Abstract This article discusses the educational module of muallaf in Malaysia. Some modules that have been implemented in several academic institutions such as Darul Hidayah MAIWP Education Module, Hidayah Centre Education Module, Baitussalam Education Module, PERKIM Islamic Da'wah Institute (IDIP) and Islamic Studies Institute, National PERKIM Islamic Studies Class and Sabah Islamic Institute and Da'wah Institute (IPDAS). The method used in this study is in the form of quality through library research and analyzed using content analysis and comparison by looking at the modules of muallaf education centres that have been used. The analysis of this muallaf module is fundamental to see the suitability of the level and ability and effectiveness of the convert to follow the syllabus that has been provided. The results of the study found that there is a syllabus that has been drafted over for 5 years and needs to be re-evaluated so that it can be updated and in line with current changes and needs. This writing will be an essential reference for institutions, researchers as well as the country. Keywords: Syllabus, Muallaf Education, Levels & Content   Abstrak Penulisan ini membincangkan tentang modul pendidikan muallaf di Malaysia. Beberapa modul yang telah dilaksanakan di beberapa institusi pendidikan muallaf seperti Modul Pendidikan Darul Hidayah MAIWP, Modul Pendidikan Hidayah Centre, Modul Pendidikan Baitussalam, Institut Dakwah Islamiah PERKIM (IDIP) dan Institut Pengajian Islam, Kelas Pengajian Islam PERKIM Kebangsaan dan Institut Pengajian Islam dan Dakwah Sabah (IPDAS). Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah berbentuk kualitatif melalui kajian perpustakaan serta dianalisis menggunakan analisis kandungan dan perbandingan dengan melihat kepada modul-modul pusat pendidikan muallaf yang telah digunakan. Analisa terhadap modul muallaf ini sangat penting untuk melihat kesesuaian tahap dan kemampuan serta keberkesanan muallaf untuk mengikuti silibus yang telah disediakan. Hasil kajian mendapati terdapat silibus yang telah dirangka melebihi tempoh 5 tahun dan perlu kepada penilaian semula agar ia dapat dikemas kini dan sejajar dengan perubahan dan keperluan semasa. Penulisan ini akan menjadi rujukan penting kepada institusi, penyelidik serta kepada negara. Kata kunci: Silibus, Pendidikan Muallaf, Tahap & Kandungan

Abstract This article discusses the findings of a study that measures the level of religiosity of students who participated in a tauhidic science education program for six months. The study aims to gauge the worldview and personality of students after being exposed with science education interdisciplinary with Islamic religious education. This study employs the set of Muslim Religiosity Personality Index (MRPI). Based on the findings of this study, this group of students has a moderate level of Islamic Worldview, but high Religious Personality. The findings of this study provide information about the religious experience among students based on the program in which they have enrolled. Keywords: Religiosity, MRPI, worldview, personality, Islamic Science   Abstrak Artikel ini membincangkan dapatan kajian yang mengukur tahap religiositi murid yang mengikuti    program pendidikan Sains secara tauhidik selama enam bulan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memahami tahap pandangan hidup dan personaliti murid yang mengikuti pendidikan Sains secara inter disiplin dengan pendidikan agama Islam. Kajian ini menggunakan set Muslim Religiosity Personality Index (MRPI). Berdasarkan dapatan kajian, kumpulan murid ini mempunyai tahap Islamic Worldview yang sederhana, namun Religious Personality yang tinggi. Islam emphasizes preserving chastity onto its believers, which is derived into several commandments to achieve this goal. Among them is aurah (parts of body that are prohibited to be exposed to the public) covering. In the context the current society, wearing a hijab (veil) among female Muslim is a common sight in public places. However, wearing a hijab is not what all it takes to completely cover the aurah, in fact, one may wear the hijab but with tight-fitting clothes, for example, that does not adhere to the right concept of aurah covering. This article aims to investigate the level of understanding on aurah covering parameters among Muslim women. Quantitative analysis has been conducted for 135 female students from 27 different nationalities in the International Islamic University Malaysia where a questionnaire consisting of questions related to aurah covering parameters are distributed. Datas were analysed using the SPSS version 26. The findings suggest that Muslim women have a high level of understanding on aurah covering parameters. The findings from this study may be helpful in providing insights to further exploration of hijab and aurah covering issue as there have not yet many studies tackling the hijab issue from the perspective of aurah covering guidelines.

