Euclidean algorithm is known by humanity for more than two thousand years. During this period many applications for it were found, covering different disciplines and music is one of those. Such algorithm application in music first appeared in 2005 when researchers found a correlation between world music rhythm and the Euclidean algorithm result, defining Euclidean rhythms as the concept.In the modern world, music could be created using many approaches. The first one being the simple analogue, the analogue signal is just a sound wave that emitted due to vibration of a certain medium, the one that is being recorded onto a computer hard drive or other digital storage called digital and has methods of digital signal processing applied. Having the ability to convert the analogue signal or create and modulate digital sounds creates a lot of possibilities for sound design and production, where sonic characteristics were never accessible because of limitations in sound development by the analogue devices or instruments, nowadays become true. Sound generation process, which usually consists of modulating waveform and frequency and can be influenced by many factors like oscillation, FX pipeline and so on. The programs that influence synthesised or recorded signal called VST plugins and they are utilising the concepts of digital signal processing.This paper aims to research the possible application of Euclidean rhythms and integrate those in the sound generation process by creating a VST plugin that oscillates incoming signal with one of the four basic wave shapes in order to achieve unique sonic qualities. The varying function allows modulation with one out of four basic wave shapes such as sine, triangle, square and sawtooth, depending on the value received from the Euclidean rhythm generator, switching modulating functions introduces subharmonics, with the resulting richer and tighter sound which could be seen on the spectrograms provided in the publication.

According to the trend of the intelligent monitoring system, on the basis of the study of gait recognition algorithm, the intelligent monitoring system is designed based on FPGA and DSP; On the one hand, FPGA’s flexibility and fast parallel processing algorithms when designing can be both used to avoid that circuit can not be modified after designed; On the other hand, the advantage of processing the digital signal of DSP is fully taken. In the feature extraction and recognition, Zernike moment is selected, at the same time the system uses the nearest neighbor classification method which is more mature and has good real-time performance. Experiments show that the system has high recognition rate.

The teeth of ordinary spur and helical gears are generated by a (virtual) rack provided with planar generating surfaces. The resulting tooth surface shapes are a circle-involute cylinder in the case of spur gears, and a circle-involute helicoid for helical gears. Advantages associated with involute geometry are well known. Beveloid gears are often regarded as a generalization of involute cylindrical gears involving one additional degree-of-freedom, in that the midplane of their (virtual) generating rack is inclined with respect to the axis of the gear being generated. A peculiarity of their generation process is that the motion of the generating planar surface, seen from the fixed space, is a rectilinear translation (while the gear blank is rotated about a fixed axis); the component of such translation that is orthogonal to the generating plane is the one that ultimately dictates the shape of the generated, envelope surface. Starting from this basic fact, we set out to revisit this type of generation-by-envelope process and to profitably use it to explore peculiar design layouts, in particular for the case of motion transmission between skew axes (and intersecting axes as a special case). Analytical derivations demonstrate the possibility of involute helicoid profiles (beveloids) transmitting motion between skew axes through line contact and, perhaps more importantly, they lead to the derivation of designs featuring insensitivity of the transmission ratio to all misalignments within relatively large limits. The theoretical developments are confirmed by various numerical examples.

Therefore, maintaining international economic security requires new approaches and a new level of interstate interaction. The Russian Federation is in such a situation, which determines the need for research and implementation of a scientifically based security system.

Through an examination of the labels Hear Music and Putumayo and their place in coffee shops and retail stores on the one hand, and of world music scholarship on the other, I argue that listening to world music in public spaces demands new theoretical perspectives. The kinds of tourism that take place in listening to world music inattentively suggest a kind of bi-location. Borrowing from quantum mechanics, I suggest that the term ‘entanglement’ might offer some insight into this bi-location and the ‘distributed tourism’ that I argue is taking place.

The purpose of submitted Article is to indicate the character of the challenges related to migrations, their selected forms and influence on Transatlantic community states security . Thesis stipulates that the phenomenon of migrations in the first half of the 21st century more and more strongly defines the context of social security of states implying Transatlantic bonds and international actions taken or not undertaken in their formula. One can assume that migrations, in addition to political and military as well as economic issues, will be the one of domains of NATO security management. Due to the fact that the modern world is in the context of globalization, the development of the countries of the world is accompanied by a qualitative increase in technology in the field of science and technology, in connection with which, there is an internationalization of scientific developments, high-tech production, as well as competition between countries over the distribution of resources is intensifying, in terms of new developments and development in general. Cooperation in itself bears the potential of mutual assistance, joint solution of a set of international, scientific problems by the participating countries. For this reason, modern scientific cooperation is a consequence of well-built scientific diplomacy. Scientific diplomacy is called upon to promote the development of scientific cooperation; it is aimed at maintaining partner diplomatic relations, which, on the one hand, can use science to bring together interstate priorities, and, on the other hand, contribute to the development of science itself. The latest diplomacy has adopted scientific approaches and is actively solving modern challenges facing governments and countries. The article discusses the work of international organizations in the designated area of research, provides Kazakhstani experience in resolving the issue

The article justifies for the need to identify and to keep track, in practice, of different groups of risks inherent in educational institutions under current conditions of pandemic and post-pandemic transformation of education under the influence of modern world uncertainty. Transformation of education functions in the epoch of digital economy changes the content and types of risks concomitant to the activities carried out by schools. Schools belong to the most conservative types of organizations. However, the environment in which schools operate is constantly changing. An educational institution, as any enterprise, has to engage in the activity aimed at risk management. Manifestation of the risk is, on the one hand, fraught with threats and damage, on the other hand, with opportunities. Assessment of possible threats and risks allows timely projection of undesirable results, creation of a system for situational response to unforeseen circumstances and, in the final analysis, formulation of a strategy for development of the university which would allow achievement of modern high quality education, its fundamentality and conformity to important topical requirements of the personality, society and state. Causes of developing risks characteristic of educational institutions are disclosed. External and internal risks characteristic of educational institutions, sources generating them and the importance of managing them are analyzed. The analysis of risks made reveals multi-varied threats and opportunities in the external and internal envi-ronment of the institution and their ability to have a significant effect on educational, organizational and financial activities of the schools.

Direct Conversion Receiver is the choice of the today’s designer for low power compact wireless receiver. DCR is attractive due to low power, small size and highly monolithic integratable structure, but distortions affect its performance.  I/Q mismatch is the one of the major distortion which is responsible for performance degradation.  In this paper, a novel method for Direct Conversion Receiver is suggested, which makes it insensitive to the I/Q mismatch. Here the classical homodyne architecture is modified to nullify effect of I/Q mismatch. The proposed method can be implemented in the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) back-end section also.  This feature makes it acceptable in the already designed/functioning classical homodyne architecture based receiver.

The political scene in South Africa today is perhaps one of the most complex in the modern world. The easiest analysis would be to have the white minority government on the one hand, and the back resistance and liberation organizations ranged against it on the other. Unfortunately, it is not that easy. The white minority itself is torn by divisions and differences in ideology, with essentially two divisions into the right-wing and the centrists. Both camps, however, are themselves divided into various notches on the scale to the right, but never beyond to the left of centrist. That position has been reserved for black politics, which is also positioned at various points on the scale to the left.
