Introduction: Sexual health problems in adolescents are increasing every year. Sexual aspects of adolescence such as free sex, unwanted pregnancy, abortions, high rape, sexual harassment, circulation of pornographic contents are today. SEM is a short film that contains a learning process with a duration of less than 50 minutes. Health education with media SEM (Short Educaation Movie) the aims of this research was to analyze the effect of health education on adolescent knowledge and attitudes about free sex.Methods: Design of this research used the Quasy Experiment. The population in this study were all students of Darma Siswa Vocational High School amounted to 182 students. The sample size in this study was 124 samples consisted of students of Darma Siswa Vocational High School class X. The independent variable in this research was health education with the media Short Education Movie (SEM). The dependent variable in this study is adolescent knowledge and attitudes about free sex. The inclusion criteria are students of class X, aged 15-16 years. Exclusion criteria are students who do not enter school and students who follow the practice outside of school, students who are taking part in the national exam preparation. Data were collected using a questionnaire, then analyzed data with the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test and Mann Whitney U Test.Results: The results of this study found that knowledge and attitudes of students of Darma Siswa Vocational High School increased after being given health education with the media Short Education Movie (SEM) with a significance value of p=0,000.Conclusion: Short Education Movie (SEM) is a health education media that can improve adolescent knowledge and attitudes about free sex and provide appropriate information through health education.

According to Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation Number 52 of 2017, health development is aimed at increasing awareness, willingness and ability to live healthy for everyone so that the highest degree of public health can be realized as an investment for the development of productive human resources. This research is Quasy experiment with one-group-pretest and posttest without a control group which describes the effect of health education through the HIV/AIDS booklet media on adolescent behaviour. The population were 71 people, and all were as the sample. Based on the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, the significance value is 0.000 <.05. Based on the multivariate analysis with the MANOVA test, it was found that the attitude variable (R-Square = .773) was the variable that had the strongest correlation with the experiment giving the HIV/AIDS booklet media. The results showed the effect of health education through the HIV/AIDS Booklet Media on changes in adolescent behaviour for HIV/AIDS prevention, indicated by an increase in knowledge, attitudes and actions before and after the distribution of HIV/AIDS booklets. Increasing the implementation of HIV/AIDS socialization activities for vocational high school youth by providing education using media tailored to educational targets, one of which is the HIV/AIDS booklet media for vocational high school students and students as a preventive effort in reducing HIV/AIDS cases among vocational high school adolescents so that teenagers in this school become liaison information related to HIV/AIDS to adolescents in other schools.

The aim of this study is to determine effects of the Project-Based (PBL) STEM (Science Technology, Engineering Mathematics) education on academic achievements and career interests of vocational high school students. Pretest-posttest design, one group of pre-trial model, was used in the study. The participants of the research consisted of 18 students in eleventh-grade at the furniture department of vocational high school. Quantitative data collection tools were used to gather the data for the study. “STEM Achievement Test” and “STEM Career Interest Scale” were applied to the students as pretest and posttest. The data obtained from the achievement test and carrier interest test were analyzed by using non-parametric Wilcoxon signed-rank test with SPSS 16.0 software. It was found at the end of the study that, students improved significantly their academic achievement in the furniture design course and developed career interests in a positive direction.

Self-efficacy has an important role related to students' self-understanding. Lack of student self-understanding can result in students committing crimes, so it is essential to recognize and understand the potential of the student's self. This study aims to produce an innovation related to the media in guidance and counseling using blog-based self-understanding media to improve student self-efficacy. This research uses the Borg and Gall method, which has been simplified into five stages by the Puslitjaknov Team, but this research is limited to small scale tests. Pre-experimental research design: one-group pretest-posttest design using purposive random sampling involving ten students. Research findings show that blog-based self-understanding is useful for increasing student self-efficacy.

Abstract Implementation of demonstration method in the teaching of chemistry is assigned as the right strategy to improve students’ achievement as it is proved that the method can bring an abstract concept to reality in the class. The study is conducted to vocational high school students in SMKN1 Pargetteng getteng Sengkut Pakfak Barat at accademic year 2013. The teaching has been carried out three cycles on the teaching of chemistry topic of colloid system. In the study, the class is divided into two class, experiment class and control class. The demontration method is used to teach students in experimental class while the teaching in control class is conducted with lecture method. Both are evaluated by using multiple choise tests before and after the teaching procedures, and the ability of students to answer the problems are assigned as students’ achievements. The results showed that demonstration method improved students’ achievement in chemistry. The students in experimental class who are taughed with demonstration method (M=19.08±0.74) have higher achievements compare with control class (M=12.91±2.52), and both are significantly different (tcalculation 22.85 > ttable 1.66). The effectivity of demostration method in experimental class (97%) is found higer compare to conventional method in control class (91%).