Abstract Previous researches have proven that the problem of frozen assets in Malaysia is increasing every year where the amount reached RM70 billion in year 2020. In recent days, hibah has been suggested as one of the important methods in distributing Muslims’ properties in Malaysia. In fact, this effort is seen as an attempt to facilitate the issue of frozen assets in Malaysia. This situation has inspired the authors to raise the awareness among public on the importance of using hibah as an alternative method in Islamic estate planning in Malaysia. This study discovers that social media plays a vital role in raising the awareness about hibah among Muslims as it can be easily published and accessed by the public. It is hoped that this study will be beneficial for the public to understand the role of social media in disseminating information about hibah as an alternative distribution method and to also able to cater the issue of frozen assets in Malaysia. This study recommends for a future study to be carried out by other researchers to tackle the issue of the role of social media influencers in promoting hibah. This study applies a doctrinal legal approach where the data collection is based on a library-based research as well as observations on YouTube videos.  Keywords: hibah, Muslims, property, Syariah Court, social media   Abstrak Kertas kerja ini bertujuan membincangkan pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam. Pembangunan lestari secara umum ialah pembangunan yang memenuhi keperluan semasa serta masa hadapan bagi mencapai kesinambungan antara pembangunan ekonomi, sosial dan alam sekitar tanpa menjejaskan keperluan bagi generasi seterusnya. Pembangunan lestari sangat mendapat perhatian dalam disiplin pembangunan termasuk dalam kalangan negara-negara Islam. Persoalannya, apakah perspektif Islam terhadap pembangunan lestari ini? Bagi mencapai tujuan tersebut, perbincangan dalam kertas kerja ini dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian. Pertama, mengenal pasti pandangan sarjana terhadap pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam. Kedua menganalisis dan merumuskan pandangan para sarjana terhadap pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan dan analisis kandungan. Penelitian mendapati bahawa pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam lebih luas berbanding pembangunan lestari yang lazim. Pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam ini merangkumi epistemologi dan tasawur Islam yang mempunyai acuan pembangunannya yang tersendiri melibatkan aspek fizikal, akhlak dan rohani. Abstract Pandemic of COVID-19 unspecifically has a physical effect on its sufferers, however it has negative impacts towards the mental and psychological of sufferers. To alleviate community pressure, the government and some NGOs are responsible for providing counselling services as psychological support. Counsellors, on the other hand, are continuously exposed to trauma disorders as a result of the conduct of counselling sessions, even though they do not directly experience it. Secondary Traumatic Stress, or STS for short, is a disease that refers to emotional distress caused by the emotional suffering of others. This impact was created because the client was given attention and compassion, as well as strong incentive to help ease the patient's pain. If no special preparation is given, the patient is vulnerable to the onset of STS symptoms, which have negative consequences on the physical, cognitive, mental, behavioural, social, and spiritual levels. As a result, during the COVID-19 pandemic era, a study that provides preparatory recommendation for counsellors dealing with a wide range of clients during the COVID-19 pandemic period is much needed. This research focuses on a data collection procedure in a library based on the theory of Secondary Traumatic Stress and the COVID-19 pandemic. This study argues that counsellors receive psychospiritual support training in order to satisfy the