The study aims at developing an instrument of organizational culture (OC). The study is based on a quantitative research and used techniques like exploratory factor analysis and the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to determine the principal drivers of OC. A 17-item reliable and valid instrument has been developed on OC to enhance the developmental culture (DC), the relational culture (RC) and the facilitating culture (FC) for cultural transformation in the University of Delhi. OC of the University of Delhi is moderate and needs to be improved.

This empirical study examines how philosophical work on the sublime relates to contemporary psychological work on awe. We operationalized several aspects of the sublime drawing from prominent philosophical theories and analyzed them in relation to three different measures of awe: the modified Differential Emotions Scale (mDES), the awe sub-scale of the Dispositional Positive Emotion Scale (DPES), and the Awe Experience Scale (AWE-S). We carried out an Exploratory Factor Analysis on our items on the sublime. We found high correlations between these items and the measures of awe, especially with the self-loss and connectedness dimensions of the AWE-S. By operationalizing aspects of the sublime drawn from influential philosophical theories and comparing them with psychological measures of awe, we find a large degree of overlap between awe and the sublime, suggesting that these two literatures could inform one another.

The empirical study presents the findings generated from 300 randomly selected respondednts from six universities in the central region of Uganda. The survey tool contained 24 self-reported items with a five point Likert measuring scale chosen from the earlier studies done on the four sub-dimension of talent management construct. Exploratory Factor Analysis was used with Promax rotation to establish whether identification, development, culture and retention are true dimensions of talent management construct. The results from the date exhibited that the four factors of talent management structure were explained at 56.1% variance. The validity and reliability were sound enough since the internal consistency scale estimates ranged from 0.837 (identification), 0.7(development), 0.707 (culture) and 0.758 (retention) for the factor structure extracted. Lastly, the findings gave plausible empirical evidence for the validity of the four sub-dimensions and their individual items.

Abstract.PERCEPTION OF FINANCIAL TOPICS IN BACHILLERATO STUDENTS AS ELEMENT OF INCLUSION. AN EMPIRICAL STUDY IN THE REGION OF VERACRUZThis study presents a global agenda subject that is an element of financial inclusion, analyzing the perception of high school students towards financial topics such as income, money management, savings and investment and expense and credit. Also, the construct of the identified variables perception is analyzed in the existing literature, where each variable gives its own indicators to study the perception of the students in the region of Veracruz. An exploratory factor analysis is applied to identify the factorial weight of each component, which grouped show that there are two components that explain the study phenomenon. The result, leads us to believe that the students have an expectation of what their future economic income will be in terms of the remuneration expected to be gained as a result of their job. They consider that the formal education that they will attain in the high school and college academic levels is closely related to the sort of income by wages and salaries that they may be able to earn on the long-term.Keyword: financial subject, financial inclusion, financial educationResumen.El presente estudio expone un tema de agenda mundial que esta como elemento de la inclusión financiera, se analiza la percepción de los estudiantes de educación media superior hacia tópicos financieros, tales como ingreso, administración del dinero, ahorro e inversión y gasto y crédito. Se analizan el constructo de percepción con las variables inidentificadas en la literatura existente, en donde cada variable arroja indicadores propios para analizar la percepción de los estudiantes de la región de Veracruz. Se realiza un análisis factorial exploratorio para identificar el peso factorial de cada componente, en donde agrupados al final arroja dos componentes que explican el fenómeno de estudio. El resultado nos lleva a pensar que el estudiante tiene una expectativa de lo que serían sus ingresos económicos a futuro en términos de la remuneración que espera obtener como resultado de su trabajo. Employee engagement is the rudimentary idea which helps in distinguishing and portraying the idea of connection among workers and their organisation, both subjectively and quantitatively. A worker who is locked in has a hopeful disposition towards its association and qualities. This paper tries to decide the idea of employee engagement, its arrangements being trailed by the organisations, investigating them, taking perspectives of representatives, examining the criticisms got and giving suggestions for development. The paper applies exploratory factor analysis to contemplate representative commitment by means of statistic factors. The essential information was gathered through the Survey Questionnaire Method. This paper implies the ways to deal with worker commitment that have been demonstrated to enhance profitability and in addition effectiveness, keep up clients at a higher rate, lessen staff turnover and accomplish more benefits. Representatives who are locked in are more joyful, both in their own life and in work life.

An empirical study was conducted into the structural configuration of person-organisational fit (P-O fit), measured by the P-O fit questionnaire. The data from three independent studies (a total of 4 388 respondents) was analysed and consistent results across the three studies were reported. The exploratory factor analysis yielded a two factor model with acceptable psychometric properties. The factors names were based on previous literature, namely Supplementary fit (person-organisational fit, indirect fit and value congruence) and Complementary fit (combination of demands-ability and needs-supply fit) perceptions. The two factor model was further tested for construct validity (discriminant and convergent validity) and was found to be valid. The findings could be used as a foundation for future studies as they provide an empirically refined conceptualisation and measurement of fit perceptions which is theoretically supported. An accurate measure of P-O fit could be used to make better predictions of individual’s work attitudes and behaviour.

The purpose of this article is to pragmatically analyze the effects of quality and innovation practices on the organizational performance from the sustainability perspective. Further, the researcher also aims to understand the effect of quality and innovative initiatives on the global sustainability as a whole. The study uses data obtained from a survey of 126 organizations comprising manufacturing (121) and services (5) both in India. The respondents chosen to answer the questions must have sufficient knowledge of innovation practices being deployed in the organizations at large. Descriptive statistics were used in order to determine the sustainability-oriented innovation practices deployed. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was applied to extract the factors and to provide the basis for gauging their reliability and validity. In addition, regression analysis was used to see the effect of sustainability-oriented practices on organizational performance as a whole. The sustainability-oriented innovation practices are definitely conducive to foster growth and performance benefits, provided and supported by this research based on theoretical and practical inputs taken from the leading manufacturing hubs in India.

The rapid advancements in information and communication technology during the third industrial revolution of the late 20th century has marked the beginning of a new era in the retail sector with the introduction of E-commerce. The dawn of the new century witnessed industry 4.0, revolutionizing all areas of online business by bringing in novel opportunities and possibilities. Despite the progress in technology, the determination of correct pricing on online selling platforms still remains a very complex task. The adoption of big data technology has enabled online sellers to make real-time price changes of high magnitude and proximity. However, with increasing awareness among buyers regarding modern pricing strategies, it is necessary to examine probable changes in consumer behavior when exposed to dynamic pricing scenarios. This study investigates the factors that influence consumer behavior, and their prospective online purchase decisions in a dynamic pricing context, through an exploratory factor analysis approach. A primary research survey was conducted, and 178 samples were finalized for data analysis through a series of web surveys completed by respondents in India. This study identifies, measures and classifies 27 research items into variables, namely shopping experience, privacy concerns, awareness about dynamic pricing, buying strategy, fair price perceptions, reprisal intentions and intentions for self-protection. These seven factors could be used to explain consumer behavior in a dynamic pricing situation.
