This study investigated American college students’ reading motivation. A total of 1,437 (533 male and 904 female) college students across interdisciplinary areas voluntarily participated in the study by completing a self-reported survey. Two major research questions were addressed in this study. The first question investigated American college students’ reading motivation by the Motivation for Reading Questionnaire (MRQ) variables of self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, and social motivation. The second question asked what variables influence American college students’ motivation to read by comparing gender, classification, age, race, language backgrounds, grades in major subjects and minor subjects. Descriptive analysis indicated that the mean scores of the extrinsic motivation scale (3.07) were higher than those of intrinsic motivation (3.05), self-efficacy (3.04) and social motivation (2.35) scales. A multiple linear regression statistical analysis confirmed that gender, age, classification, grade, race, and primary language were significant factors in college students’ motivation to read. The purpose of this study is to understand the objectification theory of semi-permanent makeup, which is used to generate and receive the dependence of MBSRQ-AS, Social Anxiety Scale (SIAS), Time Value with MBSRQ-AS and SIAS. The researcher used questionnaires to invite female college students and members of the public to answer. 234 valid questionnaires were taken. In the research, it can be seen that women with semi-permanent makeup on their faces save time for makeup every morning and improve semi-permanent makeup. Improve the self-confidence of body image (MBSRQ-AS), reduce social anxiety and improve time management. The results of this research provide objective and relevant information for our women when facing semi-permanent makeup, and confirm that semi-permanent makeup is a good first step for women's body, mind, and soul.

In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, various 4th industrial technologies are being used in the beauty industry. Therefore, education courses using the 4th industrial technology are needed for beauty education as well. Therefore, this study tried to apply to beauty education by empirically examining the perception of VR and expectations for VR applied beauty education among beauty major learners. A total of 106 beauty-related learners from 1st to 4th grade participated in the study. As a result of analyzing the perception of VR, there was a statistically significant difference according to the grades (p<.01), and the higher the grade, the higher the perception of VR. In addition, the perception of VR was found to have a statistically significant (p<.001) positive (+) correlation with educational, immersion, interest, and deviance by sub-factors of VR applied beauty education expectations. It was found that the higher the awareness, the higher the educational, immersive, interesting, and deviant factors of VR applied beauty education expectations. These results confirm the learners' expectations for the operation of beauty courses using VR and the necessity of developing VR-using beauty courses in the beauty education environment. Therefore, in beauty education, it is necessary to quickly realize the development and operation of beauty education courses using VR in line with the 4th industrial revolution era, thereby reviving the expectations of learners. For follow-up research, it is necessary to develop a VR-using beauty course or study after the course is operated.

The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial intention of college students in Surabaya. Purposive sampling was used towards 220 college students. The criteria of the samples were students who already took entrepreneurship subject for bachelor degree and entrepreneurship practicum for vocational studies. This study used Mann-Whitney U-Test through SPSS and partial least squares through SmartPLS. This study finds: 1) attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention, 2) entrepreneurship education has a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention,3) entrepreneurship education failed to moderate any of the theory of planned behavior variables effect toward entrepreneurial intention, 4) gender failed to moderate the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention, 5) there was no difference on the level of entrepreneurial intention between male and female college students, 6)  there was no difference on the level of entrepreneurial intention between bachelor degree and vocational studies students.

Although previous research has found the impact of fears of compassion on eating disorders, the mechanism underlying the relationship between fears of compassion and emotional eating remains to be examined. This study aimed to examine the mediating role of emotion regulation difficulties in the relationships between fears of compassion and emotional eating in college students, as well as the gender difference in the mediation model. The Fears of Compassion Scale, Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale, and Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire were completed by 673 college students in Fujian Province, China. Structural Equation Modeling was primarily employed to analyze the data. The results showed that both fear of compassion for self and fear of compassion from others were positively associated with emotion regulation difficulties, which in turn were related to emotional eating for female college students. Emotion regulation difficulties played a significant mediating effect in the relationship between fears of compassion and emotional eating. Comparatively, for male college students, only fear of compassion for self was positively associated with emotion regulation difficulties, but emotion regulation difficulties were not related to emotion eating. Moreover, the mediating effect of emotion regulation difficulties was not significant in the relationship between fears of compassion and emotion eating for male college students. The findings suggest that it is important to improve individuals’ fears of compassion to reduce emotional eating, particularly for female college students.

In the second year of the COVID-19 epidemic in the Southeast Asia (SE) regions, there is a plan to reopen the school, including the campus. Among students in Indonesia, college students have a population of almost 8.3 million. Considering the massive numbers of college students, school reopening should be supported by adequate COVID-19 vaccination. As a result, the first dose of the inactivated virus COVID-19 vaccine has been administered, including to college students aged over 18 years old. While COVID-19 vaccination is widely available, there is still a scarcity of information on post-vaccination symptoms. As reported from other locations, post vaccination has been reported. Then, this study aims to assess the common symptoms of COVID-19 1st dose vaccinations among the following groups: gender (male and female college students), age, body weight, and height. The observed symptoms include sore arms, fatigue, headache, fever with a body temperature above 38 oC, nausea, shivering, and muscle joint pain. Participants in this study were students at the university. They were considered eligible for this study if they were currently enrolled at university, were at least 19 years of age, and provided informed consent. The data was recorded using a standardized online questionnaire. The answers were collected in an online database. At the beginning of the questionnaire, subjects or students were informed that data would be collected anonymously. Based on the results, the symptoms were different between female and male students. In fact, female students have experienced more symptoms than male students. While male students only suffered sore arms (68%) followed by headache symptoms (32%). Similar to male students, sore arms are the most common symptom observed among female students. Among female students, from the most to the least common symptoms observed from 20 years of age in this study are sore arms at site reaction > headache > fatigue > fever > muscle joint pain > shivering > nausea. A higher risk of presenting fatigue and headache symptoms was found in those with a non-overweight status with weight ranges of 50-60 kg.
