Introduction: currently, worldwide and in the Russian Federation, one of the most pressing problems is the fight against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, which was assigned the status of a pandemic by the World Health Organization in early 2020. The huge economic damage to the countries directly affected by the pandemic and the global economy as a whole, fatalities, abandoning business, increase in unemployment, the restructuring of the economy to work in a new environment are a certain list of consequences we have been faced with in recent times due to the spread of COVID-19. The purpose of the study is to analyze the legislation aimed at supporting the economy and the population during the spread of the pandemic, as well as the measures of administrative and criminal responsibility in the domestic legislation aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus infection, as well as to examine the features of their application. Methods: the methodological framework for the research consists of the general scientific methods of cognition: the ascent from the abstract to the concrete, the hypotheticaldeductive, axiomatic and formalization methods, as well as the interrelated methods: analysis, synthesis. The results of the study and conclusions: the authors consider the changes in the legislation of the Russian Federation aimed at overcoming the consequences, as well as the fight against the coronavirus infection.

At the end of 2019, the Peoples Republic of China (PRC) faced an outbreak of a new coronavirus infection, the causative agent of which was given the name 2019-nCoV. Subsequently, the World Health Organization (WHO) on February 11, 2020 gave the official name of the infection COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019). The International Committee for Taxonomy of Viruses has named the causative agent SARS-CoV-2. The virus quickly spread throughout the world and acquired the status of an epidemic. It was necessary to develop algorithms for rapid diagnosis, provision of specialized medical care, as well as rehabilitation and prevention of recurrence. At the moment, all data is accumulated in real time. And the information on rehabilitation and prevention of re-infection is completely minimal.

The paper is devoted to the legal analysis of the consequences of a new coronavirus infection, due to which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic. By its nature, this infectious phenomenon refers to a force majeure event. Within the framework of the scientific research, the author describes the concept of force majeure, as well as the features of emergency and unavoidability that make up this legal category. In addition, a number of regulatory legal acts regulating public relations in this area are subject to legal analysis, both adopted earlier and published literally from the very beginning of the spread of coronavirus infection throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. Along with the analysis of the regulatory legal acts, the paper also provides judicial practice on the issue under consideration. Based on the legal analysis of the issues under study, it is concluded that adequate legal regulation of the consequences of the coronavirus infection within the framework of relations between civil law subjects will guarantee the participants mutual bona fide behavior in accordance with the norms established by civil law, and in the case of unfair behavior — the implementation of civil liability measures for such subjects. In conclusion, it is noted that prompt and qualitative regulation of the consequences of the coronavirus infection is one of the key tasks in the legal field in the current situation, since contract law, which includes provisions on force majeure, plays an important role in the development and maintenance of stability of civil turnover, providing all its participants with legal guarantees for the implementation of the basic norms and rules established in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation concerning the conclusion and execution of contracts.

It is shown that the level of consumption of vegetable products by the population of the Russian Federation is significantly lower than the standards recommended by the Ministry of Health of Russia and the World Health Organization. The dynamics of production, the level of marketability, exports and imports, the ratio of prices for domestic and imported vegetable products have been analyzed. The assessment of consumption of vegetable products by region, by federal district, by group of the population having different income levels is provided. Proposals have been prepared for the development of production and growth of consumption of vegetables by the population of the Russian Federation.

High priority of soil-transmitted helminths worldwide and in the Russian Federation is due to their vast distribution and the severe pathological features they induce in humans. Recently, it was observed that awareness of clinicians regarding this disease category was markedly decreased, although no significant decline of the disease occurrence has been recorded, whereas rate of imported cases of parasitic diseases including soil-transmitted helminths like strongyloidiasis mainly originating from subtropical or tropical countries rose in non-endemic regions. Lack of alertness on diseases like strongyloidiasis impedes timely diagnostics and treatment. Global prevalence of strongyloidiasis was estimated to range within 30—100 million people, however the World Health Organization (WHO) suggests that it was underestimated as precise data in endemic countries remain unknown. The occurrence of these helminths has been recorded in regions of temperate-continental climate: Western Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, the Caucasus, Central Asia, as well as in Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean region. In the Russian Federation locally acquired infections are frequently recorded in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region. Here, based on multi-year experience in management of patients with strongyloidiasis we present our data and brief review of publications and systematic literature related to the challenges of its clinical picture, diagnostics and treatment. Life cycle, basic biological parameters of free-living helminth in nature and distinctive features of autoinfection related to strongyloidiasis were reviewed. Special attention was paid to the risk of developing severe forms (hyperinfection and disseminated strongyloidiasis) especially in immunocompromised hosts: HIV infection, radiotherapy followed by chemotherapy, long-term corticosteroid use. Difficulties in diagnosing Strongy-loides stercoralis infection are due to its polymorphic and non-specific clinical manifestations, as well as the lack of clinical knowledge and awareness about the disease. Clinical importance of parasitological methods for larvae detection was underlined. It was noted that the drug of choice in therapy of strongyloidiasis is ivermectin unapproved yet in Russia, whereas albendazole as an alternative drug exerts poorer efficacy, justifying a need to repeat treatment courses to establish full recovery from the disease.

