DIDACTIC CONDITIONS UNDERSTANDING SCIENTIFIC MATHEMATICAL TEXT STUDENTS – FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

The article substantiates the necessity of understanding mathematical text in the process of training of students – future primary school teachers. The features of the understanding of the subject area of "mathematics" on the basis of the analysis of the specificity of mathematical texts. The article presents the didactic conditions of understanding mathematical texts with students in order to improve the quality of mathematical and pedagogical education of future primary school teachers. Describes the tools and methods to ensure understanding of mathematical content by the students. The conducted research allowed to establish the effect of implementing the selected conditions on the overcoming of formalism in the assimilation of mathematics by students.

The courses «physical education» and «increasing sportsmanship» are an important part of the entire process of preparing future primary school teachers for physical education. It is worth noting that the subject «physical education» should be professionally directed, because it is recommended to transform this course from a purely practical direction into a vocational and pedagogical one, introducing into «physical education» - theoretical, methodological, organizational and pedagogical blocks. The subject «physical education» addresses the tasks of improving the level of physical fitness and improving the quality of vocational and pedagogical training of students. The study of the subject «physical education» provides, in addition to solving the problems of strengthening the health and physical development of students, as well as mastering the technique of certain sports, the methods for teaching individual exercises of the school curriculum, methodological techniques, methods for organizing educational activities and the methodology of the chosen sport. Practical classes on the «theory and methods of physical education» provide for the formation of professional preparedness as a holistic state of certain realities. Examples of the restoration of various forms of out-of-class work in accordance with their functions in the general education system indicate the possibility of ensuring the versatile development of motor qualities of pupils, promoting the preservation and strengthening the mental and physical health of children of all age groups. Considering what has already been said, we propose the formation of professional qualities among students of the faculty for the training of primary school teachers to be held in physical education classes with a sports orientation.

This article presents an investigation into how primary-school pupils imagine a good teacher and what characteristics of teachers they appreciate. The teacher’s personality is a quality of central importance to the teaching process. Teachers find themselves in many diverse situations and they cannot always remain the same. Each situation requires different qualities, attitudes and knowledge. In different situations, the teacher can achieve the same educational outcome in various ways, by using a range of methods. No teacher can be expected to have the ideal personality and cannot possibly have all the desired qualities, so some qualities compensate for the lack of others. However, the crucial aspects of a good teacher’s personality is authenticity, naturalness and positive relationship with pupils.

This qualitative study was planned to identify the curiosity enhancing strategies (CES) and explore the challenges faced by teachers during the use of strategies at primary school students in the subject of science. Curiosity is the desire to acquire new knowledge through exploration in order to grow and expand understanding. Curiosity refers to the tendency of children to ask, investigate, and find out the new knowledge obtained from their environment. The researchers did not find a study in the literature that specifically examined identification of curiosity related strategies used by teachers in Pakistan. This research study was conducted to identify the curiosity related strategies used by the public sector school teachers in teaching Science to students enrolled in primary classes in Lahore. Purposive sampling technique was used for selection of the participants of the study. Data was collected from teachers and students of primary school (5th grade) level in science subject. Data from teachers was collected personally and on telephone. Data from students was collected through interviews by visiting the respective schools and after taking consent of the school principal. Two semi structured interview protocols were developed for taking responses at primary school level teachers and students. Data was analyzed by using thematic analysis technique. Findings of the study reflected that primary school teachers of the study were using different strategies for enhancing curiosity in students in the subject of Science. During the use of these strategies public sector primary school teachers faced many challenges like lack of resources, large strength of students in a classroom, lack of students attention, lack of parents cooperation. This study recommended that teachers and parents may use these strategies for enhancing curiosity in students.

The purpose of the article is to describe a study of the possibilities of network communities for the development of students' methodological competence in studying integrated courses. The article substantiates the advantages of using the integrated approach for the formation future primary school teachers’ methodological competence. It’s revealed the didactic potential of network communities in the formation and development of students' methodological competence. There are tools and methods that ensure the development of the methodological competence in the integrated courses study. The research allowed establishing the positive impact of the selected methods and tools implementation when studying integrated courses using the network communities to develop students' methodological competence.

The task of vocational education at the present stage of development of society is to train competitive professionals with professional mobility, skills of rapid adaptation to changing conditions of society, methods of self-education, improving the quality of their own professional activities and its product. The article analyzes the modern model of practical training of teachers, namely: future educators of preschool education and primary school teachers in the educational process of the Pedagogical Institute of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The current modernization of the domestic education system creates increased requirements for the quality of training of modern teachers, which is not only to modernize the content of profile-oriented disciplines, but also requires appropriate organization of various types of pedagogical practice. The authors investigate various aspects of training future teachers to carry out professional activities in preschool and primary schools. In particular, the activities of the Center for Self-Knowledge and Self-Development, the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies (ICR), the Educational Laboratory of Creative Pedagogy are substantiated, providing a combination of scientific achievements and practice in the educational process. It is in the process of training in these centers that students have the opportunity to model different components of future pedagogical activities and choose different ways to solve them given the proposed features of the pedagogical situation, which will further contribute to the formation of future teachers holistic perception of professional activity. all participants in the educational process, the ability to make independent decisions and respond quickly to the challenges of everyday teaching. The peculiarities of students’ work in the centers in classroom and extracurricular classes are revealed, in the process of which future preschool educators and primary school teachers have the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary projects, trainings, master innovative and digital teaching tools. component of the educational process and ensures the competitiveness of young professionals. The article identifies tools for information and educational environment that should be used in working with students (STEAM-education, storytelling, kahoot, answergarden), which will promote the development of future teachers’ ability to self-presentation, the effective formation of their professional competence.
