of the patients.

The article reconstructs the transition from a perspective of cultural controversy to that of a political proposal that the varicoloured world of anti-Risorgimento revisionism encountered on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Italian unification. Through the demonstrations against the reopening of the Lombroso Museum, unjustly seen as an uncritical return to the theories of the Veronese scientist, and the revival of the legend of Fenestrelle prison as a death camp for Neapolitan inmates, a functional controversy was launched in order to collocate the memory of the unification process within a context of a colonial warfare. This position was upheld by neo-Bourbon revisionist texts, while the celebration of bandits as a new symbol of identity materialised with a demand for the "return" of the exhibits from Lombroso's collections, an issue which has yet to be resolved.

This chapter interrogates the political valency of the operatic canon. The case study is familiar, Giuseppe Verdi’s Nabucco, but rather than the opera’s political status (re-confirmed in a recent noted performance of the opera in the context of celebration of the 150th anniversary of Italian unification), the emphasis here is on its canonic status, which is both multiplicitous and contentious. In particular, its presence in the influential canone del Risorgimento proposed by Alberto Banti is revealing of certain aspects of operatic canonicity more generally: the difficulties inherent in characterizing reception in the theater, the significance of memory and “rememberedness” in canonic thinking, and the importance to the operatic canon not only of instantiation but also of participation. This chapter is paired with Mark Berry’s “‘Blow the opera houses into the air’: Wagner, Boulez, and Modernist canons.”

Along with the European Union’s (EU) increased interest in a common European culture and past, narration as a means to create and communicate about them has gained new momentum. By applying the Discourse-Mythological Approach, I explore how the EU narrates the story of the origins of EU Europe in two recent EU heritage/history initiatives. The analysis brought out three storylines in the mythmaking of EU Europe. While the first storyline emphasizes temporal continuity, shared cultural roots, and preservation and transmission of a common legacy, the second focuses on the idea of a break and a rebirth of a civic/political community. The third storyline highlighting founding figures and key heroes functions as a mediator between these two narratives. The founding myths seek to justify the political aims of the EU, that is, strengthening European unification and multilevel integration, and presenting these aims as choiceless and morally and ethically legitimated.
