With the rapid development of society and the continuous deepening of reform and opening up, the current psychological pressure on college students is getting worse. Psychological counseling in colleges and universities is an important measure to improve the psychological quality of college students and maintain and enhance the mental health of college students. Under the current situation, it has gradually attracted the attention of all sectors of society. This article briefly expounds the significance and development ideas of college psychological counseling work, analyzes and discusses several issues worth noting in the process of psychological counseling work, and provides references for promoting the continuous development of college psychological counseling work.

Compared with the previous teaching environment and model, college students need more self-awareness and self-discipline to learn better. In order to solve many mental health problems of college students, this work studies that the school should increase policy support to relevant parties and strengthen the cultivation of college students’ psychological counseling ability, so as to provide more psychological counseling services for college students. This work studies and analyzes the common problems in contemporary college students’ mental health education, such as lack of teachers, mere formality, imperfect system, and poor pertinence, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures for college students’ mental health education. When college students enter the university, they need to further improve their knowledge and ability to achieve professional development in a relatively loose learning environment. University is a key period for college students’ personality improvement and physical and mental development. With the increasing pressure of social employment, the psychological pressure of college students is increasing. This study provides a reference for the mental health problems of college students.

Abstract Background The COVID-19 pandemic has been spreading rapidly in China and other countries since December 2019, which has increased the risk of infection, and brought the unbearable huge psychological pressure on people. Methods A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted from 31 August 2020, to 14 September 2020 by convenience sampling on the back-to-Wuhan college students, which included the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), the Insomnia Severity Index-7 (ISI-7), and the revised Impact of Event Scale (IES-R) scales and the basic demographic characteristics. Results The results from 1017 participants suggested that 44%, 47.5%, 37.7%, 57.7% were the prevalence rates of the anxiety, depression, insomnia, and distress respectively. Moreover, quantile regression analysis was used to identify the factors related to the mental health variables of the back-to-Wuhan college students during the COVID-19 period. Conclusion The finding showed that the respondents who were near graduation, discriminated owing to the experience in Wuhan, and worried about the future trend of COVID-19 had a higher risk of becoming negative psychologic status, especially the bottom and median quantile, and might require more psycho-social interventions or support.

The mental health level of university students not only directly affects their own growth, but also affects the stability of the campus, which in turn affects the harmony of society and the improvement of the quality of all people. The combination of ideological education and mental health education is an important educational project in contemporary universities. To enhance the quality of psychological health education of college students can promote the overall development of students’ comprehensive quality; the two are closely integrated together, so as to successfully promote the effective combination of ideological education and psychological education, thus realizing the role of ideological education and psychological health education in promoting the physical and mental health development of contemporary college students. This paper explains the technology of data mining and the current situation of the psychological impact of Civic Education on college students and analyzes in depth the feasibility of introducing data mining technology in Civic Education to intervene in the psychological crisis of college students. The results show that the application of the technology provides a new idea for the mental health education of college students and a new way for the construction of a preventive college student mental health education model.

Using such methods as questionnaire survey and experimental study, a study has been made on the effects of yoga on female college students’ body shape, the quality of physical function, mental health and so on. Methods: The study sampled 25 2009 female students in Handan College who have selected the yoga course. These students will do yoga practice for 6 months. The body shape, body function and mental health will be tested before and after the exercise. The results show that: such four indicators as body weight, waist circumference, thigh circumference and upper arm circumference; such 6 indicators as vital capacity, heart rate, VO2, sit-ups, step test, and Sit and Reach and such indicators as mental health self-assessment questionnaire (SCL--90), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), and self-rating depression scale (SDS) have been improved significantly compared to those before practice. Conclusion: Through yoga practice, female college students can improve their physical health, balance physical and mental condition, and relieve stress, enhancing the quality of physical function and mental health.

Abstract Objectives The objective was to explore the influence of health behaviors on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) among college undergraduate students. Methods A convenience sample of college students completed an online survey consisting of the Center for Disease Control's HRQOL modules, perceived stress scale, sleep questionnaire, and the National Cancer Institute Fruit and Vegetable (FV) Screener. Body mass index (BMI) was calculated using self-reported height and weight. Independent t-test were used to compare HRQOL between students who consumed above/below average fruit and vegetable intake. Two multiple regression analyses were used to determine health factors that predicted better HRQOL. Results Participants (N = 655) were 19.8 ± 1.5 years old, female (63%), and white (84%). The average FV intake was 2.2 servings per day. Students who consumed more than the average intake of FV, reported more days/month (d/m) feeling healthy and full of energy (11.9 ± 8.6 vs. 8.9 ± 7.9, P < 0.001), and reported less d/m of poor mental health (8.5 ± 8.1 vs. 11.1 ± 9.8, P < 0.001) compared to those who consumed less than the average. Two predictors explained 38.5% of variance in d/m when mental health was not good (r2 = 0.38, F (2,639) = 200.11, P < 0.001): perceived stress (β = 0.61, P < 0.001) and FV intake (β = −0.08, P < 0.05). Four predictors explained 30.0% of the variance in d/m feeling happy and full of energy (r2 = 0.29, F (4,549) = 58.6, P < 0.001): perceived stress (β = −0.46, P < 0.001), BMI (β = −0.11, P < 0.01), FV intake (β = 0.16, P < 0.001), and hours of sleep (β = 0.08, P < 0.05). Conclusions This data shows that students who consumed above average FV intake reported more days of feeling happy and full of energy and less days of poor mental health, and that modifiable behaviors (FV intake, stress, sleep) impact HRQOL of young adults. This research provides justification for college aimed wellness interventions to include both nutrition education and mental health resources to improve overall HRQOL. Becoming an industrialized country is a necessary requirement for the Chinese nation to realize great rejuvenation, and it is also an important economy connotation to achieve the “Chinese Dream”. This paper holds that after the past 30 years' the rapid development of China since adopting reform and opening up policy, China's industrialization has been in its late stage now. China's industrialization, so far, has been developing into a great nation with a population of over one billion, and is advancing rapidly. It is now facing a highly unbalanced regional development. It is also a low-cost and export-oriented industrialization. This kind of industrialization is unprecedented in all of human history. The prospects of China's industrialization are bright. China, developing normally, could accomplish industrialization in 2025 to 2030 at the latest. However, the industrialization process may not be smooth. After the financial crisis, the third industrial revolution and servitization in manufacturing have been important trends in the global industrialization process, which would make for smooth progress of China's industrialization more difficult, and increasing the need for strategic adjustment of China's industrialization.

Since the reform and opening-up policy was implemented, Chinese higher education has experienced the process of recovery, adjustment, and rapid development; currently, the higher education has been popularized and the scale of Chinese higher education has been listed at the forefront in the world. However, compared to developed countries, there still exists great difference, and the “difficult employment” and “difficult recruitment” are good reflection. While the higher education is continuously enhanced, the structure of higher education is also continuously adjusted. At the initial stage of reform and opening-up, Chinese institutions of higher education mainly recruit undergraduate students; however, at current stage, the enrollment proportion is same; the postgraduate enrollment scale is also expanded; Chinese higher education has entered into transformation period.
