Vocabulary teaching is an important research topic in English teaching, this paper combines constructivist theory with English vocabulary teaching and proposes a new model of vocabulary teaching on the basis of qualitative analysis and modular construction, that is “The Word Parameter Contextualized Meaning Construction Mode and The Embodiment-activation Schematic Construction Mode”, the former point out that some words, in vocabulary teaching, do not appear in the vocabulary list, but teachers can hint parameters or clues in the context, such as: time, categories, comparison etc. to guide students to recognize and construct the meaning of unknown words autonomously; the latter means that the human brain systematically stores the learned knowledge and experience and divides it into several units to form a "schema" of which some incomplete places will continue to be supplemented and improved with people's cognition and practice’s development. At the same time, the accumulation of new knowledge will activate the old knowledge in the brain, which enables learners to connect messy knowledge into a systematic network. It is worth promoting in teaching practice. This study selects the college English textbook "New Vision" as the case material to analyze and prove that this new type of vocabulary teaching mode not only can broaden the teaching thinking of teachers and improve teaching efficiency, but also can help students explore the cognitive laws of vocabulary, build a vocabulary system, and effectively stimulate their potential in the short term.

In view of the problems in circuit course, flipped classroom is introduced and new teaching mode is explored. Teaching design, teaching reform suggestion, teaching effects and results are presented. It is verified that this kind of teaching mode can enhance the enthusiasm, initiative and participation of the students, teaching efficiency is also improved. It is also a good way for comprehensive practice.

Traditional English teaching practice often centers on the teacher and implements the teaching mode of “exemplifying by the teacher-answering by students-evaluating by the teacher”. This inflexible teaching mode fails to fully exert student’s subjective function; at the same time, due to the lack of necessary guidance and help from teachers, students are more likely to suffer from learning burnout and low self-confidence. With this regard, an English multimedia teaching mode was proposed in this study based on Krashen’s “Language Input Theory”. The theory is characterized by emphasizing the analysis of English language learning from the perspectives of “acquisition” and “learning”, advocating “understanding” of knowledge and using student-centered teaching methods. In this study, Krashen’s theory was combined with interactive learning methods and multimedia information technology to form an English teaching mode focused on “teacher-student”, “student-student” and “student-computer” interactions and build an “in class- after class” and “online-offline” English learning environment. This mode was practically applied in the teaching of “College English” at Hohai University in Jiangsu Province, China. The results show that the English multimedia teaching mode based on Krashen’s theory is more effective than the traditional teaching mode in improving students’ interest and self-confidence in learning.

With rapid development of 3D virtual scene, virtual reality (VR) technology starts to be applied in teaching practice. Because of its conception and innovation, VR technology has certain advantage in art creation learning and teaching. In traditional art course teaching, theoretical knowledge is more than design practice, and the depth of design cases is insufficient. Thus, students lack driving force of art creation. On this basis, wall painting technology and VR technology were combined and applied in the course of Illustration Design in this paper. According to the course requirement of Illustration Design – many design cases, Illustration Design teaching mode based on virtual wall painting technology was constructed. The study result showed that, students more approved the new teaching mode, their interest improved greatly and teaching efficiency boosted significantly. The teaching mode can make up for defects of traditional art design teaching mode and contributes to cultivating students’ art creation ability.

PAD (Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion) is a new teaching mode put forward by Professor Zhang Xuexin of Fudan University, which has attracted the attention of academic circles in recent years and has been widely used in teaching practice in China. After personal practice in college English courses, the author believes that in order to optimize the teaching and learning effect, we need to combine this model with the “literature circle” in reading program and attach great importance to the pivotal role of peer support in the learning procedure. Only in this way can we really achieve the goal of cultivating talents with core literacy. The current study focuses on the implementation of college English teaching practice based on the PAD class and its effect compared with traditional teacher-centered classroom teaching.

China is a big agricultural country, and training qualified agricultural talents relates to long-term development of our country. College physics is one of the important foundation courses in agricultural university, but the classroom teaching current faces severe challenges. To improve the efficiency of college physics teaching, we propose to a new type of teaching mode which explored independently by the students themselves. It can change the boring classroom atmosphere, and effectively stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm. So it can improve the teaching efficiency and promote agricultural talent training.

Sports biomechanics is an applied discipline with relatively strong theoretical knowledge. At present, it is used as an analysis means in exercise training in various countries and plays a huge promotion role for the development of competitive sports and sports science. However, phenomena, such as single-teaching methods, fixed-teaching thinking, backward-teaching environment, and hardware, still exist in the current education for sports biomechanics. For such phenomena, we perform individualized IRDC (Internet + retrieval literature + big data + cloud) teaching by using the Internet big data analysis and considering different characteristics of every student and apply it in online teaching of sports biomechanics course. We base our proposed individualized IRDC teaching mode on postmodern curriculum theory. According to four features, namely, rich, recursive, relational, and rigorous, we propose an individualized IRDC online teaching mode in this study. Moreover, we apply a new wireless telemetry surface EMG tester as a learning tool of practical teaching in the teaching mode, which we use to acquire Internet information data of online course and induce a real time communication between teachers and students. Finally, we adopt the principal component analysis to develop evaluation indices, including expert evaluation in and out of school and peer teacher evaluation, for the teaching mode. We find through teaching practice that the proposed individualized IRDC teaching mode can make the best of advantages of big data teaching, help teachers implement targeted individualized teaching, and contribute to the improvement of students' academic performance and comprehensive qualities.

College English translation is a specialty for students’ all-around development in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Traditional “Duck-stuffing” method is only effective to teach students to listen and write, and even results in students’ rejection to learning oral English. With the traditional teaching method, students and teacher seldom interact with each other, and students are passive to absorb the content of courses, and no positive feedback on teaching, which impacts the teaching efficiency to a certain extent. In view of this, an SPOC teaching mode based on “rain classroom” was designed by combining rain classroom that is based on WeChat and intelligent teaching tools of multimedia with SPOC blended teaching and partitioning the whole learning process into stage before class, stage during class and stage after class, applied in College English translation course, and checked for the teaching efficiency to verify the effectiveness of SPOC teaching mode. Results show that the SPOC teaching mode based on “rain classroom” put forward herein has some effect on teaching reform of college English translation course.
