Kata kunci : Mimusops elengi Linn.; Tanjung; bibit; pertumbuhan; mulsaThis research aims to know the percentage of live seeds Tanjung (Mimusops elengi Linn.) at each treatment, analyzes the influence of the giving of the mulch is dry Eceng Gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) against the growth of seedlings of Tanjung (Mimusops elengi Linn.) and know the best seedling growth of Tanjung (Mimusops elengi Linn.) in each treatment. Designs used are random design complete with 4 treatments and 10 replicates. As for the treatments used, namely the control first treatment (without granting mulch), a second treatment by giving mulch 20 grams, a third treatments with the awarding of the mulch 40 grams and fourth treatment by administering mulch 60 grams. The percentage of live seeds Tanjung (Mimusops elengi Linn.) in the shade house belongs in all treatments with a value of 100%. High value added seed treatment shows that Tanjung A1 which has a high value added i.e. greatest 10.0 cm. results of the analysis of diversity shows that the treatment had no effect against the real value added high stem and leaf number because the value of count is smaller than F on F table. Increase the amount of leaves for Tanjung (Mimusops elengi Linn.) shows that the treatment that has added the number of the A1 leaves the largest i.e. 4.6 strands. The results of the analysis show the diversity of treatment has no effect because the real value of F count smaller than F table.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to explore the concept of adding value and in particular to suggest ways in which libraries can add even more value than they do so now. Design/methodology/approach – With this primarily a literature review combined with some examples of ways in which some libraries are adding value in new and interesting ways. This paper seeks to extend the work of Robert Taylor who developed a Value-Added Model. Findings – Libraries must find new ways to add value to their collections and services as competitors continue to introduce convenient services that are drawing people away from libraries. The ways in which a library might add new value have been grouped into five broad categories: community, content, context, collaboration, or co-creation and connection. Each category is discussed in some detail and examples are provided to illustrate possibilities. Originality/value – Exploring ways in which libraries can add value in the life of their customers must become a topic of conversation for librarians everywhere. The mandate to change is ever present and libraries need to introduce new and innovative services that add real value.

ABSTRACT Gembong subdistrict is producing coffee area in Pati Regency which is processed into black coffee powder and green coffee powder. This research aims to know the value-added, income and eligibility processing robusta coffee. The basic method of research used descriptive method. Location retrieval methods of research with purposive sampling. Sampling of respondents by the census method, data collection by way of interviews, observation and record-keeping. The data analysis methods are added value, cost, revenue and earnings, and also feasibility analysis BEP and R/C. The results showed there was a difference in the average of ratio value added processing black and green coffe powder they are 43.52% and 48.06%, the average revenues of coffee powder processing black and green respectively is Rp. 360.592/PP one week and Rp. 580.313/PP one week, the average of breakeven black coffee powder and green coffe powder a value of BEP (Production) 10.90 kg and 4.91 kg (the real are 12.48 kg and 6.84 kg), BEP (Price) of Rp. 90.813/kg and Rp. 154.489/kg (the real are Rp. 104,000/kg and Rp. 215,000/kg) and BEP (Acceptance) of Rp. 751.431/PP one week and Rp.379.426/PP one week (the real are Rp. 1.297.920/PP one week and Rp.1.470.600/PP one week), and R/C value of black dan green coffee powder processing are 1.38 and 1.65. Keywords : Value Added, Robusta Coffee, Black Coffee, Green Coffee, Gembong

Summary Aim: Multiple procedures for the quantification of activity leakage in radiation synovectomy of the knee joint have been described in the literature. We compared these procedures considering the real conditions of dispersion and absorption using a corpse phantom. Methods: We simulated different distributions of the activity in the knee joint and a different extra-articular spread into the inguinal lymph nodes. The activity was measured with a gammacamera. Activity leakage was calculated by measuring the retention in the knee joint only using an anterior view, using the geometric mean of anterior and posterior views, or using the sum of anterior and posterior views. The same procedures were used to quantify the activity leakage by measuring the activity spread into the inguinal lymph nodes. In addition, the influence of scattered rays was evaluated. Results: For several procedures we found an excellent association with the real activity leakage, shown by an r² between 0.97 and 0.98. When the real value of the leakage is needed, e. g. in dosimetric studies, simultaneously measuring of knee activity and activity in the inguinal lymph nodes in anterior and posterior views and calculation of the geometric mean with exclusion of the scatter rays was found to be the procedure of choice. Conclusion: When measuring of activity leakage is used for dosimetric calculations, the above-described procedure should be used. When the real value of the leakage is not necessary, e. g. for comparing different therapeutic modalities, several of the procedures can be considered as being equivalent.

A novel strategy for the oxidation of Mg-based intermetallic compounds using CO2 as an oxidizing agent was realized via simple thermal treatment, called ‘CO2-thermic Oxidation Process (CO-OP)’. Furthermore, as a value-added application, electrochemical properties of one of the reaction products (carbon-coated macroporous silicon) was evaluated. Considering the facile tunability of the chemical/physical properties of Mg-based intermetallics, we believe that this route can provide a simple and versatile platform for functional energy materials synthesis as well as CO2 chemical utilization in an environment-friendly and sustainable way.
