The article is devoted to the history of the Department of Faculty Therapy, N.N. Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University. The history of its creation is inextricably linked to the Derpth (Yurievsky) University that was transferred to Voronezh in 1918. While the Department of Faculty Therapy remained in Voronezh, it several times changed location making use of various city hospitals as its branches. It simultaneously expanded its activities by organizing courses of physical therapy, endocrinology, and other medical disciplines. The article focuses on the events pertaining to the formation and development of the Department of Faculty Therapy, main directions and achievements of its scientific work.

The article discusses the introduction of the process of training lawyers with higher education in Uzbekistan by the Soviet authorities. For the establishment and development of Soviet power in the country, as in other areas, the training of lawyers becamea necessity. Initial attempts to train lawyers, problems in the organization of the educational process and the general picture of the higher education institution were covered on the basis of available archival data. The policy of the Sovietstate on thetraining of lawyers was analyzed on the example of the first higher education institution in the country. The article also discusses the one-sided policy pursued by the ruling party in the training of lawyers, the establishment of political criteria for the admission of students and its consequences

In this article, international academic mobility is reviewed as one of the key tools in the process of internationalization of higher education on the example of the experience of Kharkiv National Medical University. The main stages in formation of the system of academic mobility in a higher education institution are recovered. There was an analysis made regarding the risks associated with the establishment of the mobility process and the peculiarities of creating exchange programs for students in accordance with the current needs of higher medical education was made.

No âmbito da História da Educação, a pesquisa sobre história das instituições educacionais estabeleceu-se como um dos ramos em que existe maior produção historiográfica, ao mesmo tempo que ainda existe uma grande demanda de instituições a serem investigadas. A Escola de  Agronomia eVeterinária Eliseu Maciel constitui-se em um estabelecimento educacional de renomada importância para a cidade de Pelotas (RS). A presente pesquisa analisa a história dessa instituição durante a Primeira República, utilizando-se de fotografias e textos divulgados na imprensa local. O objetivo dessa investigação reside em evidenciar a estreita relação entre essa instituição e a elite econômica e social pelotense. Além disso, estudar em que estrutura e contexto histórico se dava o ensino agronômico nas primeiras décadas do século XX.

This paper attempts to look at the history of the establishment of an Islamic high institution based on the spirit of mutual understanding, unification, and cooperation in the process of strategic planning of Muslims in Southern Thailand. This paper is also to show that the teachings of Islam and its colleges are comprehensive (syumul) and not all that brought by modernized currents are rejected by Islam. The purpose of this study in addition to analyzing the history of the establishment of Islamic university institutions in Southern Thailand, the author tries to read the history of the establishment of an Islamic higher education institution in Pattani, to impact the history of manifestation and development in the field of Islamic universities that became the basic for the construction of  muslims realized in the program and aspect of socio-economic reform of the ummah which is also part of Islamic dakwah. This review will examine the history of Islamic education grow that occurred at the Islamic University of Islamic College Songkla Nakharin University Pattani  South Thailand. As such, this review will be an important guide and reference for colleges, Islamic college centers and institutions of  Islamic universities in Thailand and especially the Islamic College of  Islamic University of Songkla Nakharin University Pattani campus, Thailand.

This paper celebrates the centenary of Queen Mary College’s involvement in aeronautics, a celebration with a unique distinction since it was this College’s immediate forebear which was the first British higher education institution to begin teaching and research in this subject. Thus the emphasis is on the early years from 1907 until the 1950s, a period ripe for recording before it recedes beyond living memory, but also the period during which the degree course in aeronautical engineering became firmly established and its parent Department acquired its reputation for research. Section 2.0 gives a brief history of the College’s origins in the East London College. Subsequent sections deal with the foundation of the aeronautical laboratory there, from which the aeronautical department grew, and the activities of the two men who led these developments, A.P. Thurston and N.A.V. Tonnstein who changed his name to Piercy.

The article deals with stress as a physiological reaction of a person that occurs when the body responds to the extreme demands of the environment. When talking about stress, most often mean professional stress associated with problems at work, school, administrative or dispatching service, retirement, physical stress, family problems or the death of a loved one. The concept of stress means complete exhaustion after hard work, a long stay in an unfavorable environment, in fear, a state exceeding the strength of man. Studying at a higher education institution is stressful for most students. Starting from the very beginning of educational activity, stress to some extent constantly pursues the student and is the cause of violations of behavioral, emotional, cognitive, motivational spheres of activity.

Educational system is the most important social institution, which provides the development of a personality and frames his/her worldview and the conception of subjective well-being. Despite the large number of studies on the issue of psychological and pedagogical security of educational environment, the sphere of higher education still remains underexplored. The available empiric material has not received sufficient methodological justification and conceptualization. This article aims to provide the conceptualization of the risk category as applied to the educational environment of a higher education institution, as well as empiric investigation of the risks within the educational environment as viewed by applicants and students.Materials and methods. 213 applicants and 547 students of the Kuban State Technological University took part in the survey. The following investigation methods were used: expert assessment, interview, questioning, content analysis, analysis of means method, cluster analysis and factor analysis.Investigation results. Comparative examination of the manifestation degree of risks within the educational environment as viewed by applicants and students of higher education institution showed significant differences in the assessment of risk by these groups of respondents. From the point of view of applicants, the main risks are connected with social and psychological aspects of the educational environment of a higher education institution, relations within student groups and interaction with teachers, as well as with the issues related to the educational management and leisure arrangement. As viewed by the students, the risks within the educational environment include external and social and psychological risk factors, motivating risks and risks arising from the learning process organization and management and the related issues. Applicants’ notion of the risks within the educational environment of a higher education institution was mainly influenced by information they received from media and by the opinion of their relatives and age mates.Consideration and conclusions. It was proved that the applicants’ idea of the risks within the educational environment of a higher education institution is determined by the opinion of people they know personally, however it changes during the process of studying in higher education institution and acquiring their own experience of being within the environment. The investigation results allow creating a model of psychological and pedagogical security within the educational environment of a higher education institution. This model makes it possible to forecast main risks of the educational environment, their development, and evolvement and find solution to them.
