This study aims to analyze the policy of late charge elimination applied to PT Bank BNI Syariah. This policy was initiated at the year of 2016 which predictably lead to the inclination of problematic financing at BNI Syariah. This study provides evaluation and recommendation for policy implementation to reduce the number of problematic financing. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The research instrument used was through the interview process with BNI Syariah and the DSN (Dewan Syari‟ah Nasional/ Read: National Board of Islamic Law) of MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia/ Read: Indonesian Muslim Scholars Council). The results of the study reveals that the application of a fine-elimination policy was applied because of bank doubts about the application of fines to sharia and fines that have no effect on the bank’s income. PT Bank BNI Syariah uses persuasive policies and still applies the ta'widh policy after the application of the fine is eliminated. This policy has a positive impact on marketing but is still vulnerable to an increase in the level of Non Performing Financing (NPF).

While microcredentials and open digital badges have become increasingly popular in education, more research is needed to better understand their implementation and benefits to both issuers and users. In this paper, we use a case study approach to report and discuss the outcomes from the implementation of an open badges program at National Instruments, highlighting the effects this program has had on both National Instruments and its users. As the program evolves to better meet the needs of its stakeholders, we find that both participants (badge earners) and the issuer (National Instruments) see potential value in the National Instruments Badging Program. The value for both seems to stem from the way in which the program enables the sharing of badges, which helps the earner establish their skills/reputation while also increasing awareness of the program for National Instruments. This study adds to our understanding of why an organization may find value in offering open microcredentials as an alternative to traditional professional development and certificates for their customers and employees.

Abstract: Waste is generated by humans from a production process, both industrial and household. Waste is what’s left over from daily activities and is considered useless. However, when waste is recycled and reprocessed into something useful, waste obtains an economic value again. And so, piles of waste are simultaneously changed not only into arenas where the poor compete, but also into arenas where humans prey on each other. On piles of waste, we find never-ending poverty, which is prepared by the state and permitted by the Church. On piles of waste, we find an enduring culture of poverty.Using qualitative methods and a case-study approach, this study aims to uncover the practice of enduring poverty in the town of Maumere. Keywords: waste, scavengers, culture of impoverishment. Abstrak: Sampah adalah buangan yang dihasilkan manusia dari suatu proses produksi, baik industri maupun rumah tangga.
