An increasing number of educational institutions in the study process uses one of the e-learning systems. Consequently, more and more students are offered learning materials in electronic format. E-materials in distance learning and e-learning is one of the most important elements, therefore much attention and enough time should be paid for their development. There are a number of studies on e-learning quality, where criteria of quality are discussed in the context of chosen e-learning environment and the process of implementation. This article examines only the quality of e-material. The aim was to find a way to reduce the effort and time of electronic learning material quality evaluation. The study used content analysis by summarizing the most important factors influencing the quality for teaching materials. Based on the quality criteria mentioned in the literature and personal experience, a criterion, which affects quality of e-learning material, were summarized and grouped. The criteria were grouped into four groups resulting from didactic, media, usability and formal quality. Quality evaluation is performed by using one of the methods used in software engineering - checklist. Based on the identified quality criteria a checklist was established. In order to facilitate the evaluation process a web-based tool is offered. The tool includes a defined checklist with assessment rating scale and three levels of impact. Evaluation of material quality is shown in the terms of percentage. After testing the tool, it could be used for course developers, program managers or other persons involved in evaluation process of e-learning resources.

The development of information technologies changes the learning process. The amount of publicly available data of e-learning systems allows personalized studies. Therefore, the tutor sometimes is needed for the student’s evaluation and consultation only. To ensure clear evaluation requirements and objective evaluation process, the learning material, as well as the evaluation system, must be discrete and semantically expressed. The list of mastered competencies and skills is more important to the enterprise; therefore, during the last years, the study process has concentrated on competency evaluation too. However, the current practice, when students’ competencies are summarized and expressed as one quantitative metric (score), do not express the list of students’ competencies and their level. To solve the problem, in this paper, we proposed a method for the design of competencies’ tree. The competency tree has to be formatted based on context modeling principles and analysis of Scope-Commonality-Variability. The usage of competency tree for students’ competencies’ evaluation proposes clearly defined and semantically expressed evaluation method for both human and e-learning evaluation process. This paper presents the results of the empirical experiment to adapt the proposed competency tree design and application for competencies’ e-evaluation method, based on flexibility, adaptability, and granularity of learning material.

[Title: Moodle E-Learning, the 21st Century Physics Learning Media] A distinctive characteristic of 21st-century learning is digital communication, meaning that the learning process is no longer face to face course between teachers and students but is more of an internet-based (e-learning) modern learning. The process of implementing e-learning requires a Learning Management System (LMS) which functions to regulate the management of learning. One of the LMS that can be used in organizing e-learning learning is moodle. Moodle e-learning can be used as a medium to improve the quality of interactive learning and support for the implementation of blended learning. Through e-learning moodle learning material can be accessed anytime and anywhere, besides that the material can be enriched with various learning resources including multimedia, which can be quickly updated by the instructor. In addition, the facilities offered in moodle e-learning learning are able to display learning materials that are abstract in nature into material that can be witnessed in person. Material samples that are mostly abstract are material on physics subjects. Therefore, moodle electronic learning is expected to be able to help students master the concepts in physics learning.

E-learning and e-courses have received great practical and research interest during the previous years. Recently, there has been a growing interest in increasing efficiency and adherence to quality standards for e-learning and e-courses. With the restrictions imposed by the recent COVID-19 pandemic and the shift to reliance on e-learning and e-courses, this has increased the interest of higher education institutions, especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dar Al-Uloom University has developed a framework to ensure the quality of electronic and electronic learning courses DAU-EQEM The framework consists of eight standards, And that was applied through this study on 272 electronic courses distributed over three colleges in addition to the university preparation program at Dar Al Uloom University. To verify the evaluation results, the evaluation results were matched with the results of a survey of students' perception at the university about the quality of e-courses. The questionnaire consists of 5 themes and 25 items. The results showed a great convergence in the results of the evaluation tools used to verify the quality of electronic courses at Dar Al Uloom University. The results also showed an advanced level of quality of e-courses at Dar Al Uloom University, with the need to develop plans to ensure continuous improvement and raise the level of performance related to the e-learning system and its e-courses.

This paper presents a review of decision criteria reported in the literature for supporting the supplier selection process. The review is based on an extensive search in the academic literature. After a literature review of decision criteria, we discuss the most important criteria: quality. Then different methods and factors for assessing the quality of supplier are discussed. Results showed that all methods and factors mentioned in this paper are not appropriate tools for quality evaluation. Moreover, we propose a novel method (using loss functions) in order to assess the quality of suppliers.

