The article analyzed the peculiarities of the interpretation of the «communication culture» in the context of scientific researches of the past and contemporary domestic researchers. An analysis was carried out to define the concept of «communication culture of a person», the approaches to the definition of this concept are singled out. The positions of scientists concerning the role of eloquence in the formation of the linguistic personality are analyzed, the language is analyzed as a «social and psychological phenomenon», historical conditions of the formation of the concept of «communication culture» are characterized, in particular, attention is focused on the formation of the linguistic personality. It was found out that studies of the ancient traditions of the formation of the language of culture make it possible to better understand modern trends in the development of the person's communication culture. Modern studies have shown that in linguistics for a long time there was no unity in the interpretation of the concepts of «language» and «communication». Problems of the formation of the culture of broadcasting have become the object of research by eminent thinkers, beginning with the period of Antiquity. The question of the formation of a culture of speech has long traditions. Note that in European linguistics, the first decades of the twentieth century. Theoretical study and approval of the concept of «culture of language» in the scientific circulation is underway. It should be noted that in connection with the introduction of information and communication technologies in all spheres of society life has increased interest in the theory and practice of eloquence. This is explained by the fact that the active use of information and communication technologies involves the search for ways of speaking influence, both on the interpersonal and on the public level. According to authoritative experts in rhetoric, L. Matsko, O. Matsko, N. Mykhailychenko, V. Poltupets, etc., there are also communicative reasons that ensure the actual and further development of the theory and practice of oratory in the XX-beginning of the XXI century.

A great deal of the literature on virtual communities evolves around classifying the phenomenon1 while much empirically constructive work on the topic has not been conducted yet. Therefore, the research discussed in this paper proposes to explore the actual field of the virtual community (VC). By means of a comparative ethnographic research, virtual communities are to be defined in terms of their inherent social activity, the interaction between the groups of people and the information and communication technology (ICT), and the meanings attached to it by its members. This chapter will report on the initial propositions, research questions and approach of the explorative research of working towards a “workable definition” of virtual communities. It will also present its “work to be done” which will ultimately form the basis of moving beyond defining virtual communities, i.e., actually designing and deploying one.

AbstractThis article reflects on some of the major changes in the ways that people are working today, changes often driven by a preference for greater autonomy and choice, but also to work on a sharing, collaborative or networked basis. Many of the growing numbers of independent professionals are attracted by these ways of working. Developments in Information and Communication Technology have been critical, especially in enabling services, including professional services, to be delivered via internet platforms. This has created, in effect, new forms of intermediation and increasingly complex work relationships. These developments have often proved very controversial, as instanced by the disputes surrounding Uber, the international, internet-based taxi provider. Many of these changes also raise issues of accountability and work quality, along with creating new patterns of work relationships. Inevitably, the changes also highlight the role of regulation, which is the main focus of this article The topic is explored against a backdrop of much recent deregulation, challenges to so-called ‘red tape’ and laissez faire policies. The myriad of disputes and litigation involving Uber is examined and reflected upon. There are, of course, many differences between the taxi drivers of Uber and the designers, journalists, engineers and consultants, typical of independent professional working, but there are also some key parallels and experiences that provide a cautionary tale!

Relevance of the problem: The concept of lifelong learning is the leading educational and political strategy of the advanced countries around the world. Attracting adults into training helps to cope with life crises, enhances their well-being and health, contributes to their personal development, social activity, and cultural growth. This eventually determines the economic and social well-being of the entire society. But in Ukraine the implementation of this model is not fully effective, which fact entails a scientific discussion. Aim: to analyze the ways of introducing adult education in Ukraine and in the world; to determine the ways of forming professional and life competencies in the qualified psychological community. Methods: analysis of documentation that governs the implementation of the lifelong learning concept in the European Union and in Ukraine; a written survey of psychologists (131 persons with professional experience of 3 to 35 years) concerning specific ways of expanding and deepening of competencies; content analysis, frequency analysis, phenomenological method. Research results. The main mission of the lifelong learning is the expansion and renewal of life prospects in the framework of the transformational social environment. The leading role in these processes belongs to the individuals themselves: their cognitive activity, responsibility for building their own life paths, the ability to learn. Governmental and public institutions create opportunities for education in various forms that are tailored to individual interests and capabilities. In Ukraine, similarly to other countries, adult learning is actively taking place in formal, informal, and independent education, but the form and content, the theoretical and normative substantiation is considerably lagging behind the experience of the advanced countries. The survey of psychologists has demonstrated a steady need for a lifelong learning, which has a professional specificity according to the field of activity. Further education has a beneficial effect on professional career, as well as on psychological well-being and social processes. However, cognitive activity is occurring in a spontaneous, not in a planned way; it is difficult for professionals to find educational offers meeting their needs.
