Information technology will affect academic activities as well as the nature of the high education sector. This sector besides the need to assimilate these technologies will need to attend the requisites of market globalization and, as consequence, all theses changes will be reflected in the university library. Prospectives impacts will affect the structure (emphasis in user services, outsourcing of several services), in the financing aspect (growing of consortia in order to reduce costs), in services (electronic reference, support to long distance education programs, intelligent agents) and in the clientele (attending the great demand por high education which implies a diversity of people).

This paper aims to explore the role of universities in the spread of invisible corruption at the Iraqi high education sector. The main research problem is an attempt to explore the role of students, academic and other staff in the spread of invisible corruption at the Iraqi high education sector, and what best solution are used to limit its effects. This study pursues both deductive and inductive approach and uses the analysis which is supported by both theoretical evidence and statistical techniques. The study was conducted at the University of Basra and the Southern Technical University, where, the sample included professors with experience and specialization in the field of teaching and analyzing corruption in high education. The results showed limited visible corruption in the Iraqi education sector, while Invisible corruption was the most common in the Iraqi high education sector, because of the difficulty of discovering its practices. The spread of this type of corruption was due to the common interests between students and academic and administrative bodies. This requires Popularizing the culture of integrity and exposing corruption and its dangers in the external and internal community levels of Iraq's high education sector.

Library information systems and information assets administered to users become the backbone of library service with the support of information technology. Howevet the application of library information systems that grows rapidly may raise the riskthat causesfailures threatening librarians in assessing sources of risk threats. Risks may include events and conditions that lead to disruption in information services and the problem of the decision-making process evaluation although not documented in writing. Informants of this study consist of librarians who have social interaction with library information system. The method uses qualitative case study approach with in-depth interviews and direct observation. The results ofthe study identifies the riskin a hang of backup server is high, iThe purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of risk management in information systems at Gadjah Mada University Library using NISTSP 800-30 frame work and to determine factors that affect the implementation of risk management in information systems at the library. Risk management in information systems at Gadjah Mada University Library has been implemented to anticipate the various sources of risk threats by conducting risk assessment, risk mitigation and risk electricity is high, in security systems is high, in passwords is high, in authorization permission is moderate and in human resources is moderate. To reduce and eliminate the risk impact, Gadjah Mada University Library conducts risk mitigation by transferring the risk from a library information systemservers to PSDI (Center for Systems and Information Resources), while the risk evaluation of the activities is carried out continuously and consistently by the librarians to implement control and activities in risk mitigation to the extent acceptable to the library. Factors affectiig the implementation of risk management information systems at the Gadjah Mada University Library are influenced by the policies of the University, the perception of the library's head and human resources and technicalcapabilities in the fi eld of information technology.

Botanical gardens continually seek new ways to improve their education programs and increase their audiences. In the case of most university gardens, the larger academic community presents many opportunities. However, what does a university garden do when separated by several hours travel from the campus served? Garvan Woodland Gardens and the University of Arkansas (UA) have developed several ways to address this challenge. A summer school session and Elderhostel program work together to benefit both partners in this alliance. This article discusses these efforts according to their structure, costs, and educational benefits.

Bosnian libraries have varied origins, but many have suffered in the country's turbulent history and religious conflicts. The National and University Library (which was given that name in 1972) was founded in 1945, on the basis of existing collections. In 1952 it began functioning as the country's main research library and the library of the University of Sarajevo (established in 1949), and built up rich and important collections. Together with numerous other libraries, it was devastated in the recent war as a deliberate act, and 90% of its stock was destroyed. The salvaged 10% is poorly housed and largely inaccessible, but the library still functions with its remaining 60 staff (of the 100 plus it had in 1992). The main aim is now to build a modern library combining information technology with traditional services. International support is helping to restore the library, but much more money is needed to provide suitable buildings, establish worldwide links with other libraries, build up collections and train staff.

One of the factors in question is human resources (HR). The quality and advantages issued by each individual (HR) are expected to contribute to the progress of the organization. Contributions to the progress of the organization in accordance with the opinion of Titisari, Purnamie et al. (2016) "an organization that is always developing is everyone's hope. Both the government and the private sector expect their organizations to grow and develop well. This development is expected to enable organizations to compete, which cannot accelerate with the progress of this organization to be left behind”. This study focuses on developing information technology on employee performance, developing quality management on employee performance and developing information technology on quality management. The Jember University Library which will be used as an object in this study has long implemented a quality management system and implementation of information technology in all processes carried out. The object of the research was conducted in the Library with a sample of 46 employees. The data source used is a questionnaire which is primary data and secondary data such as the list of employees and the organizational structure of the University Library of Jember. Varies using a Likert scale. The analytical tool used uses SmartPLS 3.0. In this study obtained results produced by Quality Management (X2) on Employee Performance (Y1) has a path coefficient value of 0.419 and its effect is significant (t = 2.897, p = 0.004) because t> 1.96; p <0.005. The Effect of Information Technology (X1) on Employee Performance (Y1) has a path coefficient value of 0.456 and its effect is significant (t = 3.188, p = 0.002) because t> 1.96; p <0.005. The Influence of Information Technology (X1) on Quality Management (X2) has a path coefficient value of 0.853 and its effect is significant (t = 21.597, p = 0,000) because t> 1.96; p <0.005. Thus it can be concluded that Ha is accepted because of t-statistics> 1.96. Approved with the value of probability it can be concluded that Ha is accepted because p <0.05.

The article goal is to demonstrate the possibilities of the approach to diagnosing the level of IT graduates’ professional competence, based on the analysis of the student’s digital footprint and the content of the corresponding educational program. We describe methods for extracting student professional level indicators from digital footprint text data — courses’ descriptions and graduation qualification works. We show methods of comparing these indicators with the formalized requirements of employers, reflected in the texts of vacancies in the field of information technology. The proposed approach was applied at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Tyumen. We performed diagnostics using a data set that included texts of courses’ descriptions for IT areas of undergraduate studies, 542 graduation qualification works in these areas, 879 descriptions of job requirements and information on graduate employment. The presented approach allows us to evaluate the relevance of the educational program as a whole and the level of professional competence of each student based on objective data. The results were used to update the content of some major courses and to include new elective courses in the curriculum.

AbstractEntrepreneurship understood as a manifestation of economic activity is an issue widely discussed in literature, especially in the field of economics. Today, a large part of society is involved in establishing and running a business, hence the shaping of entrepreneurial behaviors gains importance among all age groups, especially young people. The main objective of the conducted research was to examine the interest in starting their own business by students and to verify whether the direction of their studies or role in the group affects the students’ willingness to start a business and whether a family member runs a business influences this interest and moreover, whether capital and the idea are the two main criteria conditioning the decision.. The conclusions were based on a study, i.e. (mainly) the cross-analysis of data collected as part of a survey conducted among students of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.