History school textbook on chemistry in the Russian Empire beginning in the first half of the 19th century. Which textbooks in chemistry were the first? Who were their authors? What do You know about first stable tutorials in 1930-ies? All of this is briefly reflected in proposed to Your attention. You will learn about the first criteria that guided the first authors of textbooks in 1803 and 1840 уу. You can read also about the pedagogical censorship, which appeared in 1869. Finally, You will be offered to current approaches to assessing the quality of the texts. The first formulation of this issue was started in the last decades of the 20th century. The author presents a comparative description of modern Russian textbooks, per-formed on the basis of the proposed criteria. Any teacher can evaluate themselves in accord-ance with these views and, on that basis, selective tutoring for his school. Seemingly has everything You need to create the ideal textbook, but it has not yet been established. At the same time in education appeared e-learning tools, including e-learning textbook. In addition to traditional types of information - text, tables, pictures etc. - electronic textbooks may use and new – speech, music, movie videos, animations and other colored. It is possible to use multiple document, presenting system information, hypertext links. Now, authors and consumers will face two challenges: the quality of these tests and their correlation with classical, i.e. paper. This chapter aims to share Turkey’s ICT integration experiences from a country-wide perspective rather than a school or classroom case. Many experiences in different countries indicate that successful ICT integration requires interlocking components, such as purchasing hardware, in-service training for principals and teachers, curriculum integration, financial resources for maintenance, technical, and pedagogical support, and an adequate amount and quality of digital learning material. Lack of one of the components may cause the failure of the whole integration process. The employment of ICT in education is a complex process comprising intricate components, much like the pieces of a puzzle. Sharing the experiences gained from national initiatives is especially important for developing countries, which should make an effort to learn from the experiences of other countries because loans granted by foreign sources make up a majority of the e-learning investment.

Quality evaluation of healthcare establishment (HCE) is a difficult process as it involves multiple components of quality criteria with various factors and sub-factors therein. Further, the quality criteria are not universally standardized. The subjective evaluation in itself is not reliable as a tool so that available HCEs may be investigated for selecting the best among them. Thus, to avoid vagueness and imprecision due to process of human cognition the need to evolve a useful method for evaluation of quality of HCE was essentially required. To achieve such an objective three well established HCEs from northern cities of India have been studied. An Integrated Quality Model designed for HCE (Azam et al., 2012a, 2012b) and specifically tested previously with the AHP study by the authors (Azam et al., 2015) with its components, parameters and factors sub-factors has been utilized to evaluate the quality aspects of HCEs forming subjects of the current study. Further, the standard formula of Fuzzy AHP methodology with the application of fuzzy set theory was applied to the multiple components of the quality criteria with various factors and sub-factors therein pertaining to various HCEs forming the subject of the study. Quality of the HCEs thus could be evaluated empirically avoiding vagueness due to human cognition factors. Utilizing this methodology respective rankings of HCEs could also be assigned among them with practical utility to maintain the required quality of their services. Quality evaluation of Health Care Establishment utilizing Fuzzy AHP along with fuzzy set theory is a unique method which will benefit the client patients to select the best HCE among the available alternatives of HCEs. It also helps the managers to improve the business by allocating scarce resources wherever critically required to improve various quality components criteria factors and sub-factors of their HCEs.

Fortunately, the forced change to online education required by the pandemic situation did not caught the University of Szeged completely unprepared. Our institution has a long tradition of using electronic teaching materials in various projects and situations. One of the most important tool is the SZTE Repository of Educational Resources, operated by the Klebelsberg Library, which stores almost 4,500 electronic learning material and it has more than 1 million downloads. In the first part of our study, we show our experiences gained during the development and running of the database. In the second part, we would like to talk about the development of an online education platform (https://edu.ek.szte.hu). It has launched last year and we presented here our first e-learning course, ‘Introduction to library and information science’. This course was previously held-in-person by the library staff to hundreds of students per semester at the university as a general education course. Redesigning the course took several months. During this time, we had to face several technical and education-related issues and questions which gave us the experience and the necessary knowledge about the methods of switching from classroom teaching to online courses.

Abstract The good practice portal of the Federal Centre for Health Education / BZgA consists of a nationwide collection of projects and interventions to promote the health of socially disadvantaged groups at the community/setting level. Currently the portal includes 3067 practices, out of them 124 fulfil the good practice criteria and have been identified as such. The portal aims to disseminate (good) practice in Germany, promote its translation into action, create transparency in terms of quality criteria and make the diversity of practice more visible. A secondary aim is to promote regional networking and the exchange of experience. To this end, an exchange platform (inforo) is also offered via the operating agency, which however is still limited in use. The portal does not intend to identify the most effective practices, but to be a database of well-described interventions that were feasible to implement in Germany. Therefore, the evaluation process was designed as a mutual advisory process: Standardized description of project owners according to 12 good practice criteria- review by experts from the responsible coordinating offices of Equity in Health - peer evaluation by another coordinating body in another federal state - and finally evaluation by an expert from the nationwide working group at the BZgA. Thus, the evaluation process is also set up to promote mutual learning with the goal of in turn increasing quality of the practice nationwide, with the advantage of being close to the implementation needs and the potential disadvantage of lacking objectivity. At the moment, BZgA is assessing different possibilities to integrate evidence as criteria into its good practice portal. Therefore, this presentation will end with a discussion on possibilities to integrate the identification and selection of evidence-based/evidence-informed preventive interventions, including the use of evidence criteria and quality of evidence.
