<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> Supporting students can develop well supporting the selection of appropriate media specifically in developing listening and storytelling abilities. Researchers looking for the influence of the shadow play media show the ability to listen and tell stories in grade II elementary school. This study uses quantitative research with the design of Quasi-Experiment Pretest and posttest Control Group Design. Displaying performance shows using the Puppet Show media has been in accordance with the steps of the activities that are developed, and there is a development with the use of the Puppet Performance media to the ability to listen and tell the second grade students with sig. the experimental class of 0.144 which is smaller than 0.05 in the control class.</p><strong>Abstrak:<em> </em></strong>Kemampuan berbahasa siswa dapat berkembang dengan baik apabila didukung pemilihan media yang tepat khususnya dalam pengembangan kemampuan menyimak dan bercerita. Peneliti mencari pengaruh media <em>puppet show </em>terhadap kemampuan menyimak dan bercerita kelas II SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan <em>Quasi-Experiment</em> <em>Pretest and postest Control Group Design</em>. Hasilnya menunjukkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media <em>Puppet Show</em> telah sesuai dengan langkah kegiatan yang dikembangkan, dan ada pengaruh dengan penggunaan media Puppet Show terhadap kemampuan menyimak dan bercerita siswa kelas II dengan nilai sig. kelas eksperimen yaitu 0,144 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 pada kelas kontrol.

This study aims to determine the Implementation Methods Counseling Learning Method to improve speaking skills for second-grade students of MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung and determine the factors that influence the adoption of the Counseling Learning Method. This study is a research experiment, experimental research is a research method that is used to search for a specific treatment effect against the other in uncontrolled conditions. By using experimental design Pretest – Posttest None Control Group Design. Ways of data collection are observation and an oral test. The results of the analysis of the data obtained on the Application Methods Counseling Learning Method in Learning Arabic to improve speaking skills for second-grade students of MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung based on observations obtained 95.8% means "Very Good" on the level of 80-100%. And based on the results of the oral test of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the adoption of Methods in Learning Arabic is effective to improve speaking skills for second-grade students of MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Metode Counseling Learning Method (CLM) dalam Pembelajaran bahasa Arab efektif untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara bagi siswa kelas VII MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi penerapan Metode tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen, penelitian eksperimen adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh perlakuan tertentu terhadap yang lain dalam kondisi yang terkendalikan. Dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen Pretest–Posttest None Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes lisan. Adapun hasil dari analisis data yang diperoleh tentang Penerapan Metode Counseling Learning Method (CLM) dalam Pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung berdasarkan hasil observasi diperoleh 95.8% berarti “Baik Sekali” dari tingkatan 80-100%. Dan berdasarkan hasil tes lisan, analisis data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Metode Counseling Learning Method (CLM) dalam Pembelajaran bahasa Arab efektif untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung.

The aim of this study is to find the effect of Describe and Draw game towards students’ speaking competence at SMAN 2 Gerung. This study used a quasi-experimental with post-test only non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was second-grade students of SMAN 2 Gerung. The writer took two classes chosen as experimental group and control group. Experimental group was treated by using Describe and Draw game and control group was treated by using Word Match game. Based on the result of the study, it was found that Describe and Draw Game has a significant effect towards students’ speaking competence at SMAN 2 Gerung.

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using fix-up strategy on the students’ reading comprehension at MA AL-Wasilah Lemo. The population in this research was the second grade students of MA Al-Wasilah Lemo. The sample was consisted of 30 students which were taken by total sampling technique. There were 15 students in class Agama II 1 as experimental class and 15 students in Agama I as controlled class. This research was quasi experimental with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data was analyzed statistically after the result of the test was gained.The research findings showed that the twelve grades students of MA Al-Wasilah Lemo obtained score on pre-test with the mean score 44.00 which classified as poor. After giving treatment the students obtained improvement, they gained score with the mean score 65.00 as fair classification. The result of the data analysis indicated that there was a significant improvement in the students reading analytical exposition text after being taught using fix-up strategy. It was proved by the result of the statistical analysis of the level significance 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) 14 indicated t-test values of the students’ reading analytical exposition text (5.209) was higher than t-table value (2.145). Based on the result of analysis, the researcher concludes that fix-up strategy was effective to improve students in reading comprehension at the twelve grade of MA Al-wasilah Lemo.

