Rural infrastructure is fundamental and central to the concept of quality of life as well as human development. The major characteristic of regional development is the constant widening of regional disparity in India after different plan period. Various Finance Commissions and Planning Commissions laid emphasis on the objective of achieving balanced regional development. The article identifies a gap in terms of education, health, communication and financial infrastructure in the study of panchayats of Jungle Mahal blocks. Mapping of regional disparities can aid in effective policymaking at the preliminary stage of planning. Panchayat level inequality has been analysing using dimension index and principal component analysis (PCA). Wide disparities in the availability of rural infrastructure have been pointed out and proper recommendation has also been made to minimise the gap in spatial inequality.

Abstract This study analyzes the regional development and formation of an identity for catadores (individuals that search through garbage seeking to identify and collect recyclable material) through the organizational communication of the Programa Municipal de Gestão de Resíduos Sólidos Catavida. The Programa Catavida was created and implemented by the city of Novo Hamburgo, RS with the intention of organizing catador activity in the city in order to provide them proper working conditions, fair pay and consequential improvement in quality of life. This is an exploratory study, qualitative and quantitative, and uses the techniques of bibliographical research, documentation, participant observation, questionnaires and interviews. Sixty-seven catadores responded to questionnaires, and twelve catadores were interviewed. The results of this study show that organizational communication of the Programa Catavida interfered the formation of a new identity among catadores due to the new value they felt as professionals in the community. As for the program's contribution to their lives, it may be seen that income is the most important element in the formation of their identities.

Topicality. In today's socio-economic development, companies are finding the way to find new ways to increase their competitiveness. Also, in view of the global development trends and the latest documents, the socio-economic elements are becoming more and more relevant, which give a new experience to the person and provide an increase in quality of life parameters. Formation of modern trends and the transition to a new type of management, characterized by the increasing importance for a person to gain a special impression (experience) in the acquisition of a particular product or service, through the use of material or intangible production. Price competition changes weight, because a person is ready to spend big money to gain special experience, incl. from natural diversity. Therefore, the economy of impressions / experience, which is focused on consumer sensations and reflects the latest processes and phenomena of the post-industrial stage of development of society, is becoming increasingly relevant. Aim and tasks. The purpose of the article is to determine the theoretical basis for shaping the situation of the experience economy in light of the world trends and goals of the Millennium Development, defined in international documents. Research results. Taking into account the current trends of world development, the experience economy should become a component of inclusive growth on the basis of harmonization of interaction between society and the natural environment, social inclusion. Such guidelines can also be noted as key in the document Basic Principles of State Environmental Policy of Ukraine until 2030. At present, there is a mismatch between state legislative documents and regional development strategies. There is no clear detail of actions at the level of regional development plans. Thus it is necessary to distinguish priority directions of development of the economy of impressions in the structure of development of territories taking into account its functional features (recreational tourism, industrial, agricultural) and introduction of ecosystem approach for all directions of socio-economic development. To this end, it is necessary to highlight the basic principles of the economy of experience, taking into account the basic principles of sustainable development adopted at the UN Conference on Environment and Development.Conclusion. The study identified the origins and prerequisites of forming an impression economy. The author defined the essence of the notion of impression as a component of the impression economy, investigated existing approaches to determining the category of impression economy, analyzed the global trends in the development of the economy in terms of impressions, substantiated the use of natural resources to obtain positive impressions and improve quality of life. According to the authors, modeling the preconditions for the development of the economy of impressions can be understood as ensuring the health and socio-aesthetic development of man, the inclusion of society, the introduction of ecosystem approach that will promote inclusive growth and conservation of its natural resource potential. All kinds of natural resources (mineral, climatic, aquatic, land, forest, recreational, etc.) have a direct influence on forming an impression in the process of consuming the service and in the perception of the quality of life of a person. Therefore, it can be stated that natural resources are an essential component of the impression economy.

One of the major problems faced by the Algerian economy is sustainability. This is because the economy is essentially hydrocarbon-based. Since 2001, Algeria has adopted a new strategy to strengthen and diversify the economic sector in order to reduce poverty and ensure sustainable development. This study aims to highlight the impact of these reforms on the development and the level of well-being. For this purpose, we carried out an econometric study over the period (2001-2013) in order to ascertain the impact of the creation of SMEs on the improvement of the quality of life which is measured in this test by the HDI. We found that the strategy adopted by the Algerian state for the creation and promotion of SMEs in Algeria has a positive impact on the state of development of the country and the level of well-being of the population.

Road Safety is an integral part of the national problems of personal security, address demographic, social and economic problems, improve the quality of life, promoting regional development. Low technical level of logging roads, potholes and the presence of longitudinal, transverse cracks on specific areas (in terms of curves, intersections and junctions of roads, towns, stretches of road with limited visibility) is the main reason contributing to the formation of areas with increased risk of accidents.

Oral cancer (OC) is a serious health problem. Surgery is the best method to treat the disease but might reduce the quality of life of patients. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) may enhance quality of life but with some limitations. Therefore, the development of a new strategy to facilitate PDT effectiveness has become crucial. ATP-binding cassette G2 (ABCG2) is a membrane protein-associated drug resistance and stemness in cancers. Here, we examined whether ABCG2 plays an important role in regulating the treatment efficacy of PDT and whether ABCG2 inhibition by natural compounds can promote the effect of PDT in OC cells. Several head and neck cancer cells were utilized in this study. OECM1 and SAS cells were selected to investigate the relationship between ABCG2 expression and protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) accumulation. Western blot analysis, flow cytometry analysis, and survival probability were performed to determine PDT efficacy and cellular stemness upon treatment of different dietary compounds, including epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and curcumin. In this study, we found that ABCG2 expression varied in OC cells. Hypoglycemic culture for SAS cells enhanced ABCG2 expression as higher ABCG2 expression was associated with lower PpIX accumulation and cellular stemness in OC cells. In contrast, suppression of ABCG2 expression by curcumin and tea polyphenol EGCG led to greater PpIX accumulation and enhanced PDT treatment efficiency in OC cells. In conclusion, ABCG2 plays an important role in regulating the effect of PDT. Change in glucose concentration and treatment with natural compounds modulated ABCG2 expression, resulting in altered PDT efficacy for OC cells. These modulations raise a potential new treatment strategy for early-stage OCs.
