This article presents an investigation into how primary-school pupils imagine a good teacher and what characteristics of teachers they appreciate. The teacher’s personality is a quality of central importance to the teaching process. Teachers find themselves in many diverse situations and they cannot always remain the same. Each situation requires different qualities, attitudes and knowledge. In different situations, the teacher can achieve the same educational outcome in various ways, by using a range of methods. No teacher can be expected to have the ideal personality and cannot possibly have all the desired qualities, so some qualities compensate for the lack of others. However, the crucial aspects of a good teacher’s personality is authenticity, naturalness and positive relationship with pupils.

The article substantiates the necessity of understanding mathematical text in the process of training of students – future primary school teachers. The features of the understanding of the subject area of "mathematics" on the basis of the analysis of the specificity of mathematical texts. The article presents the didactic conditions of understanding mathematical texts with students in order to improve the quality of mathematical and pedagogical education of future primary school teachers. Describes the tools and methods to ensure understanding of mathematical content by the students. The conducted research allowed to establish the effect of implementing the selected conditions on the overcoming of formalism in the assimilation of mathematics by students.

The task of vocational education at the present stage of development of society is to train competitive professionals with professional mobility, skills of rapid adaptation to changing conditions of society, methods of self-education, improving the quality of their own professional activities and its product. The article analyzes the modern model of practical training of teachers, namely: future educators of preschool education and primary school teachers in the educational process of the Pedagogical Institute of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The current modernization of the domestic education system creates increased requirements for the quality of training of modern teachers, which is not only to modernize the content of profile-oriented disciplines, but also requires appropriate organization of various types of pedagogical practice. The authors investigate various aspects of training future teachers to carry out professional activities in preschool and primary schools. In particular, the activities of the Center for Self-Knowledge and Self-Development, the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies (ICR), the Educational Laboratory of Creative Pedagogy are substantiated, providing a combination of scientific achievements and practice in the educational process. It is in the process of training in these centers that students have the opportunity to model different components of future pedagogical activities and choose different ways to solve them given the proposed features of the pedagogical situation, which will further contribute to the formation of future teachers holistic perception of professional activity. all participants in the educational process, the ability to make independent decisions and respond quickly to the challenges of everyday teaching. The peculiarities of students’ work in the centers in classroom and extracurricular classes are revealed, in the process of which future preschool educators and primary school teachers have the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary projects, trainings, master innovative and digital teaching tools. component of the educational process and ensures the competitiveness of young professionals. The article identifies tools for information and educational environment that should be used in working with students (STEAM-education, storytelling, kahoot, answergarden), which will promote the development of future teachers’ ability to self-presentation, the effective formation of their professional competence. This paper analyzes from a comparative perspective the initial training of primary school teachers in four Mediterranean European countries (France, Italy, Spain and Portugal). These four countries present certain common characteristics of cultural, social, political and economic order, but also remarkable differences in their education systems and in their approaches to teacher training. This study focuses on practical training as a key element in teacher preparation, which often does not receive the level of attention it deserves. Training paradigms and their inclusion in private management and administration systems are also taken into account.

The paper presented the current situation of forecasting the number of children and students attending school in Ca Mau Province, Vietnam. A random survey of 89 primary school teachers in Ca Mau province with a questionnaire about the situation of the work of forecasting the number of children and students attending to school in Ca Mau Province showed that: The mean score of forecasting the number of children and students attending to school is 3.93 - corresponding to often level; the average point of the quality of the task of forecasting the number of children and students attending to school is 3.96 - at a fair level; the ensuring the development of education based on the results of forecasting the number of children and students attending to school with the mean of 2.92 - at a sometimes level. There is no correlation between forecasting the number of children and students attending school and ensuring conditions for education development based on the results of forecasting the number of children and students attending school.

The COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the manner in which school activities are organized and the way that interactions occur between all educational actors. According to both teacher and parent opinion, the quality of cooperation and communication between the school and the families has not been affected. The use of modern means of communication is considered by both parents and primary school teachers as an optimal strategy for strengthening the school-family partnership. This study presents several types of activities that parents have enjoyed and which could be organized in the online environment. The authors of the study have discovered that for some parents it was very comfortable to interact with the teacher in the online environment. For these parents, the main advantage of using communication platforms or applications refers to economy of time; thus, travel from their home or job to the school was avoided.