This research was aimed to find out “The Effectiveness of Memories and Draw Towards Students’ Motivation in Reading Comprehension”. The research was experimental research in form of quasi-experimental and the design that was used was the non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was the second grade students of SMP Al-Ashriyah Sesela which consisted of two classes. The samples were VIII A as experimental class, and VIII B as control class where experimental class was treated by using Memories and Draw, and control class was treated by using matching picture. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistic (mean score, median, mode, and standard deviation). The researcher found that the motivation of the second grade students in reading comprehension effective by using Memories and Draw technique by the increase of mean score of experimental class that is 50.2 in the pre-test and 73.6 in the posttest. The result of the research was significant because the t-test also showed that Memories and Draw method effective to improve students’ motivation in reading comprehension especially in reading descriptive text, because the value of t-test = 2.705 > t-table = 1, 697. It means that memories and draw towards students’ Motivation in reading comprehension at second grade of SMP Al-AsriyahSesela was accepted. Therefore, using Memories and Draw has  effective on the students’ motivation in reading comprehension, so it is recommended to the teachers to use Memories and Draw to improve their students’ motivation in reading comprehension.

This research  aims to determine the effect of the use crossword puzzle media on the ability of vocabulary mastery of second grade students SDN 68 City of Bengkulu. This research is a quantitative research. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design with The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study is all students of class II SDN  in Bengkulu City that accredited A and use curriculum KTS. Sampling technique with Cluster Random Sampling. The sample obtained is SDN 68 Kota Bengkulu with the number of samples consisting of class V A and V B . Data of this research are analyzed by using inferential analysis that is uji t. From the result of the research, the result of  t with thitung  is 2,43 and t tabel value with significant level 5% equal to 2,04. So with thitung (2,43)> ttabel (2,04). The calculated value obtained is greater than the value of ttabel  so that H0 rejected and Ha accepted. The value of thitung obtained is greater than the ttabel value then it can be concluded that there is influence of media use of audio visual to the ability to listen the story on the student of class V in SDN 68 city of Bengkulu.

This study was about experimenting the effectiveness of Jigsaw technique in teaching writing descriptive text at second-grade students of SMPN 21 Mataram. The research method was quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The finding showed the mean score of the experimental group was 13.3 and the mean score of the control group was 7.2. After analyzing the data, it was found that t-test was 3.657. The degree of freedom (df) was Nx+Ny-2 = 38 from 40 students as the samples. The researcher got score 2,042 for confident level 0.05 or 95% and score 2,750 for confident level 0.01 or 99%. It means that using the Jigsaw technique in teaching writing descriptive text is effective.

This study was carried out with the purpose to measure the effectiveness of Presentation Method in increasing students’ ability in explaining cases. This study is quantitative research. Quantitative research was used as the mean in collecting the data. The population of this study was the students at the Second Grade of MAN Model Sorong in the years 2014/2015, by the number were 208 students. The sample of this study was the students of XI IPA 2 by the number were 30 students and XI IPA 3 by the number were 28 students. The writer used pretest- posttest control group design of true experimental design in this study. The result of study was presented into tables and had explained by percentage. In analyzing data the writer used the application of SPSS 18. The result of this study showed that there was an increasing score of students at experimental group. The mean pretest of both experimental group and control group before were 45. Then after treatment was given to experimental group the mean was 80. But the mean of control group was 40,25. It means that Presentation Method is effective to increase students’ ability in explaining cases. The result of this study showed that the T value > T table = 17.667 > 2.093. It means that the hypothesis of this study was accepted. The writer concluded that Presentation Method can increase student’s ability in explaining the cases.

