Abstract: The purpose of the study is to know and assess the evolution of the themes and contents of the doctoral theses that have been read in Spain on Sports Biomechanics during the period between 1980 and 2019. The sample is made up of 233 theses after a selection process with the use of inclusion / exclusion criteria and specific search terms. The results show that there is a progressive growth in the production of doctoral theses over time with progressive increases, especially in the third and fourth periods. The thematic fields with the highest number of theses read are Support Biomechanics and Applied Biomechanics. The Basic Biomechanics field is a residual field with 3 theses read over time. In Support Biomechanics, the most represented subfield with constant growth is the Medical Area with 73 theses read, representing 68.2% of the total thematic field. In Applied Biomechanics, the subfields with the most theses read are the Analysis of Sports Technique and Analysis of Movement with 35 and 32 theses read, with no constant growth observed over time. The Biomechanics-Technologies field is the third with 10.7% of the theses read. The term most used in the thesis titles is "walking", which becomes a cross-cutting theme that has been approached from different scientific perspectives.

Objectives: With the rapid development of sports biomechanics, a new frontier discipline, the modeling and Simulation of human motion, as one of the cutting-edge research topics of sports biomechanics, is receiving more and more attention.. Methods: Based on this, this paper provides theoretical support for the analysis and research of foot stress in the process of training and applies it to guiding practice by using the analysis technology based on sports biomechanics and the method of foot pressure and simulation modeling and analysis system. Results: The results of the study showed that the injury of the athletes in the lower limbs accounted for about 46.7%, followed by the injury of the upper limbs and the injury of the trunk. In the lower extremity injury, the most common part of the foot joint is about 28.1%. Conclusion: Studies have shown that the changes in the force of the athlete’s foot after fatigue have not had the good stability before, the duration of each stage of the completion of the movement is changing, and the control of the ankle joint is decreasing, which greatly increases the foot joint. The possibility of injury.

Using visualization technology to judge the effect of sports injury intervention under the key parts of sports injury is a cutting-edge technology. On this basis, the visual analysis algorithm of sports injury intervention effect from the perspective of sports biomechanics is proposed. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of sports biomechanics injury, real-time monitoring of the change of sports injury posture was carried out, and the intervention information was visualized to make up for the defects of sports injury intervention, effectively identify potential injuries and take corresponding preventive measures. The simulation results show that the visual analysis algorithm of sports injury intervention effect from the perspective of sports biomechanics can effectively improve the accuracy and intervention effect of sports injury location judgment, and can effectively divide the spatial distribution of the medium in the injured part, reduce the damage probability and degree, and provide guarantee for the occurrence of potential sports.

Objectives: With the vigorous development of China’s sports industry, sports industry has displayed its own sports spirit on the world stage, especially in the speed skating sports. Methods: The combination of sports biomechanics and speed skating training not only helps to improve our speed skating level, but also helps to inherit the tradition of combining sports theory and practice in our country. Results: The speed skating technique based on sports biomechanics can use the knowledge of biomechanics to combine speed skating with mechanical system better. Conclusion: The high-speed camera can be used to collect the players’ training, and the frame rate adjustment function of the computer can be used for frame by frame analysis to ensure the posture correctness of the speed skaters.

Students in higher education habitually use mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, specifically using social networks on them for staying updated on current affairs, communication between one another, and entertainment. However, its use as a potential medium for learning especially in times of distance learning has not been studied in depth. Instagram is the fastest growing social network in the world and its graphical interface makes it a useful learning tool for a theoretical-practical subject such as biomechanics, where movement is analyzed. The main objective was to evaluate the change in perception of students in the use of Instagram as a learning medium for qualitative biomechanical analysis as a part of their undergraduate sports science program. 171 students filled out a questionnaire on the use of smartphones, social networks, and specifically Instagram, before and after doing an assignment of qualitative analysis that was carried. The results indicated a positive change in the perspective of the students when asked if class assignments can be done on mobile devices (p = 0.002) and social media (p < 0.001). The students also indicated a greater interest in doing assignments via social networks (p < 0.001), especially in the subject of biomechanics (p < 0.001). They also cited that Instagram is a useful source for information on sports biomechanics (p = 0.015) and could be used to make observations of sporting movements (p = 0.043). The results indicated that an introduction of familiar devices in undergraduate teaching could produce a positive change in perception of using such methodologies and facilitate learning. The students, who use smartphones very frequently in their daily lives, and specifically, many use them for browsing social networks, find the platform to be very useful in finding and sharing information related to sports and specifically in sports biomechanics. The visual aspect of social networks like Instagram can help engage them with learning strategies in a subject like biomechanics.
