AbstractIncreasing human activity affects urban ecosystem, including soils. The objective of the study were examine the content of lead, cadmium, copper, zinc, and manganese in soils of city parks and green areas from Bydgoszcz agglomeration, north Poland, estimate their forms and mobility, characterize distribution within soil profile, and estimate their origin – anthropogenic or natural. Three green areas from the older part of the city were selected for the study. Multistep sequential extraction method was conducted for the separation of seven metal fractions. It is concluded that soil studied were contaminated mainly by zinc and lead. These metals exist mainly in relatively non mobile forms i.e. associated with amorphous and crystalline iron oxides and with soil organic matter. The distribution within soil depth varied due to the elution process and variation of mixed soil material and additives.

The priority pollutants of urban soils are oil products, nitrates, cadmium, and zinc. The total non-carcinogenic risk was higher in the Kirovsky and Vakhitovsky districts of the city, and the dermal path was the most significant among the chemical penetration pathways. The distribution of risk factors for adolescent health along the path of inhalation was determined for the various critical target organs such as kidneys, hormones, blood, and respiratory systems. Analysis of the content of total metals in the soils of different districts showed that copper, zinc, lead made the major contribution to pollution in the calculation according to MAC (Zc) in all districts. Nitrates remain an important contaminant in every city under study. The values of total pollution factor, both for total and mobile forms of metals, did not exceed 16 units allowing placing the samples under study into a category with allowable contamination. The content of mobile forms of metals (apart from cadmium) did not exceed regulations in all selected zones. However, according to the results of our research, the concentrations of mobile forms of metals exceeded the concentrations of total forms of the same metals by approximately two times (but stayed within the limits of MAC).

Soils in the Vladimir region are poorly represented by mobile forms of cobalt and zinc, below average they are provided with boron and manganese. Accordingly, there is a need for the administration of preparations containing trace elements to replenish deficient feed rations. The use of the preparation «Polysalts of microelements» leads to an increase in the level of copper, zinc, cobalt and manganese in the blood serum of cattle, restoring the physiological norm. The optimal dose of the preparation «Polysalts of microelements» has been selected. It is 300 mg daily for 20–30 days in infertile animals, or daily at a dose of 270–300 mg in the last third of pregnancy before the expected calving When using «Polysalt of microelements» for 30 days at a dose of 300 mg, 100% of the cows came to hunt. The period from calving to full libido averaged 30,9±2,39 days; the service period was 79,5±2,47 days, and the insemination index was 1,6±0,14.

The aim of the study. Research the tourism and recreational activities of residents and visitors of the city of Lviv regarding the ecological state of green zones which perform a number of important functions, including social and environmental, which is to ensure that the residents of the city have the most favorable environmental conditions. Method. It is analized that within the Lviv urban ecosystem a green zone is allocated, that is, a system of territories with green plantations in unoccupied open spaces within a city or suburban area which have ecological, economic, recreational and aesthetic importance. The tourist and recreational use of the green zone has a significant negative impact on its condition. Results. The tourist and recreational activity of the residents of the Lviv urban ecosystem within the green zones is shown in walks, with pets included, mostly on unauthorized trampled trails, in organizing picnics, usually with the burning of fires, sports games and sunbathing and other, however, it is somewhat different depending on the type of green area and its affiliation with the nature reserve. Accordingly, the green areas of the Lviv urban ecosystem are exposed to such environmental effects as trampling of grass, which in turn leads to compaction of soil, compaction of the layer beneath, death of descending plants; collection of individual plants (usually flowers), which reduces the possibility of their self-renewal; mechanical damage to the green planting - a broken branch, kerf or notch on the trunk which cause infection of the trees with diseases and pests; contamination of the territory; burning of the upper layers of soil through unauthorized arrangement of fires, etc. Scientific novelty. Here is described the ecological consequences of the impact of tourist and recreational activities, which are quite large in local terms. Practical importance. It is stated that within the limits of the greenzones of the Lviv urban ecosystem, it is forbidden to damage and destroy trees, grass cover and equipment, consider a camp fire, arrange unauthorized rest places, passage and parking of transport, walk animals. But in order to reduce the negative impact of tourism and recreational activity on the state of the green zones of the urban ecosystem of Lviv, it is also necessary to introduce a system of management of the green zones of the city, which is, to create an interested administration. The wellestablished actions of the administration contribute primarily to the demarcation of the territory of the green areas, as well as to reduce the negative demonstration of recreational use of green areas.

Background: This study aims to determine and compare the levels of trace elements copper, zinc, selenium and chromium in GCF and serum of patients with periodontitis and healthy individuals. Methods: This cross sectional study includes 24 study subjects recruited from the patients reporting to the Department of Periodontics , Tagore Dental College Chennai. All the selected patients were subjected to a clinical examination done by a single examiner. The estimation of trace elements Copper, Zinc, Selenium and Chromium in GCF and serum is performed using Perkin Elmer optima 5300 Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectrometer (ICPOES). Results: GCF and serum copper levels showed no significant difference in both periodontitis and healthy groups . Selenium levels tend to be the same in both groups. Serum zinc levels are more in periodontitis patients than healthy subjects (p less than 0.01). GCF chromium levels are found to be more in patients with periodontitis than healthy. Conclusions : More research is therefore needed to monitor the role of these trace elements C with an increased sample size to ascertain whether they are associated with a reduced risk of periodontitis.

The Coexistent and Interspecific Landscapes or About Humans and Nonhumans Sharing Domestics Places in an Amazonian City  AbstractThe paper proposes a theoretical discussion about the coexistent and interspecific landscapes at the urbis, regarding, specially, the human shelter. This is perceived as a place of coexistence between humans and nonhumans – its surroundings where there are yards/orchards and green spaces inhabited by urban wildlife is also considered. The interspecific coexistence contributes to the diversity in shaping cityscapes and the domestic ambiences - the location of the living space/locus of intimate experience - allow human and nonhuman sharing a life together, founded on different forms of symbolic and practical interactions. The green areas turn up in places of diverse and interspecific interactions at the urbis, constituting spaces of contact. Aiming at these reflections, I consider my own coexistence experience with domestic cats and my work as an ethnographer who studies the relationships between human and nonhumans in a green area in the city of Belém (PA) in Amazon.Key words: Landscapes. City. Habitat. Animals. Green areas. Interspecies.