Efforts to developing the quality of education is empowering educators. Positive activities that accommodate teachers to improve the quality of education are the activities of the Community of Practice (CoP). Community of Practice (CoP) or KKG in Indonesia Context is a forum for professional development for primary school teachers, and one of which is improving teacher performance. The effectiveness of the CoP really needs to be studied in depth. Therefore, a study was conducted on the role of CoP in improving the performance of primary school teachers in Riau Province. The method is a quantitative descriptive study, which describes the role of CoP activities in improving teacher performance in Riau through quantitative data. The research was carried out in May-August 2020. The participant was elementary schools’ teachers in Riau Province. The data source is the primary school teachers totalling 60 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that there are several roles of CoP activities in improving teacher performance, among others: through CoP teachers can discuss in construct learning tools, teachers were able to arrange lesson plans for active learning based on analysis of student needs, learning materials are arranged based on various learning sources, using media active learning, analysing evaluation test and conducting assessments according to active learning and student abilities.

The goal of this research is to gain insight into the classroom climate in schools in Serbia from the perspective of teachers. To realize this goal, we set up two research questions: (1) How do teachers assess the importance of certain aspects of the classroom climate and their own engagement in creating favourable climate, and (2) which factors determine the quality of classroom climate. We considered four dimensions of classroom climate: equality in communication, social relationships between students, respect for students? feelings and the organizing group work. The sample consisted of primary school teachers in Serbia (N=1441), who completed a questionnaire made for our research needs. The results of factor analysis confirmed the initial assumption that the selected dimensions are related in terms of their belonging to the same construct and sufficiently different to be considered as selfcontained. The obtained results show that teachers in Serbia highly value the importance of all researched aspects of the classroom climate and believe that they are engaged to a large extent in creating a positive classroom climate. Also, it was shown that teachers? gender and the teaching level are the most important determinants of classroom climate quality. Bearing in mind the limitations of the applied instrument it is concluded that the results should be considered with caution and that future research should include students? perspective, direct class observation and qualitative methods to gain a more objective and more comprehensive understanding of the classroom climate.

The issue of measuring the quality of higher pedagogical education is considered in the article, in particular in the process of training the future primary school teachers. The author studies the structure of the future teachers’ preparedness to use the means of electronic linguomethods in their professional activities through the system of the components of this personal phenomenon, the criteria for revealing each of them, the indicators for their being measured and the levels of their being formed. The theoretical investigation has shown that the structure of the professional growth of future pedagogues is mostly considered in the unity of the motivational, cognitive, operational and evaluating components. Defining and characterising these components in the structure of the preparedness of future primary school teacher to use the means of electronic linguomethods in the professional activities has given the author the opportunity to find out the overall component-level structure of this personal-professional formation, which helps to comprehensively measure the quality of its development in the primary school teachers education. As a result, this structure illustrates the interconnection and subordination of the components of preparedness (motivational-valuable, cognitive, operational-activity, projective); the criteria of their measurement (directedness and aspiration, knowledge, skills and abilities), the indicators of each criterion (professional-personal, acmeological, linguomethodic aspiration and others; theoretical and methodological, linguomethodic, projective-methodical and other knowledge; methodical, motivational and other skills and abilities); the levels of mastery of future primary education specialists preparedness to use the means of electronic linguomethods in their professional activities: intuitive-receptive, reproductive, productive, research-creative. Characterising the level of preparedness of future primary school teachers to use the means of electronic linguomethods in their professional activities as stages of developing the skills of work with the means of electronic linguomethods, the author also tracks the individual regularities of transition from one level to another during studying at the institution of higher education.

The aim of this research is to reveal the views of primary school teachers, students and parents on distance education activities during the Covid-19 pandemic period, in order to evaluate the adaptation of students to professional activities through innovative technologies. This research was carried out in qualitative research designs in accordance with phenomenology. The data were collected by the researcher through semi-structured interview forms prepared separately for teachers, students and parents. The participants of the study consisted of 10 primary school teachers, 20 primary school students and 25 parents of students who were working in various primary schools in the city of Shymkent, Kazakhstan in the 2020-2021 academic year and agreed to participate in the research voluntarily. As a result of the research, it has been revealed that the majority of teachers, students and parents find the quality of distance education insufficient, they prefer face-to-face education to distance education, and they encounter many problems in the distance education process.
