The market pressures, competitive work environment and advancement in technologies are posing numerous challenges before organizations in order to grow and survive. Human resources in this scenario face tough time at work places and are forced to either perform or perish. The committed and dedicated workers who work tirelessly in realizing their own aspirations and strive hard in attaining organizational goals are termed as engaged employees. They need to inspired and guided by leaders so that they can be more effective and result oriented. It calls for the role of transformational leaders to instill sense of commitment and dedication among their followers. Keeping this in view, the present paper is aimed to examine the effect of transformational leadership on employee engagement and will also explore the relationship that exists between them.

In today’s organizations, Human Resources is one of the important driving factor. By creating a humanistic work environment, employees are more creative and have a passion to do the job. In order to improve the quality and quantity of human resources needs to the strategy of the organization. One of the strategies that can be undertaken by the organization is the psychic and spiritual fulfillment of employees in order to create a work environment that is humane. Spirituality is not about the workplace as religious practices are organized and not on God or theology. In this study proposes a theory Spirituality workplace, through a review of the literature and empirical study shows the definition of spirituality, the effects on work attitudes, as well as clarify the link spirituality and culture of the organization. This research is done through empirical studies related link workplace spirituality and organizational culture on college lecturer in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)-Indonesia. Data were collected through a survey with simple random sampling proportional and involve ± 320 Lecturer Private college as respondents. Data analysis techniques with linear regression method using SPSS 23 determines the relationship between Organizational Culture and Spirituality workplace.

Human resources play a strategic and important role to achieve company's vision and mission, the quality of human resources will affect the performance and progress of an organization. Commitment is very important for organization, a strong affective commitment encourages employees to contribute better, there are constructive factors of affective commitment such as transformational leadership and job satisfaction. This study wants to examine the relationship between transformational leadership, affective commitment, and job satisfaction and the effect of transformational leadership practices on affective commitment directly and indirectly through the mediating role of job satisfaction in tile rooftop manufacturers at Jatiwangi Indonesia. A quantitative survey approach has been used, and 5 hypotheses were tested with a sample 184 of 350 employees of roof-tile manufactures was selected to answer the questionnaire. Data collected based on descriptive analytics processed by SPSS Software, and the result of this study show that there is a positive relationship between these variables, transformational leadership significant positive relations to job satisfaction and affective commitment and job satisfaction becomes a partial mediator variable in the relationship between transformational leadership with affective commitment, but yet those 4 company still not represent all roof-tile company in Indonesia, future studies could replicate the current one by collecting data from different sources.

Objective - This study aims to investigate the extent to which transformational leadership could enhance financial and social performance of village-owned enterprises through organizational capabilities. Methodology/Technique – This study conducted a survey involving village-owned enterprises in Siak Regency, Indonesia. 121 questionnaires were distributed directly to the directors of village-owned enterprises and 89 completed and usable responses were received. Data was analyzed using WarpPLS 5.0 to determine that transformational leadership, directly and indirectly through organizational capabilities can enhance financial and social performance of village-owned enterprises. Finding - This study demonstrates that transformational leadership has a positive direct effect on organizational performance. Transformational leadership also has a positive effect on organizational performance through organizational capabilities. This study proves that organizational capabilities act as a partial mediator on the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational performance. Novelty - The results of this study demonstrate that transformational leaders are important in improving the performance of village owned enterprises. Therefore, this study suggests that village consultative bodies need to consider the behavioural characteristics of transformational leadership in recruiting village-owned enterprise directors. Abstract Human resources are a significant enough part of achieving organizational goals, both large and small companies; a company has modern equipment with high technology. The purpose of understanding and studying human resource management is the knowledge needed to have analytic skills in dealing with management problems, especially in the organization's field. The role of human resources in the company is significant because as the primary driver of all activities or activities of the company in achieving its objectives, both to obtain profits and to maintain the survival of the company. The success or failure of a company in maintaining its existence starts from the human being itself in maintaining the company in maximizing its effectiveness and efficiency. Wages and work environment are factors that significantly affect employee performance. An employee who has high wages or as expected and a pleasant work environment will achieve the company's goals and objectives.

This study aims to determine the influence of transfromational leadership, perceivedorganizational support, and employee engagement of organizational commitment. Thesurvey was conducted at Inspectorate Bekasi. There were 57 respondents selected throughpurposive sampling method. Respondents are permanent employees in the organizationand work for a minimum of five years. Based on the results of research by using multipleregression, and causal step mediation method, it can be conclude : (1) transformationalleadership has a positive affects to employee engagement, (2) perceived organizationalsupport has no positive affects to employee engagement, (3) transformational leadershiphas a positive affects to organizational commitment, (4) perceived organizationalcommitment has a positive affects to organizational commitment, (5) employee engagementhas a positive affects to organizational commitment, (6) employee engagement mediatesthe relationship between transformational leadership towards organizational commitment,and (7) employee engagement doesn’t mediates the relationship between perceivedorganizational support towards organizational commitment. The implication of this researchis if an organization has employees who instill a sense of employee engagement whoalways proud, enthusiasm of their work, and time feels fast at work will greatly affectorganizational commitment. Then, if having a transformational leader that directs themission to the organization, has a purpose, and expressed a sense of satisfaction inemployees will be able to increase the sense of employee engagement and organizationalcommitment. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between transformational leadership (TL) and employee engagement through the mediating role of the sub constructs of psychological capital. The article has used a single cross-sectional descriptive design. The sample consisted of 450 full-time employees working in the service sector in India. The data were mainly analyzed through structural and measurement model. The result of the study revealed that TL has an influence on employee engagement. The relationship between TL and employee engagement is mediated by sub-construct hope of psychological capital. Implication of this study is of high importance for organizations continuously working to increase the level of employee engagement to further enhance competitiveness. Prior research has examined the antecedents of employee work engagement, but little is known about the role of TL and a positive psychological state, in shaping employee work engagement. Imparting TL training and style can help to generate psychological capital which will positively drive employee engagement. Organizations with transformational leaders will be able to make employees feel valued and happy by igniting feeling of hope. The engaged workforce will result in the positive social outcome. This study is original as earlier studies have not explored the important role of hope and also optimism as dimensions of psychological capital. The article supports the critical role of leadership and psychological capital in creating highly engaged employees which have not been studied in an Indian context with specific focus to the service sector.