demands of Secondary Traumatic Stress Disorder in the COVID-19 pandemic period. Keywords: COVID-19, traumatic, psychospiritual, mental health, sympathy     Abstrak   Wabak COVID-19 bukan sahaja memberi kesan berbentuk fizikal kepada para pengidapnya, malah turut memberi impak negatif kepada mental dan psikologi. Bagi mengurangkan tekanan kepada masyarakat, pihak kerajaan dan beberapa NGO menggalas tanggungjawab memberikan perkhidmatan kaunseling sebagai sokongan psikologi. Namun begitu, pada hakikatnya para kaunselor turut terdedah dengan gangguan trauma secara berterusan akibat daripada pengendalian sesi kaunseling yang dijalankan walaupun tidak mengalaminya secara langsung. Gangguan tersebut dikenali sebagai Secondary Traumatic Stress atau singkatannya STS yang merujuk kepada penderitaan emosi kerana penderitaan emosi orang lain. Kesan ini lahir kerana perhatian dan simpati yang diberikan kepada klien disertai galakan yang kuat untuk menolong meringankan penderitaan pesakit. Sekiranya tidak disediakan persediaan yang khusus, ini mendedahkan kepada peletusan simptom STS yang memberi implikasi negatif kepada fizikal, kognitif, emosi, perilaku, sosial dan spiritual. Sehubungan itu, kajian yang memberikan cadangan persediaan bagi kaunselor yang berdepan dengan pelbagai klien yang ramai dalam tempoh pandemik COVID-19 adalah sangat diperlukan. Kajian ini menumpukan kepada proses pengumpulan data perpustakaan yang memfokus kepada teori Secondary Traumatic Stress dan pandemik COVID-19. Kajian ini mengemukakan cadangan mengambil persediaan sokongan psikospiritual bagi kaunselor dalam mendepani cabaran gangguan Secondary Traumatic Stress di era pandemik COVID-19. Abstract Everyone could not escape from hardship in life whereby it may result heterogeny feelings including stress. Stress is one of a serious mental illness that can be suffered since childhood.  The lack of children control towards stress may result many negative impacts to their physical, emotion and mental. Therefore, Islam had place parents as one of children educator and mentor for their every single problem in life. The purpose of this research is to discuss several strategies in managing children stress in accordance to Islamic perspective. This article is a qualitative research which use documentation methodology for collecting data and thematic analysis for analyzing data. The data’s collected based on this research themes such as health, psychology, parenting education and early childhood education according to Islamic approach. This paper identified several convenient and suitable ways for children’s stress management according to Islamic views. Keywords: stress management, children, Islamic perspective.   Abstrak Setiap individu tidak terlepas daripada ujian dalam kehidupan yang akhirnya menimbulkan pelbagai perasaan termasuklah keadaan tertekan. Tekanan yang juga disebut sebagai stres merupakan masalah kesihatan mental yang serius sehingga boleh dihidapi sejak peringkat kanak-kanak lagi. Ketidakupayaan anak-anak dalam menguruskan stres boleh menimbulkan pelbagai implikasi negatif kepada fizikal, emosi dan mental. Oleh sebab itu, Islam memposisikan ibu bapa sebagai pendidik dan pembimbing kepada anak-anak dalam setiap urusan termasuklah menguruskan setiap permasalahan mereka. Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan adalah untuk membincangkan strategi mapan dalam menguruskan stres anak-anak menurut perspektif Islam. Artikel ini merupakan kajian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode dokumentasi bagi mengumpul data dan analisis tematik bagi menganalisis data. Data-data tersebut diambil berdasarkan tema berkaitan kajian seperti kesihatan, psikologi, pendidikan keibubapaan dan pendidikan awal kanak-kanak menurut pandangan Islam.  Hasil kajian ini juga telah mengenalpasti beberapa pengurusan stres yang sesuai diguna pakai oleh ibu bapa terhadap anak-anak mereka menurut pandangan Islam. Kata kunci: pengurusan stres, anak-anak, perspektif Islam.

