This paper focuses on the issues of applying professional standards for preschool and school teachers in the assessment of teachers’ qualifications and the development of their professional skills. The paper reviews foreign practices in the subject and approaches to the organization of qualification exams for teachers in various countries. The discussed issues include the development of such criteria for assessing the quality of teaching activity that would promote professional skills in teachers as well as reveal the outcomes of this activity in students. The paper concludes with an outline of the key elements of the model of professional exam for teachers as a form of assessment aiming to prove that teachers’ qualifications meet the requirements of the professional standard.

The article substantiates the necessity of understanding mathematical text in the process of training of students – future primary school teachers. The features of the understanding of the subject area of "mathematics" on the basis of the analysis of the specificity of mathematical texts. The article presents the didactic conditions of understanding mathematical texts with students in order to improve the quality of mathematical and pedagogical education of future primary school teachers. Describes the tools and methods to ensure understanding of mathematical content by the students. The conducted research allowed to establish the effect of implementing the selected conditions on the overcoming of formalism in the assimilation of mathematics by students.

Lesson planning, the starting point and basis for teaching, is one of the most important steps to determine the quality of teaching. At present, lesson planning and teaching are separated; also professional teachers are rare in many areas. By collaborative lesson planning based on cloud platform, teaching and research is not limited in the office or their own school. In this work the role of professional standards, the system of requirements of production to structure of working professions and to their competences, problems of ensuring production by skilled workers with shots is considered. Special attention is paid to a way of definition of the major factors influencing change of indicators of quality of a ready-made product and also definition of ways of optimization of these indicators of quality. In article it is also described problems of formation of a complete system of ensuring sustainable social and economic development. Creation of constructive mechanisms of interaction of the sphere of work and the education increasing efficiency and reducing expenses. The professional standards establishing the requirements to knowledge, abilities defining necessary competences for performance of a certain work or professional duties are studied are considered as one of tools allowing to create steady and effective interaction of the sphere of work and education, to provide rational use of human resources now. By means of statistical methods of accuracy and stability of course of process, key indicators of quality of Nikitinsky long loaf such as humidity of a crumb, acidity, mass fraction of sugar and mass fraction of fat were estimated. It was revealed that not all values of the chosen indicators submit to the normal law of distribution, except an indicator of acidity of ready long loaf the probabilistic share of marriage was calculated by this indicator of quality. For the purpose of increase in efficiency of activity of the enterprise, quality of works, services and processes development and deployment of the professional standard for the specialist in quality control of bakery products plays an important role as the professional standard, is the main step on the way of formation of an effective control system of personnel potential at the modern enterprise.

Purpose of this study to determine how the facilities and infrastructure for softball learning in Senior High School Jepara Regency. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, with the subject of this research is the Senior High School teachers in Jepara district. The collecting data using interview, observation and documentation methods. The data analysis using methods that are carried out continuously with data reduction, data presentation and make a conclusions. The results showed that (1) From 9 State Senior High Schools in Jepara Regency had good softball facilities and infrastructure, because there were several schools that did not have the facilities. (2) The main inhibiting factor in the procurement of softball facilities is the price of equipment which is expensive and in large quantities. (3) Softball learning in the school has not run optimally, due to inadequate facilities and infrastructure. (4) The teacher is innovative enough in learning to modify the tools and how to play. The conclusion is that the price of softball equipment is very expensive and the amount of equipment is not small, so the implementation of softball learning in the schools has not been carried out properly, because of the lack of softball equipment and also requires a large field. It is hoped that schools whose facilities and infrastructure for softball learning are still inadequate should be available to immediately organize softball facilities and infrastructure while still considering the level of need, so the quality of learning outcomes for sports and health, softball material can run well and can also lift branches Softball in Jepara Regency has become a popular sport not only among students but also among the local community.

PurposeStudents' feedback is of great importance to the development of knowledge about teaching in higher education. One of the main purposes for which this feedback is collected is teaching quality assessment, usually conducted through course and teacher evaluations completed at the end of the course. However, for improving students' perceptions of teaching quality, their prior expectations should be identified first and the aspects that they consider relevant for a “good teaching” should be found out. Moreover, obtaining feedback at the end of a course could not benefit the respondents themselves. This work analyses students' opinions about the importance of several aspects related to the quality of teaching in an undergraduate course.Design/methodology/approachA questionnaire was administered to gather students' opinions about the importance of several aspects related to the quality of teaching in an undergraduate course. Differences in the mean score of each aspect depending on students' characteristics were also analyzed.FindingsThe teaching characteristics that students considered more important were lecturer enthusiasm, the organization of the lectures and materials, the examination methods and feedbacks, the interest and intellectual challenge of the course and the friendliness, interest and accessibility of the lecturer. Differences in the importance of the different aspects exist depending on gender, expected grade and prior interest in the subject.Originality/valueResults could help lecturers to do a better programming of the different features of the course and prepare the subject more effectively, which is likely to positively impact student satisfaction; student satisfaction, in turn, has been related to an improvement in students' performance.

This study was conducted with the following objectives: 1) to determine the performance ratings of the secondary school teachers as evaluated by their administrators; 2) to establish the relationship between the performance ratings of the secondary school teachers as evaluated by their superiors and their teaching effectiveness as evaluated by their students; and 3) to determine whether or not there is a significant difference in the quality of teaching among the secondary teachers in the different public schools serving as respondents of the study. Spearman Rho Correlation Coefficient was used to establish the relationship between the secondary teachers' ratings in the RPAST and their teaching effectiveness. The study revealed that 1) the average performance efficiency ratings were 87.61, 82.40, and 65.71 for INHS, KNHS and TNHS, respectively, with descriptive equivalents of very satisfactory for INHS and KNHS and satisfactory for TNHS, 2) there was no correlation between the performance ratings of the secondary teachers and their teaching effectiveness as perceived by students because of the lower ratings from the students compared to the higher ratings given by the administrators to their teachers; and 3) there was a significant difference in the quality of teaching among the secondary teachers in the three public schools service as respondents of the study.

AbstractThe purpose of this program is to improve the ability and skills of teachers on the use of learning media of science in the elementary school (known as Sekolah Dasar in Bahasa; henceforth abbreviated as SD) at the district of Sijunjung in the province of Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. We encouraged respective teachers on modifying, creating and using learning media relevant to Science learning in SD. Thus, teachers are not only able to utilize the existing science learning media, but also to develop new learning media related to the subject. The output of the program is the guidebook that teachers can further use as a technical guideline in applying science learning media at SD. In assuring the quality of the program, the evaluation was conducted through process and result assessments. The mean score of 3.54 and 3.73 rooted from process and result assessments respectively indicating the performance of teachers applying science learning media at a very good category. In conclusion, the dissemination program of technology aids learning media science in elementary school teachers in the District of Sijunjung at the Province of West Sumatra was successfully implemented.Keywords: Science, Learning Media, Elementary School, Sijunjung, Sumatera Barat

This article is devoted to the application of the professional standard "Pedagogue-psychologist (educational psychologist)" in organizations in the period of 2017 - 2019. The stages of application of the professional standard "Pedagogue-psychologist (educational psychologist)", formulated in accordance with the established conditions for mandatory application of professional standards in organizations are considered. In the context of the first experience of social and professional discussion of the requirements of the professional standard "Pedagogue-psychologist (educational psychologist)", the proposals for the organization of the application of this professional standard in the adaptation mode at the level of the executive body of the subject of the Russian Federation, self-government, as well as at the level of the organization that conducts educational activities in the territory of the subject of the Russian Federation. These proposals were considered and discussed in 2017 by the experts of professional and public discussion.
