El avance de la tecnología digital ha permitido concebir Sistemas de Vigilancia Epidemiológicos (SVE) automatizados con un enfoque <em>holístico-sistémico</em> favoreciendo la planeación, operación, gestión y procesamiento de datos fitosanitarios de manera efectiva y oportuna para toma de decisiones en la prevención y manejo regional de plagas. Este tipo de sistemas se enfocan en la salud del cultivo superando la visión reduccionista de plaga en la vigilancia normativa convencional. Un SVE web implica la definición clara del marco regional, objetivos, plaga(s) en su amplia acepción, recursos humanos/financieros, contexto normativo, líneas de investigación de soporte, estructura operativa y modelos de innovación. Estos elementos determinan la precisión, frecuencia y tipo de muestreo y monitoreo, así como las variables de medición relativas a un novel<em> sistema epidemiológico</em>. A diferencia de la vigilancia normativa, un SVE web <em>holístico-sistémico</em> tiene capacidad descriptiva y de pronóstico de riesgos, incluyendo alertas tempranas a partir de análisis espaciales y temporales. La interfaz web SVE asegura la generación flexible y dinámica de reportes y/o análisis automatizados. Un SVE operado en plataformas web, con énfasis en lenguajes de programación y herramientas de uso libre puede ser alojado en servidores genéricos o dedicados para almacenamiento de metadatos configurados con tecnologías Linux/Apache y funcionalidad 24/7 (h día-1). Programas de uso libre incluyen MySQL/MariaDB y otros como gestores de bases de datos; PHP / Node.js, y JavaScript, Ajax, HTML5 y CSS, como tecnologías web de maquetado base ‘back-end’ y ‘front-end’, respectivamente. Esta revisión se enfoca en principios, atributos conceptuales, enfoques metodológicos generales y objetivos de SVE base web. Aplicaciones generales se ilustran con un SVE desarrollado en México para el cafeto (<em>Coffea</em> spp.), el cual permitió operar la vigilancia de 19 plagas, nueve con estatus cuarentenario, mediante la generación, gestión y análisis de 87.4 y 15.7 millones de registros climáticos y epidemiológicos, respectivamente, obtenidos entre 2013-2019.

La dinámica empresarial actual exige a los emprendimientos implementar procesos de innovación para generar valor para los clientes, ganar competitividad y ser sostenibles en el mercado. Este trabajo realiza un diagnóstico de las actividades, capacidades y resultados de innovación y la relación con los factores de competitividad de los emprendimientos del sector no financiero popular y solidario que permita comprender la realidad actual y la base para la toma de decisiones futuras incidiendo en el crecimiento empresarial. La investigación es no experimental de enfoque cuantitativo y correlacional para el cual se aplicaron encuestas a los presidentes de 68 emprendimientos del cantón Quito entre marzo y junio de 2020. En los resultados, predominó el nivel medio de innovación y de competitividad; en la capacidad de innovación, se destaca el aprendizaje organizacional. En innovación tecnológica, se evidencia la mejora en la calidad de productos y nuevos métodos productivos; en innovación no tecnológica, se han implementado nuevos canales de comunicación, comercialización y nuevas prácticas empresariales. En competitividad, los emprendimientos están enfocados en recursos humanos y comercialización. Se evidencia una correlación positiva fuerte entre innovación y competitividad.

Jenis gas LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) ukuran 3 kg hanya diperuntukkan bagi masyarakat miskin dan pelaku UKM, tetapi jenis gas ini juga dinikmati oleh masyarakat yang mampu dan pelaku industry. Hal ini terjadi karena tidak adanya sistem pengawasan yang terkomputerisasi mengenai pendistribusian gas LPG 3 kg yang dilakukan oleh agen dan pangkalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi pendistribusian gas LPG 3 kg di PT.P(Persero) Gorontalo berbasis web. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model Prototype. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem aplikasi yang memberikan hak akses bagi admin untuk dapat menginputkan data yang dibutuhkan seperti data pelanggan, data pangkalan, data distribusi ke pangkalan dan data distribusi ke pelanggan. Sistem ini juga dapat mempermudah pihak agen dalam proses pendistribusian gas LPG 3 kg dan membantu PT.P(Persero) Gorontalo dalam proses pengawasan. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in 3kg packaging is reserved actually for poor and SMEs, yet the gas is also utilized by well-off people and business owners. This occurs because of the absence of computerized surveillance systems of the gas distribution by the agent and outlet. This study aimed to develop a web-based system of 3kg Liquefied Petroleum Gas information distribution in PT.P(Persero) Gorontalo; a prototype model was used to develop the system. This research resulted in a system that provides access rights for administrators to be able to input required data, such as customer data, outlet data, outlet distribution data, and customer distribution data. The systems also help the process of 3kg Liquefied Petroleum Gas distribution and PT.P(Persero) Gorontalo in terms of the supervision process.

