Development of genuine and dependable analytical methods which profile marker phytoconstituents in   an extract containing a mixture of several components is a challenging task. A simple, rapid, precise, and reliable HPLC method was developed for quantification of quercetin from the methanolic extract of Malva neglecta. The estimation was carried out using Phenomenex Gemini-NX-5 µm C18 .The parameters  considered for validation were accuracy, precision, linearity and robustness. The calibration curve was found to be linear in a concentration range of 20–100 μg/mL.The correlation coefficient was r2=0.9996. The % average recovery of quercetin was found to be in the range of 99.82 to 100.52% which was within the acceptance criterion indicating the accuracy of the method. The results of the robustness study indicated that there is no influence of minor changes. The developed and validated method can be successfully used for the determination of quercetin in Malva neglecta; thereby helping in authentication and quality control of this plant.

This study is entitled "The Effect of Income and Interest Rates on the Decision of Taking Mortgages at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Prabumulih Branch". The main problem in this research is how much income and interest rates influence the decision to take KPR at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Prabumulih Branch. Determination of the sample in this study is to use the accidental sampling method, namely random sampling. The number of samples studied were 100 respondents who worked, both as private employees, BUMN employees, and Civil Servants (PNS) who were classified based on the income they received per month. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with hypothesis testing using the F test, t test, and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study concluded that income and interest rates influence the decision to take a mortgage at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Branch Prabumulih of 46.8%. Researchers give advice, companies engaged in housing should really pay attention to what factors are very influential in determining the buyer's decision to take a mortgage so that companies avoid unwanted problems, such as bad loans

This research has been carried out in the Oeba Traditional Market and Naikoten Traditional Inpres market in October to November 2017. The aim is to find out: (1) Purchase Volume of Mustard Consumer; (2) the preferred type of mustard; (3) identify the factors that influence the demand of mustard consumers; (4) Mustard Sales Volume. The method used in this research is survey. Determination of the location of research carried out by purposive sampling. Respondents were determined as many as 120 people. The type of data collected is primary data and secondary data. To answer the first and fourth objectives, the data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, answering the second goal using a Likert scale and the third objective of the data analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that; (1) Of the 5 types of mustard the lowest purchase volume is dominated by curly mustard, namely the frequency of purchases per week 1-2 times with a volume of 1 kg - 2 kg. (2) The results of the study of 60 respondents, namely: 30 respondents in traditional traditional markets in Naikoten and 30 respondents in traditional Oeba markets, there are 3 types of mustard which are included in the Average category, namely curly mustard greens, and white mustard, and 2 types of mustard which are included in Like categories namely: mustard huma, and mustard caisim. (3) together - all factors significantly influence the demand for mustard greens shown by the F-count (14.895)> F-table (2.54) is significant at α = 5%. While the results shown by t-count which significantly influence α = 5% are Consumer Taste, and Holidays / Holidays. While the price of mustard greens, other vegetable prices, consumer income, the number of family members, the volume of mustard greens prepared by traders does not significantly affect the demand for mustard. (4) The lowest sales volume of mustard is dominated by Curly mustard, that is 9 respondents or 5% who sell with a volume of 22 - 42Kg / week

AbstractAn analytical method for the determination of tannic acid is proposed by the sequential perturbation caused by different amounts of tannic acid on the Belousov-Zhabotinskii oscillating system. The oscillating system is catalyzed by tetraazamacrocyclic complex [CuL](ClO4)2, where L is 5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradeca-4,11-diene. The method relies on the linear relationship between the changes in the inhibition time and the logarithm of the concentration of tannic acid. The calibration curve obeys a linear equation very well when the concentration of tannic acid is over the range of 6.25 × 10-7 ~ 1.56 × 10- 5 M (n = 16, R = 0.9984). This analytical method, equipped with a simple instrument, provides a new way to accurate determination of tannic acid.

The research was aimed to analyze of broiler meat price fluctuation, identify the factors competitor foodstuffs price that influence of broiler meat price, and identify alternative foodstuffs of broiler meat at consumer level in Pasuruan. The determination of location was did deliberately with consideration that in 2013, the production of broiler meat in Pasuruan was fourth highest production after Malang, Sidoarjo and Jombang , it was 8,842 million kg. This research was used secondary data from January 2010 until November 2015. The analytical method used is the price volatilitass analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the value of broiler meat price volatility in Pasuruan tend to be small (low volatility) and happen quickly. Factors competitor foodstuffs price that influence the price of broiler meat in Pasuruan simultaneously influenced by the price of local chicken meat, beef prices, the price of eggs, and prices of salted anchovies fish. While partially, broiler meat prices at the consumer level in Pasuruan influenced by the price of beef and the price of eggs. The relation between the both showed that: broiler meat is alternative foodstuffs for beef, eggs are alternative foodstuffs for meat broiler, salted anchovies fish is complements for broiler meat.

Abstract Preliminary study of an infrared method for determination of sorbic acid in foods gave promising results. The procedure consists of steam distillation of the food product, extraction of the distillate with chloroform, and measurement of the infrared absorbance of the chloroform extract at 10 μ. Recoveries from 92 to 110% were obtained from 14 food samples spiked with 0.05–0.15% sorbic acid. A collaborative study is recommended.

SUMMARY Since 1949 about 10,000 urinary corticoid analyses have been performed routinely in our laboratory. The method used for this purpose was described in 1950 (Sprechler). We determine the corticoids which can be extracted from the urine with chloroform immediately after acidification to pH 1. The extract is washed with sodium hydroxide and water, a Girard separation is performed, and finally the reducing power of the ketonic fraction is measured by means of the phosphomolybdic acid reagent reaction. During the last few years two other chemical reactions have been used for comparison: The formaldehyde and the Porter-Silber method. After a thorough examination of the above methods a standard technique was followed. In the formaldehyde method a microdiffusion in a Conway unit was used instead of distillation of the formaldehyde following the oxidation with periodic acid. The calibration curve was corrected for loss of material by taking the standard doses of DOC through all the procedures of the method. A micromodification of the Porter-Silber method was chosen. Furthermore attempts were made to determine how specific the chromatographic procedure is in the determination of steroids in urinary extracts. For this purpose the Florisil column was used, and the technique described by Nelson & Samuels was followed. Finally we have investigated the glucuronide-bound corticoids in urine in a smaller series of objects.