AbstrakPenyakit Jantung Koroner (PJK) adalah suatu bentuk gangguan pembuluh darah koroner yang termasuk dalam ketegoriarterosklerosis. Ketidaksiapan pasien PJK pulang dari rumah sakit akan berdampak terhadap rawatan ulang sebagai akibat daripelaksanaan program discharge planning yang belum efektif selama dirawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhpenerapan discharge planning terhadap kesiapan pulang pasien penyakit jantung koroner. Penelitian ini menggunakandesain quasi experiment dengan pendekatan non-equivalent post test only control group design. Jumlah sampel 32 orang yangterbagi atas 16 orang kelompok kontrol dan 16 orang kelompok intervensi dan dilakukan di tiga rumah sakit di Kota Bukittinggi.Hasil penelitian didapatkan adanya pengaruh penerapan discharge planning terhadap kesiapan pulang pasien penyakit jantungkoroner yang terdiri dari status personal, pengetahuan, kemampuan koping, dan dukungan (p= 0,001; α= 0,05). Penelitian inimerekomendasikan discharge planning yang baik dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas asuhan keperawatan dan kualitashidup pasien penyakit jantung koroner.Kata Kunci: discharge planning, kesiapan pulang, penyakit jantung koronerAbstractCoronary Heart Disease (CHD) is a form of blood vessel disorder that belongs to the category of coronary atherosclerosis. Anunreadiness of patients with CHD to go home from the hospital will have an impact on readmission as a result of ineffectivedischarge planning program during hospitalized. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the implementation ofdischarge planning program on the readiness to be discharged from the hospital. A quasi experiment with non-equivalent posttest only control group design was employed. The participant of the study was 32 respondents devided into control andintervention groups, each had 16 respondents who were taken from three hospitals in Bukittingi. The result showed thatdischarge planning program has significance influence on patient’s perception of their readiness to be discharged from thehospital, it consisting of personal status, knowledge, coping ability, and support (p= 0.001; α= 0.05). This study recommendsthat a good discharge planning program can be implemented to improve the quality of nursing care, to reduce the risk ofreadmission to the hospital and the quality of life of patients with coronary heart diseases.Keywords: coronary heart disease, discharge planning, readiness to be discharged

This research is aimed to determine the effectivity of training to increase self-efficacy towards career preference options in psychology. This is a quantitative research, in which experiment method is applied by using pretest-posttest control group design. The dependent variable is self-efficacy towards career preference options in psychology. Self efficacy towards career preference options in psychology is measured using self efficacy towards career preference options scale. The independent variable in this research is career planning training. The research subject are 40 persons groupped into experiment group and control group. Pre-test are given to both experiment and control group. next, the experiment group is given treatment of career planning training. The next step, post test is administered to experiment group and control group. The research is analized using anava repeated measure. Anava repeated measure resulted showing significant result. Thus, hyphothesis stating that there is effect of career planning training to self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology student of UNESA is accepted. Self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology increased after career planning training is given as treatment. Self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology in experiment group between pre-test and post-test is different.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Variabel tergantung pada penelitian ini adalah efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi. Kemampuan efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi diukur dengan skala efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir. Sedangkan variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan perencanaan karir. Subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 40 orang yang kemudian dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diberikan pre-test. Selanjutnya pada kelompok eksperimen dikenai perlakuan berupa pelatihan perencanaan karir. Tahapan berikutnya adalah pemberian posttest pada kelompok eksprimen dan kelompok kontrol. Analisis yang akan digunakan adalah anava amatan ulangan. Hasil anava amatan ulangan menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan perencanaan karir terhadap efikasi diri terkait pilihan minat bidang karir psikologi pada mahasiswa psikologi UNESA, diterima. Efikasi diri terhadap pilihan minat bidang karir di Psikologi meningkat setelah diberikan pelatihan perencanaan karir.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan bahan ajar model inkuiri terbimbing terintegrasi kearifan lokal berbasis outcome based education (OBE) melalui penggunaan media online terhadap literasi sains peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 8 Mataram. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment), dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian seluruh peserta didik kelas X MIA (164 orang). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes literasi sains. Hasil validasi kelayakan bahan ajar oleh ahli menunjukkan skor rata-rata 0,78 yang termasuk dalam kategori layak. Presentase respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar yaitu 55,93% yang tergolong sangat menarik. Data keterbacaan menggunakan flesh kinchaid grade level menyatakan naskah bahan ajar layak untuk kelas X dengan rentang usia pengguna 13-16 tahun dan rata-rata indeks keterbacaan sebesar 10,7. Hasil uji hipotesis MANOVA menunjukkan nilai signifikansi literasi sains peserta didik yaitu 0,000 (p < 0,05), sehingga penerapan bahan ajar model inkuiri terbimbing terintegrasi kearifan lokal berbasis outcome based education melalui penggunaan media online berpengaruh terhadap literasi sains peserta didik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bahan ajar model inkuiri  terbimbing terintegrasi kearifan lokal berbasis outcome based education melalui penggunaan media online berpengaruh terhadap literasi sains peserta didik.
