Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru baik yang sudah mengikuti sertifikasi profesi maupun yang belum mengikuti sertifikasi profesi. Metode penelitian menggunakan explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala 5 model rating scale.  Responden adalah 88 guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kompetensi dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kinerja guru baik guru yang belum mengikuti sertifikasi profesi maupun yang sudah mengikuti sertifikasi profesi;  dan (3) terdapat perbedaan kompetensi dan kinerja guru yang belum mengikuti sertifikasi profesi dengan yang sudah mengikuti sertifikasi profesi.Kata Kunci: kompetensi guru, kinerja guru, sertifikasi profesi, sekolah menengah kejuruan  COMPETENCE AND TEACHERS PERFORMANCE WITH  PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONResearch aimed to analyze the influence of teacher’s competence on teacher job performance either already certified or not certified profession. Research aimed to analyze influence learning facilities and teaching methods as a factor in affecting student  learning outcomes. The research method used explanatory survey method. Data collection technique used questionnaire rating scale 5 scale models. Respondents are 70 students of vocational high school in Cimahi. Data were analyzed using simple regression. Data analysis techniques use multiple regression and product moment correlation. The result revealed that the learning facilities and teaching methods to learn both partially and simultaneously, has the positive and significant influence toward students learning outcomes.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh fasilitas belajar dan metode mengajar guru sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi  hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala 5 model rating scale.  Responden adalah 70 siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan  regresi ganda dan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan :  bahwa fasilitas belajar dan metode mengajar guru baik secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.

This study is aimed to analyze the influence of professional competence of teachers and powerpoint as a media of learning on the effectiveness of learning. This study employed explanatory survey method. This research also used data collection technique in the form of questionnaire with rating scale model. Respondents of this study include students of a Vocational High School in Bandung. Data analysis technique in this research is regression technique. The results show that the professional competence of teachers and powerpoint as a media of learning have a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of learning, either partially or simultaneously. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan media pembelajaran powerpoint terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan model rating scale. Responden adalah siswa salah satu SMK Swasta di Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru dan media pembelajaran powerpoint memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.

This study aimed to determine the influence of work discipline  on teacher performance. The research method used survey. Data collection technique used questionnaire rating scale models. Respondents are 45 teachers of Vocational High School in Cimahi. Data were analyzed using regression. The results of the study revealed that work discipline  have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. Therefore, performance of teacher can be improved though improving work discipline.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model rating scale. Responden adalah 45 guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Swasta di Kota Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Oleh sebab itu, kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan disiplin kerja.

The objective of this study is to determine whether there is a direct or indirect effect of transformational leadership and self-efficacy on the performance of IAIN Curup lecturers. Based on pre-observation, the low frequency of lecturers' attendance which did not reach sixteen meetings, the difficulty to meet the Academic advisor for consultation, inappropriate expertise of lecturers, and some of the incompetent lecturers became the background leading the researchers to examine the performance of the IAIN Curup lecturers. In this study, there were three variables. A purposive sampling was used to involve all official lecturers as the participants, and they were 112 people.  This study used a quantitative approach as the research methodology by applying a survey method with path analysis technique. This study used questionnaire as the data collection technique. The researchers had analyzed the instrument before it was distributed to the participants. The instrument was tested by using validity and reliability tests. Three hypotheses were tested. The results showed that transformational leadership had a direct, positive effect on job performance; self-efficacy had a direct, positive effect on the lecturers’ job performance; and the transformational leadership had a direct effect on self-efficacy.

Research aimed to analyze the influence of teacher pedagogic competence and student learning motivation on student learning outcomes. The research method used explanatory survey. Data collection technique used questionnaire likert scale models. Respondents are 64 students of Vocational High School in Bandung. Data were analyzed using multiple regression. The results showed: (1) the teacher pedagogic competence is in good enough category, student's learning motivation and student's learning result are in medium category, (2) pedagogic competence of teacher and student's learning motivation influences student learning result either partially or simultaneously .ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa.  Metode penelitian menggunakan explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model likert scale. Responden adalah 64 siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kompetensi pedagogik guru berada pada kategori cukup baik, motivasi belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (2) kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru dengan menggunakan metode survey explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai 5 model rating scale. Responden adalah guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa budaya organisasi di sekolah dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh karena itu, kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan budaya organisasi dan motivasi. This study aims to determine the effect of school climate on student's interest in vocational high school. The method used in this research is explanatory survey method methode method. Data collection techniques used questionnaires with a scale of 1 to 5 Likert scale models. Respondents were 66 students of class X of Office Administration in one of Vocational High School in Bandung. The technique of analysis using regression. The results showed that there is a positive influence between school climate on student learning interest. Thus the more conducive the school climate, the higher the student's interest in learning.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian explanatory survey methode. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala 1 sampai dengan 5 model skala likert. Responden sebanyak 66 siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Bandung. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara iklim sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa. Dengan demikian semakin kondusif iklim sekolah, maka semakin tinggi minat belajar siswa.

This paper examines specifically about interpersonal communication teacher’s as factors that influence the effectiveness of the powerful alleged learning students. Based on the results of data analysis by using simple regression where data collected through survey method using question form answers to the 51 students in vocational high school in Bandung as the respondent. The results of the analysis of data indicates that interpersonal communications teacher had an impact on the effectiveness of learning of students. The results of this research can provide implications towards the learning process. the results showed teacher’s interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect against the effectiveness of learning of students. Thus the effectiveness of student learning can be enchanced through improved interpersonal communication teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang komunikasi interpersonal guru sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi sederhanadimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 51 siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Bandung sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal guru mempunyai pengaruh terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi interpersonal guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Dengan demikian efektivitas pembelajaran siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal guru.

This article aimed to determine the implementation of classroom management on students’ learning discipline. The research method used Expalanatory Survey method with data collection technique used questionnaire. Respondents are 80 students grade eleventh from Office Administration major of a vocational high school in Lembang, selected by used sampling technique. Data were analyzed using regression. The result of the research revealed that: (1) the classroom management is in the quite effective category, (2) the students' learning discipline is in the moderate category, and (3) there is a significant influence of classroom management on students’ learning discipline. Therefore, students’ learning discipline can be improved through increased classroom management by teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini membahas hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan manajemen kelas dan disiplin belajar siswa serta ada tidaknya pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap disiplin belajar siswa pada sebuah SMK di Lembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Ekspalanatory Survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Respondennya berjumlah 80 orang siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) manajemen kelas berada pada kategori cukup efektif, (2) disiplin belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan manajemen kelas terhadap disiplin belajar siswa, artinya disiplin belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui manajemen kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru.