The paper presents data on the epidemiological analysis of all cases of coronavirus infection-19 in the world by WHO and Russia regions during the 2020–2021 pandemic and monitoring of diseases registered by WHO in the world and on the Internet resources «Stopcoronavirus» on the territory of the Russian Federation from January 2020 to May 2021. To assess the epidemiological situation, we used registration data in absolute figures from 209 daily and more than 40 weekly reports of the World Health Organization from January 21 to May 30, 2021. Intensive indicators of morbidity and mortality were calculated, which made it possible to identify the regions and countries most affected by coronavirus infection and the features of the epidemic process in them.

The article is devoted to issues related to the exercise of rights and obligations by parents to protect the interests of the child. The authors proceed from the fact that under the conditions of the 21st century, when the transformations of ideas about family and family life are obvious, a significant expansion of the range of subjects of parental relationships, changes in social and cultural models of family life, the exercise of parental rights and responsibilities while ensuring the interests of children requires more flexibility and taking into account social realities. The main concern of parents should remain the protection of the legitimate interests of their children. Ensuring the rights and interests of the child in modern Russia is significantly complicated by the low stability of marriages, the frequent separation of parents, and the growth of intra-family conflicts. The practice of exercising parental rights and responsibilities in the Russian Federation requires scientific understanding. Their organizational and legal foundations require improvement. The article is devoted to the analysis of topical problems of family legal relations, such as the possibility for both parents to equally realize the status of the legal representative of the child, regardless of their state of marriage, cohabitation with the child, the existing order of communication with the child in case of separation; realization of the parents’ rights to protect the legitimate interests of the child when he leaves the Russian Federation; participation of parents as legal representatives of the child in civil law and civil procedural relations; realization of the rights of parents to protect the legitimate interests of the child by bringing the matter before the court; the possibility of underage parents to demand the establishment of paternity in court; the consequences of parental abuse by parents. It is concluded that it is necessary to amend the current legislation concerning the exercise of parental rights and obligations to protect the interests of the child.

Introduction. Improving the public health of the population and, above all, reducing mortality is the main goal and the main criterion for evaluating the effectiveness of the reforms carried out in various fields. The mortality rate of the population appears not only in documents relating to the assessment of the performance of health facilities and the quality of medical services. The purpose of the study was to develop approaches to calculating the economic losses of the working population. The objectives of the study included the unification of the formula “Lost years of forthcoming life” for the able-bodied population and its approbation using the example of calculating economic losses due to mortality in road traffic accidents. Materials and methods. The study used data from the Chelyabinsk Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination on the number of people killed in road accidents in the region. The study was based on guidelines for using the indicator “Lost Years of Potential Life”. Results. As shown by a study approved by Academician V.I. Starodubov formula for calculating the lost years of life ahead is best suited for calculating the economic damage from mortality of the working age population in the context of various causes. With the help of the proposed formula, it is possible to calculate not only economic damage, but also the economic efficiency of health programs and other organizational measures in the field of health organization. Discussion. An important aspect in the calculation of economic damage is the need to take into account the level of unemployment, the indicator of gross profit of the economy and gross mixed income and the balance of labor resources. The formula proposed in this article, taking into account the above additional indicators, can be used to calculate economic losses due to the mortality of the working-age population using the example of individual constituent entities of the Russian Federation or individual municipalities. Conclusion. These calculations must be taken into account in the formation of regional health systems, as well as the justification of the financial costs of activities in the field of health care and prevention, including in the context of individual municipalities of the Russian Federation.

When the World Health Organization declared the end of the global outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) on the 5 July 2003, more than 8000 cases with over 800 fatalities had been reported in 32 countries worldwide and financial costs to the global economy were close to $US40 billion1,2. Coronaviruses were identified as being responsible for the outbreaks of both SARS and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS, the latter in 2013). Subsequently, bats (order Chiroptera) were identified as the natural hosts for a large number of novel and genetically diverse coronaviruses, including the likely ancestors to SARS-like and MERS-like coronaviruses3–8.