Syarahan-syarahan Hikam Abu Madyan ialah karya yang mengandungi panduan perjalanan kerohanian ahli Tasawuf.  Syarahan ini telah dilakukan terhadap Hikam Abu Madyan yang telah dikarang oleh Syeikh Shu`ayb al-Maghribi.  Namun begitu kajian tentangnya masih belum banyak dilakukan.  Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan menjelaskan biografi pengarang Hikam Abu Madyan, penisbahan karya ini kepada beliau dan karya-karya dalam kategori syarah bagi Hikam Abu Madyan ini.  Pengkaji akan menfokuskan kepada 4 syarahan awal yang didapati terhadapnya.  Pertama Sharh Hikam al-Ghawthiyyah oleh Syeikh Ahmad bin Ibrahim Ibn `Allān al-Siddīqī al-Makkī, kedua, al-Bayān Wa al-Mazīd al-Mushtamil `Alā Ma`ānī al-Tanzīh Wa Haqā’iq al-Tawhīd `Alā ‘Uns al-Wahīd Wa Nuzhah al-Murīd oleh Syeikh Ahmad bin Abdul Qadir bin Umar al-Daw`anī al-Hadramī, ketiga, Kanz al-Minan `Alā Hikam ‘Abi Madyan oleh Syeikh Daud bin Abdullah al-Faṭānī al-Jāwī, dan keempat, al-Mawād al-Ghaythiyyah Sharh al-Hikam al-Ghawthiyyah oleh Syeikh Ahmad bin Mustafa al-`Alāwī.  Kajian ini berasaskan data-data yang dikumpul melalui kaedah analisis dokumen.  Data-data ini kemudiannya dianalisis menggunakan kaedah induktif, deduktif dan komparatif.  Pengkaji mendapati syarahan Hikam Abu Madyan merupakan sebuah karya tasawuf yang sesuai untuk diketengahkan sebagai rujukan para ulama dan masyarakat.  Penghasilan syarahan ini menunjukkan kecaknaan para ulama dalam menjelaskan kandungan Hikam Abu Madyan.  Kajian ini penting sebagai pengenalan kepada Hikam Abu Madyan dan kitab-kitab syarahan awal terhadapnya.

Abstract Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir was a de facto leader of al-Andalus during the Umayyad rule based in Cordoba. Caliph al-Hakam II had appointed him to hold some political positions to strengthen Umayyad rule in Cordoba (al-Andalus) and al-Maghrib (North Africa). Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir’s political appointment was seen as a special position in Cordoba administration. This analysis is seen through the readings of the authoritative primary source written by Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi. Hence, the purpose of this article is to scrutinize Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi’s biography as an al-Andalus historian in the 5H/11AD Century in his work, al-Muqtabas fi Akhbar Balad al-Andalus. In addition, this research also describes the involvement of Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir in the Umayyad administration in Cordoba during the reign of Caliph al-Hakam II based on the chronicle of Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi. On the whole, this article is a qualitative research using historical study and content analysis in gathering and analyzing data from relevant primary and secondary sources. Based on Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi’s description in al-Muqtabas, this research argues that Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir was an authoritative political figure in 4H/10AD Century of the Umayyad rule in Cordoba. His political appointments were held in the fields, of administration, judiciary, military, security, international relations and finance. This research also concludes that Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi was a preeminent historian in al-Andalus through his work, al-Muqtabas fi Akhbar Balad al-Andalus, which is seen as his biggest contribution in the corpus of knowledge on Islamic history and civilization in al-Andalus. Pihak Khalifah al-Hakam II telah melantik beliau untuk menjawat beberapa jawatan politik utama bagi memperkukuh pengaruh Kerajaan Umawiyyah di Cordoba (al-Andalus) dan di al-Maghrib (Afrika Utara). Pelantikan politik Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir ini turut memperlihatkan kedudukan istimewa yang diterima beliau dalam pemerintahan di Cordoba. Pencerakinan tersebut dilihat menerusi penelaahan terhadap sumber primer berwewenang yang ditulis oleh Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi. Oleh itu, penulisan ini bertujuan untuk meneliti biografi Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi sebagai tokoh sejarawan al-Andalus pada abad ke-5H/11M melalui karyanya, al-Muqtabas fi