The aim of this study was to understand the meanings attributed by the actors (social assistant, physical educator, pharmacist, nutritionist, and psychologist) to the work developed at a Family Health Support Center. A descriptive study with a qualitative focus was carried out by a focus group with 14 health professionals belonging to the center whose data were analyzed by means of a thematic content analysis. Three categories emerged: "interdisciplinarity", "lack of knowledge of the territory," and the "Support Center's isolation". Through this research it was possible to realize that interdisciplinarity has been sought after by the Support Center's professionals. However, this performance does not include the Family Health teams linked to the center, except in specific situations of mental health when Matrix Support is used for discussing and guiding the cases presented by the Family Health Strategy teams.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to compare the attitudes regarding interprofessional collaboration of health professionals that make up the Family Health Strategy teams participating in the ‘More Doctors’ (Mais Médicos) program; and to identify factors associated with attitudes of interprofessional collaboration. Method: a descriptive, transversal and comparative study developed with 63 health professionals who responded to the Jefferson Scale of Attitudes Toward Interprofessional Collaboration. The data were statistically analyzed. Results: the sum of the scale items ranged from 88 to 139 points. The analysis of all the Family Health teams indicated statistically significant differences between the scores of the scale and the professional category and between the scores and the education level, suggesting that nurses and professionals with higher education are more inclined towards collaborative practice. The analysis according to the profile of the doctor - Brazilian, Cuban or foreign exchange doctor - found no statistical differences regarding the physicians’ scores, nor in the scores of the components of teams with different profiles. Conclusion: the profile did not suggest a statistically significant greater or lesser inclination of the doctors or teams toward interprofessional work. This study can support new studies which will contribute to the analysis of inter-professional collaboration and the impact of the Mais Médicos program.

Objective: To understand how the professionals of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) develop their actions with people who need mental health care. Methods and results: This is an observational and descriptive research, which predominantly had a qualitative approach. The participants of this research were the professionals of the Reference Teams of the Family Health Strategy of a municipality in the interior of Ceará, in this case, doctors, nurses and dental surgeons. The sample was of twenty participants, which was given by theoretical saturation about the object of study. For the data collection, two techniques were used: semi-structured interview and simple observation. This project was submitted and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the State University of Ceará (CAAE: 44321015.4.0000.55.34 - Report No.: 1,082,101 / 2015). The data were organized through the technique of the Discourse of the Collective Subject. The results showed that health professionals are not yet ready to promote mental health care in primary care, since they still conceive mental health care from the asylum paradigm and, therefore, act based on the prevalence of diagnosis Psychiatric care, individual care, prescription drugs and renewal of prescriptions. Conclusion: In this regard, we emphasize the need to invest in continuing education for professionals in order to train them for the mental health act. Keywords: Mental Health; Primary Health Care; Family Health Strategy.

Objective To aprehend the social representations about the solvability in mental health care with users of the Family Health Strategy and professionals of family health teams and of the Center for Psychosocial Care. Method A qualitative study using semi-structured interviews for data collection, and the Alceste software for analysis. This software uses the Hierarchical Descending Classification based on the examination of lexical roots, considering the words as units and providing context in the corpus. Results The representations emerge in two opposing poles: the users require satisfaction with care and the professionals realize the need for improvement of health actions. Although the matricial support in mental health and the home visits are developed, the barriers related to investment in health, continuing education and organization of care persist. Conclusion The different representations enable improvements in customer service, solvability of care and aggregate knowledge and practices in the expanded perspective of health needs in the family, social and therapeutic context.

ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze the work process of the Family Health Support Center and identify the repercussions on professionals’ quality of life at work. Method: A descriptive-exploratory qualitative case study conducted with workers from Family Health Support Centers. The content analysis technique was used to analyze the resulting empirical material in the light of the theoretical reference of Work Psychodynamics. Results: Twenty workers participated in the focus groups. This study discusses the category of ‘suffering’ by the chosen theoretical perspective, which derives from interpersonal relationships and teamwork, the feeling of not belonging, lack of infrastructure for work, violence and vulnerability present in the territory. Conclusion: Group union and collaborative integration among workers can be strategies for the minimization of suffering at work in the context of the Family Health Strategy.
