AbstractMany experts have long pointed out that the key to incorporating sustainability into a proposal in an economically viable way is to consider sustainable objectives and criteria from the very first steps of the project because the relationship between the effectiveness of the strategies proposed and The cost of implementing them is more beneficial. The main objective of this work has been the development of a tool, called Green Improvement Tool v1.7, which simplifies as much as possible the questions related to sustainability, giving solution to the needs of its potential users and bringing together several characteristics: Clarity in terms and objectives (to avoid confusion and failure to implement), technical and economic feasibility in its application, sufficient flexibility to adapt to different situations and contexts, ability to promote the use of different technologies and, above all, to stimulate interest of these users in a process of continuous improvement. During the validation process, the tests carried out in real cases indicate that the tool allows more than 80% of the results at the end of the process to be anticipated from the initial phases, with an average reliability of more than 95%.

The grassroots union experiment undertaken at the Lear automotive parts factory in Argentina can be seen as a paradigmatic struggle for an understanding of the relationship between unionism and politics. The Lear case reveals that the distinctiveness of radical political unionism lies in the democratic elements of its decision making and its appeal to direct action, its construction of alliances with other social organizations, its linkage of economic demands with broader political objectives, its identification of the management, the state, and the union bureaucracy as adversaries, and its transmission of a leftist political culture.

The chapter explains in detail the maintenance management model (MMM) taken as a reference for the development of the book. The chapter is based on the eight phases of the MMM. The first three blocks determine the effectiveness of the management; the following blocks assure the same efficiency and continuous improvement in the following way: Blocks 4 and 5 include actions for the planning and scheduling of maintenance, including, of course, the capacity of planning of department of maintenance. Blocks 6 and 7 are dedicated to the evaluation and control of the maintenance and the cost of assets throughout their life cycle. This chapter of introduction briefly summarizes the process and the reference frame necessary for the implementation of the MMM. This chapter also presents the relationship between the eight phases of the maintenance management model proposed and the general requirements of the asset management standard ISO 55000 to show how the gradual implementation of the MMM largely covers the requirements of the standard ISO 55000.

There is an intrinsic relationship between photovoltaic materials and building forms; although there are numerous imaginations and concepts about buildings integrated photovoltaic materials. The relationship between these two components needed to be identified and examined in the process of architectural decision making. This thesis explores the relationship between photovoltaic materials and building forms in particular geographical and climatic environments through case studies and then proposes an architectural design project. Based on the research suggestion, the design illustrates how a recreational facility adopts an approximate building form for photovoltaic integration and how the concept is developed. Some implications and principle for solar design are summarized in the final chapter.

This paper examines some accounting and legal aspects of the charge and discharge system and the relationship between it and the Agency Theory. This type of accounting was used when the economic activity was entrusted to an agent; it suggests that the Agency Theory is an excellent framework to analyze the accounts. Traditionally the Charge and Discharge has been linked to the decision making and control of the agent's management, on which there is a wide bibliography, however, until now, it has not been considered as an instrument to cancel conflicts that arisen in the relationship between principal and agent and getting the equilibrium of the relationship between them.We analyzed the documents and that allowed us to show different aspects as identify all characteristic elements of the agency relationship, infer the interests of principal and agents, deduct the incentives used by the principal to align the behavior of the agents and conclude that this mode of registration was able to neutralize the imbalances of interests and the asymmetric information between both.

Raw materials and products are moved and created globally through complex supply chains. Within those supply chains, logistics is what enables the goods to move through distribution and to the end consumer. This is what motivates the researchers to examine the logistics portion of the supply chain and attempt to determine the relationship between various market forces and their impact on the cost of logistics. This will be accomplished with transformative analytics techniques, such as multivariate regression modeling, that should enable logistics managers, researchers, and others to better understand the cost of logistics services, and thus impact pricing of goods dependent on those services. In a world where logistics managers rely heavily on “gut feel”, utilizing business intelligence and analytics can better enable decision making.

Abstract. This research aims to design and validate, in the Squash players, the McPherson and French ‘Components of Real Play in Tennis Encoding Instrument´ (1991). The new ‘Performance Assessment Tool in Squash´ (SPET) was configured by three factors: tactical principles, decision making and execution of motor skills for technical-tactical gestures of returning of the serve and the drop shot in situation of real game. The incorporation of tactical principles of game provides an ecological contextualization of sport, responding to the requirement to assess decision-making and performance in sport contexts: representative experimental tasks in situ conditions. The 12 players in the HERS results show inter-observer reliability: in expert players have a Cronbach’s Alpha .787 for the drop out gesture and .878 for the return gesture; in rookie players are a Cronbach’s Alpha of .916 for drop out gesture and .918 for the return gesture. The reliability, in the stability of the instrument, achieves a Cronbach’s Alpha of .903 at drop out gesture and .887 on the return gesture. The SPET has an adequate content validity, by the positive assessment of six external experts. It has an adequate criterion validity oriented to the prediction, since, in the study; the criterion comes from the level of expertise and the performance in real game situation. It has been developed an assessment tool valid and innovative, which allows measuring, in a closest procedure to the Ecological Systems, players from different contexts or expertise levels related to the decision-making and the implementation towards the improvement of performance.Keywords. skills evaluation, sport actions in situ conditions, tactical principles, game performance, expertise levels.

The results of the study are derived from a framework for estimating and recovering damage from emissions, the assimilation potential and sustainable development goals taken into account as well. The identified conditions for the establishment of an effective system for internalizing economic damage from emissions in the territory are limited to ensuring the fairness and consistency of the decisions taken, formation of incentives for continuous improvement of the situation and achievement of the goals of sustainable development in the territories. The main conditions are to reduce the limitations of traditional methods and to overcome uncertainty in the analysis of data. The development of assimilation potential should generate income for its owner (the source of income is the polluter). If payments for cap-and-trade payments are insufficient, the state must subsidize the activity. Since the estimation of the cost of cap-and-overs is done in some part in isolation, it is possible to identify the economic feasibility of its operation within the framework of the model. Due to importance and complexity, one of the main elements and conditions of an effective system of internalization of externalities in the territory is the solution of the problems of road transport.