Penguasaan terhadap Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi perlu diajarkan pada semua tingkatan agar suatu proses dan kegiatan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih cepat, mudah dan efisien. Para siswa kelas XII SMK Taruna Bangsa dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang dapat dikuasai sebelum lulus sekolah. Salah satunya kompetensi adalah dapat membuat website atau aplikasi berbasis web. Disamping itu, kepala program jurusan RPL SMK Taruna Bangsa menyampaikan perlu adanya pendalaman dan pengetahuan lebih dalam pembuatan website selain yang dibekali di sekolah seperti mendesain website front end. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan mendesain website menggunakan framework Bootstrap. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dijalankan sesuai dengan wujud implementasi MoU yang telah dilakukan antara SMK Taruna Bangsa dengan Universitas Bina Insani. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dilakukan secara online melalui media konferensi www.zoom.us dan www.youtube.com. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 78 peserta dengan hasil akhir memberikan hasil yang positif, ditunjukkan pada umpan balik peserta terhadap materi yaitu pada nilai 4 (Baik) sebesar 32,1% dan nilai 5 (Sangat Baik) sebesar 60.7%. Berdasarkan paparan tersebut kegiatan PkM ini telah memberikan kemampuan dan penguasaan terhadap siswa dalam mendesain website dan memiliki bekal dalam mengimplementasikan pada bidang Teknologi informasi yang pada akhirnya mendorong smart education kota Bekasi. Kata kunci—bootstrap, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, website Mastery of Information and Communication Technology needs to be taught at all levels so that processes and activities can be carried out more quickly, easily and efficiently. Class XII students of SMK Taruna Bangsa are required to have competencies that can be mastered before graduating from school. One of the competencies is being able to create a website or web-based application. In addition, the head of the RPL department program at SMK Taruna Bangsa said that there is a need for more in-depth and knowledge in making websites other than those provided in schools such as designing front end websites. Therefore, training in designing websites using the Bootstrap framework is necessary. The implementation of Community Service (PkM) is carried out in accordance with the implementation of the MoU that has been carried out between SMK Taruna Bangsa and Bina Insani University. The implementation of activities during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out online through the media conference www.zoom.us and www.youtube.com. This activity was attended by 78 participants with the final result giving positive results, shown in the participants' feedback on the material, namely a value of 4 (Good) of 32.1% and a value of 5 (Very Good) of 60.7%. Based on the explanation, this PkM activity has given students the ability and mastery in designing websites and has provisions in implementing it in the field of information technology which ultimately encourages smart education in the city of Bekasi. Non-typhoidal Salmonella (NTS) represents a leading cause of food-borne disease worldwide. It is a global public health concern: more than 94 million cases and 115,000 deaths are reported every year, with a disproportionate impact in developing countries. The prevalence of multi-drug-resistant (MDR) Salmonella strains is another major health concern which affects antimicrobial treatment, as many studies report that infections caused by MDR strains are more severe than those caused by susceptible strains. In Algeria, NTS represent one of the primary causes of salmonellosis in both humans and food animal production, especially poultry. Epidemiological surveillance systems and monitoring programs for Salmonella infections are essential requirements to provide data useful for the effective detection and control of Salmonella outbreaks. The present review will supply a perspective on NTS infection, pathogenesis and antimicrobial resistance with a focus on the epidemiology of salmonellosis in Algeria.

AbstractProgramming environments have evolved from purely text based to using graphical user interfaces, and now we see a move toward web-based interfaces, such as Jupyter. Web-based interfaces allow for the creation of interactive documents that consist of text and programs, as well as their output. The output can be rendered using web technology as, for example, text, tables, charts, or graphs. This approach is particularly suitable for capturing data analysis workflows and creating interactive educational material. This article describes SWISH, a web front-end for Prolog that consists of a web server implemented in SWI-Prolog and a client web application written in JavaScript. SWISH provides a web server where multiple users can manipulate and run the same material, and it can be adapted to support Prolog extensions. In this article we describe the architecture of SWISH, and describe two case studies of extensions of Prolog, namely Probabilistic Logic Programming and Logic Production System, which have used SWISH to provide tutorial sites.

University portals are emerging all over the world. Portals have been perceived by many people as the technologies that are designed to enhance work and learning processes at university by making workflows simpler and information more readily available in a form in which it can be processed (Franklin, 2004). There are many benefits for having a portal in a university. First, the portal makes it easy for people to find university information targeted specifically at them. Instead of the user searching the Web for information, a person identifies himself or herself to the portal, and the portal brings all relevant information to that person. Secondly, the portal uses a single consistent Web-based front end to present information from a variety of back-end data sources. Although information about people is stored in many different databases at a university, the role of a portal is to put a consistent face to this information so that visitors do not have to deal with dozens of different Web interfaces to get their information. Usability is an important issue when designing the university portal. Principles from human computer interaction must be included in the design of portals.

There are many tools available for analyzing MATSim transport simulation results, both open-source and commercial. This research builds a new open-source visualization platform for MATSim outputs that is entirely web-based. After initial experiments with many different web technologies, a client-server platform design emerges which leverages the advanced user interface capabilities of modern browsers on the front-end, and relies on back-end server processing for more processor-intensive tasks. The initial platform is now operational and includes several aggregate-level visualizations including origin–destination flows, transit supply, and emissions levels as well as a fully disaggregate traffic animation visualization. These visualizations are general enough to be useful for various projects. Further work is needed to make them more compelling and the platform more useful for practitioners.