Akhbar Balad al-Andalus. Di samping itu, kajian ini turut memerihalkan penglibatan Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir dalam Kerajaan Umawiyyah di Cordoba pada era pemerintahan Khalifah al-Hakam II berdasarkan catatan Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi. Secara keseluruhannya, artikel ini merupakan kajian kualitatif dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kajian sejarah dan analisis kandungan dalam mengumpul serta menganalisis maklumat daripada sumber primer dan sekunder yang relevan. Berasaskan pemerian Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi dalam al-Muqtabas, kajian ini menghujahkan bahawa Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir ialah seorang tokoh politik berwibawa abad ke-4H/10M era Kerajaan Umawiyyah di Cordoba. Antara penglibatan politik yang disandang oleh Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Amir adalah meliputi bidang pentadbiran, kehakiman, ketenteraan, keselamatan, hubungan antarabangsa dan juga kewangan. Kajian ini turut menatijahkan Ibn Hayyan al-Qurtubi sebagai seorang tokoh sejarawan terulung di al-Andalus menerusi hasil karyanya, al-Muqtabas fi Akhbar Balad al-Andalus yang dilihat sebagai sumbangan terbesar beliau dalam korpus kelimuan sejarah dan tamadun Islam di al-Andalus. Abstract   Intertextuality helps to understand the influences in a literary text and its content from previous texts, be they religious or literary. As the Noble Qur’an has been central to poets’ view, they drew from it and were influenced by it. The effects were evident at the level of the image, its pronunciation and the composition. This research aims to analyze the poetic texts that are related to Qur'anic texts in ‘Amr al-Nami’s poetry in order to reveal his techniques of using Quranic intertextuality, and how he employed it to serve his poetry by creating new semantic meanings, highlighting the effect of religious culture in his poems, and showing his ability to reform what he was inspired by the absent texts in a new form. It also kept track of the Quranic verses that the poet was able to benefit from in forming his poetic and intellectual vision. This is assisted by employing descriptive and analytical method of some models of Quranic intertextuality in his poetry so as to know the forms of Quranic intertextuality being used and how he used them to present his poetry. It was found that Qur’anic intertextuality had an effect on shaping his poetry and gained its connotation and artistic maturity. It served and strengthened the poet’s meanings and images, and the diversity of intertextuality in the level of pronunciation in his poetry was found to be of direct intertextuality and indirect intertextuality in the form of ruminating, absorption and dialogue, while the use of Quranic texts was exploited for psychological purposes represented in promoting reassurance and self-assuredness in the face of calamities, patience and restraint, which reflects his deep belief.   Keywords: Intertextuality, poetry, ‘Amr al-Nami       الملخص   يساعد التناص على فهم المؤثرات في النص الأدبي وما يتضمنه من نصوص سابقة، سواء كان موروثا دينيا أو أدبيا. لذا كان القرآن الكريم محط أنظار الشعراء فنهلوا منه وتأثروا به، فجاء التأثير واضحًا على مستوى الصورة واللفظ والتركيب. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل النصوص الشعرية التي تعالقت مع النص القرآني في شعر عمرو النامي؛ وذلك للكشف عن تقنيات استخدام الشاعر للتناص القرآني، وكيف وظفها لخدمة شعره باستحداث معان دلالية جديدة مبرزًا أثر الثقافة الدينية في قصائده، وبيان قدرته على إعادة تشكيل ما استوحاه من النصوص الغائبة في صورة جديدة. ورصد الآيات القرآنية التي استطاع الشاعر الاستفادة منها في تشكيل رؤيته الشعرية والفكرية. مستعينًا بالمنهج الوصفي التحليلي لبعض نماذج التناص القرآني التي تضمنها شعر النامي. وذلك لمعرفة أشكال التناص القرآني في شعر عمرو النامي. وكيفية توظفه لخدمة شعره. وتبين من خلال التحليل أن التناص القرآني له أثر في تشكيل شعره وأكسبه دلالة ونضجًا فنيًّا، وجاء خادمًا ومقويًّا لمعاني الشاعر وصوره، وتنوع التناص في مستوى اللفظ في شعره فجاء تناص مباشر وتناص غير مباشر على شكل اجترار وامتصاص وحوار، واستثمر النصوص القرآنية لأغراض نفسية تمثلت في إشاعة الطمأنينة وتثبيت النفس عند النوائب والصبر والتجلد مما يعكس إيمانه العميق.   الكلمات المفتاحية: التناص القرآني، شعر، عمرو النامي.
