The MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) mentioned by the government as the backbone of the Indonesian economy are also still many that have not been touched by financial services or are unbankable. Currently in line with the development of information technology in financial services, the Fintech P2P lending ecosystem and payment gateways are growing rapidly and become one of the cash less payment options, an alternative option for new types of financing due to multi-advantages; fast, collateral-free and technology-based process which is a culture of supporting MSME generation to 3.0. The Fintech P2P Lending and Payment gateway business that is oriented towards IT Base financial reporting still requires a risk management and governance system to reduce and minimize the risk of fraud, bankruptcy, default and other risks. The purpose of this research is to analyze and study innovative solutions to the Fintech business model platform related to protection system management by establishing a central and strategic role between the regulator and Fintech providers. This research uses descriptive research design by using GAP Analysis to research and develop and collaborate on innovation, especially in Fintech business operating systems.

Considering the existing funding conditionalities in India, the small and medium enterprises have to face stringent norms as sustainable financing requirements based on Environment, Society and Governance (ESG) disclosures are becoming mandatory for every organization worldwide. The onus still turns to be more intense than ever for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The main purpose of this paper is to warn SMEs of the upcoming sustainable financing conditionalities and develop a clear understanding among the SMEs on why they should adapt sustainable financing norms and be resilient towards sustainable financing and ESG disclosures.  This paper also tends to inspire SMEs for entrepreneurial growth by striking a balance between their financial requirements and mandatory obligations to benefit themselves, society and the Indian economy. Moreover, this paper focuses on the conceptual stipulation and early adaption of sustainable finance framework by the SMEs and strives to fathom the gap between the sustainable financing realities and the expected level of SMEs’ exposure  to sustainable financing and mandatory ESG disclosures. The research methodology identifies seven such areas interconnecting the sustainable financing and UN sustainable development goals (SDGs); Environment (Climate action & Carbon tax), Society (Sustainable Consumption & Externalities), Business (Sustainable Production) and Governance (Green finance, & ESG disclosures) and investigates to find the gap between the perception and expectation of SMEs about the mandatory requirements for sustainable financing and sustainability adaption in India.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs contribute to domestic economic growth. However, in the course of business, MSMEs still have obstacles. From the standpoint of internal, namely aspects of non-financial capacity such as management, personnel, marketing, and production, as well as financial aspects such as access to sources of financing, profitability management, and profit growth. External factors, namely political, economic, social, technological, and health situations, have an impact on the stability of business performance. Advances in technology, supported by infrastructure and ease of regulation, have encouraged the growth and development of digital-based businesses. This business coaching method focused on the activities at XYZ's Crackers Business, an Indonesian MSME. The purpose of this business coaching activity is to develop marketing channels for XYZ businesses. Data was collected through interviews, observations and surveys. The data is then collected and analyzed through Business Model Canvas analysis, SWOT and TOWS Business Model Canvas analysis, PESTEL analysis, market opportunity analysis (STP), Marketing Mix analysis, and Gap analysis. The solution obtained is to improve the business model, namely the channel element in the form of adding an online store through e-commerce.

This article describes the situation and potential of SMEs in East Java Indonesia. Small and medium enterprises are essential to support the economic progress of a country. By using descriptive analysis and multiple regression then generated mapping. Mapping the characteristics and competitiveness of SMEs is done as a basis for gap analysis. If the current condition of Indonesian SMEs is known, benchmarking can be done by comparing ideal conditions or targets to be achieved in the face of global competition. The mapping generated from this research is expected to provide an overall picture of SMEs in disrict of Jember, Bondosowo, Situbondo and Banyuwangi, East Java Province, Indonesia, so that it can assist government and business actors in determining business strategies and policies. This study found the variables that significantly affect the competitive position are innovation ability, quality focus, customer loyalty, response to change, price advantage and marketing power. While the insignificant membership of the cooperative, it does not have a significant role for the creation of a strong competitive position. This is supported by the fact that most of the SMEs in eastern Java are not members of the cooperative. Similarly, business status with legal status and not and the use of intermediary traders is not a thing that affects the strength of competitive position.

The article undertakes a gender analysis of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship in Japan to find out whether they affect gender inequality, women and economy; what women empowerment could bring to the development of SME, entrepreneurship and economy in Japan. To answer these questions the author uses gap analysis (gender wage gap, enterprise size wage gap, education wage gap) per industry in dynamics; international comparisons, institutional analysis, trend analysis, case studies, historical analysis and policy analysis. The research finds out that SMEs in Japan maintain higher level of inequality, comparing to large enterprises. Interlocked business relations between SME and large corporations (keiretsu) and employment structure are major and unique factors that exacerbate gender inequality in Japan. Tracing back how labor relations were organized in Japan, the research finds that the exclusion of women from lifetime employment was supposed to suit women’s best interests, however it resulted in subordinate position and economic dependence of women. Women’s entrepreneurship in Japan presents an area of untapped potentials that could effectively tackle a set of socio-economic problems and impact exponentially women empowerment in Japan. Women business in Japan proves to be effective and profitable and, what is more important, it has a “human face” and occupies (among others) vacant niche of social care, both optimizing and humanizing it. Finally, the research concludes that female entrepreneurship requires more attention and support from the government.

The limited number of workers also affects business performance, where the average number of operators is 1-3 people per MSME, so steps are needed to maintain business performance namely through business assistance by outsiders. The purpose of this research is to produce a new system in the form of a continuous business assistance model involving 5 elements Penta helix: government, academia, business, community, and business assistants. The method used is a case study, a literature study based on gap analysis of previous research.