The role of quality human resources is very important to direct and formulate policies needed by organizations/agencies. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Motivation, Competence and Work Environment on Employee Job Performance at the Head Office of Hasanuddin University. The method in collecting data in this study is a questionnaire, observation (observation), interviews and documentation. The method of data analysis uses inferential statistical methods namely by using multiple linear regression statistical methods to measure the Effect of Motivation, Competence and Work Environment on Employee Job Performance at the Head Office of Hasanuddin University. Based on the F test the independent variables (motivation, competence and work environment) together have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (job performance). Through testing the correlation coefficient (R) obtained that the correlation level of the relationship between Motivation, Competence and Work Environment Against Employee Job Performance is a high relationship that is 67.2%, while the remaining 32.8% is influenced by other factors. And motivation is the most dominant factor affecting the Job Performance of Hasanuddin University Headquarters.

Abstract : Human resource management is one of the functions of the organization, and when the function is running well, the organization is expected to strive for employees to provide optimal performance in accordance with the expected. Factors that may affect employee performance are transformational leadership, organizational culture and organizational commitment. Transformational leadership is a state in which employees feel trust, admiration, loyalty, and respect for their leaders. Organizational culture is the norm, belief, attitude and philosophy that embraced someone in achieving organizational goals. Organizational commitment is a psychological state that characterizes the relationship of employees with the organization and that affects employees will remain in the organization or not. The object of this research is Secretariat Staff of DPRD Surakarta. Based on presurvey in Secretariat DPRD Surakarta has a phenomenon of human resources problems, namely: the leader can not be a good example for employees, there are leaders who often come late, not obey the rules set. Employees have difficulty completing tasks on time, so the job becomes ineffective. Employees are also less confident about the organization, because of the lack of rewards for employees who have good performance.Abstraksi : Manajemen sumber daya manusia adalah salah satu fungsi organisasi, dan ketika fungsinya berjalan dengan baik, organisasi diharapkan berusaha agar karyawan dapat memberikan kinerja yang optimal sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan adalah kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi. Kepemimpinan transformasional adalah keadaan di mana karyawan merasa percaya, mengagumi, kesetiaan, dan menghormati pemimpin mereka. Budaya organisasi adalah norma, keyakinan, sikap dan filosofi yang merangkul seseorang dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Komitmen organisasi adalah keadaan psikologis yang mencirikan hubungan karyawan dan organisasi yang mempengaruhi karyawan akan tetap berada di organisasi atau tidak. Objek penelitian ini adalah Staf Sekretariat DPRD Surakarta. Berdasarkan presurvey di Sekretariat DPRD Kota Surakarta, ada sejumlah masalah sumber daya manusia, yaitu: pemimpin yang tidak memiliki contoh yang baik untuk karyawan, ada pemimpin yang sering datang terlambat, tidak mematuhi aturan yang ditetapkan. Karyawan mengalami kesulitan menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu, sehingga pekerjaan menjadi tidak efektif. Karyawan juga kurang yakin tentang organisasi, karena kurangnya penghargaan untuk karyawan yang memiliki kinerja yang baik.

This study aims to analysis (1) influence of the work environment on employee performance, (2) influence of the work environment on employee involvement, (3) influence of teamwork on employee performance, (4) influence of teamwork on employee involvement, (5) the effect of employee involvement on employees performance, (6) the role of employee involvement mediates the working environment relationship on employee performance, (7) the role of employee involvement mediates teamwork relationship to employee performance. The population in this study was 680 of all MAP employees at the Dili, the sample using the slovin formula so as to get 156. Data were analyzed using the Smart-PLS The research findings the work environment, teamwork, influence positive not significantly to employee performance. This research shows that work environment, teamwork is not able to improve employee performance. The effect of work involvement on employee performance found that involvement had a positive significant effect on employee performance. This research is to examine and analyze the competence of the work environment commitment of ASN Job Satisfaction. The demands of organizations to obtain, develop and maintain quality human resources are increasingly pressing in accordance with the dynamics of an ever-changing environment. In the context of efforts to achieve organizational goals. Improved employee performance individually will encourage the overall performance of human resources, which is reflected in improved performance This research. Using research models (jobfunction). Data extracted from the target or research subject is data about individual orientation, in the form of competency, commitment, work environment and performance, identified as many as 4 (four) variables to be examined, including: 1) ASN Competency, 2) Organizational Commitment, (3) Environment Work, (4) ASN Job Satisfaction and (4) ASN Performance. Respondents used as a sample of 77 respondents using the Smart PLS Algorithm Boostrapping report. The results of the study came to the conclusion of the Algorithm Boostrapping report is a test to prove the level of significance of the hypothesis proposed by researchers. Output Boostrapping Algorithm shows that the effect of ASN job satisfaction on ASN performance is influential with a T-statistic of 9,531> 1.96. The original sample estimate value is 1,058, which shows that the direction of the relationship between ASN job satisfaction and ASN performance is positive.
