Recently there has been growing interest in the application of game theory (GT) to solve many diverse problems in the field of construction, including i.a.: tender preparation, selection of a contractor for construction works, negotiating terms and conditions of cooperation of the parties to the contract, analysis and modeling of investment risk. In the authors opinion, the use of GT by general contractor (GC) of construction works to indicate the best strategy leading to winning court proceedings in a situation of conflict with investor (IN), so far has not been the subject of research. Taking into account the above, the aim of the presented paper is to indicate the optimal strategy from the GC point of view in the conflict situation with IN. The article presents a list of the most common causes of conflicts between parties of the construction works' contract, defines the background of the problem and the cause of the dispute, and on its basis, the authors generate the theoretical model of the game. Based on the analyzed game model, expected payoffs for players were calculated and the probability border value at which GC should apply the indicated strategy determined. The results of the study show that in the case when the probability of issuing a judgment favorable for GC is at least equal to 69.23%, it is justified to use an aggressive strategy. The analysis also confirms that from the financial perspective, litigation in most cases of conflicts in the area of construction should be the last choice.

The study results show that while the probability of issuing a judgment favorable for the GC is at least equal to 0.69 it is justified to use an aggressive strategy. The analysis also confirms that from the financial perspective, litigation in most cases of conflicts in the area of construction should be the ultimate choice.

“Flying machining” represents synchronization of an axis (slave) with a master axis in motion. One of the most important aspects of the design of “flying machining” operation is the choice of the proper law of motion of the slave axis. In literature, technical reports and papers can be found concerning this subject, but they deal with specific problems and the solutions or suggestions proposed are specific as well, suitable for those cases. In order to try to overcome this limitation, in this paper we analyze the subject of the flying machining operations from a wider point of view. We propose a unified design procedure with general validity, suitable for the choice of the slave axis’ law of motion for whatever “flying machining” operation. Furthermore methodologies for the selection of the drive system will be proposed. The procedure is described applying it on a cross sealing operation, typical of wrapping machine.

The article deals with the organizational and technological features of construction. The organization of construction production for the installation of facade systems with an air gap during the construction of buildings is associated with coordination with general construction works. Often, construction management projects developed at the design stage are adjusted taking into account the current conditions. These changes can occur both before the start of work and during the production of work. The introduction of organizational and technological changes in the production process of work can lead to a significant decrease in technical and economic indicators. In this regard, it is relevant to resolve the issues of assessment and selection of effective organizational and technological solutions for the device of facade systems. The difficulty is the assessment of factors with different dimensions of quantitative and qualitative indicators. Installation of facade systems is a work performed in the open air, in connection with which there are factors that have a rather strong influence on the complexity of the work. In addition, as with any other construction work, it depends on the completion of other construction work. Another important feature of the organization of facade work is the orientation of the work front in the unfamiliar plane of the building. The study of this type of work is relevant and is of interest from a scientific point of view, not only in matters of constructive solutions for and organization of work and the use of appropriate machines and mechanisms. A well-grounded choice of technological equipment and the number and qualification of workers will increase the performance of work.

In this article, there is a need for a new study and teaching of modern Kazakh literature in the science of Kazakh literature. We know that the teaching of Kazakh literature is analyzed and studied in a new way, as the task is to examine it in detail. However, over time, each area of education has not yet been fully studied from the point of view of systematic scientific and methodological training. The relevance of the research lies in the artistic features of Kazakh literature, with a broad focus on current social problems and the topics covered in it, the selection of information, the formation of one's own scientific and methodological approach, effective methods of technology. Systematization, comprehensive analysis of modern effective technologies and methods of teaching Kazakh literature. The goal is to determine the consistency of teaching technologies, the specifics of teaching, and methodological relevance.

The object of this commentary is to indicate the fundamental principles underlying the selection of property investments from the point of view of an insurance company. It is, however, essential first to examine the phraseology of real property, with its legal background, before we can distinguish between the various types of property and the degree of security afforded by each type. In the time at our disposal, we must of necessity confine ourselves to the basic elements of the subject, and make no attempt to deal with war-time legislation or present prospects of changes in legislation.

Most civil engineering construction works, and the site investigations and planning decisions that precede them, are intimately concerned with the nature of the first few metres of the Earth's surface. The materials that constitute this zone were either deposited by the processes that took place in the Quarternary or have been significantly altered by them. This volume contains a collection of papers which examine in detail those processes, the properties of the materials that are produced by them and their implications for construction. The subject is considered from an international point of view with authors from 14 countries describing events in glacial, periglacial, temperate and tropical environments. The scene is set by P. G. Fookes whose keynote address describes from an engineer's perspective the events of the Quaternary and how they affected the surface of the Earth. Each environmental theme is introduced by a report on the papers by an eminent worker in that field and there are 'state of the art' reviews of the major themes by J. N. Hutchinson and G. E. Blight. This book is an important contribution to the engineering geological literature, especially relevant to today's international construction industry, combining clear overviews with detailed case studies which demonstrate the implications of Quaternary processes and materials in civil engineering operations.

The paper introduces a new concept – trans-forest. A forest is a complex of additional connected trees. The skeleton of the graph is the basic multi-hierarchy. Subjects and “forces” are sources of moves on the playing field of the trans-forest based on the rules of the generative grammars of Montague. Each move of all generative grammars is synchronized with the meta-generative grammar – the “daemon of time”. Each turn over a trans-forest can be done by moving the present marker on the time tree to the “Next” position. Particular attention is paid to the format tree and trans-connections between trees and its levels, since it is the format tree that determines human behavior in certain situations. An algorithm of evolutionarily justified expansions is proposed, the purpose of which is to ensure well-being for the subject himself and other subjects. The proposed trans-forest model is intended for modeling educational, language IT marketing, geological and other situations from the point of view of graph theory and game theory

AbstractThe subject of the study was fitness services and interaction with consumers of its. It has been identified the main criteria for evaluating the fitness service by customers in process of decisions and selection of the fitness facilities for a visit Surveys of the youth segment of fitness consumers in Kharkiv were conducted and results were processed. The fitness clubs were studied in terms of communicative components of social media marketing to improve their interaction with customers. The research goal was the development computer model for multi-criteria evaluation of fitness centers and their work from clients point of view. As a modeling methodology, we proposed use fuzzy logic. As the instrument for implementation of the model specialized software FuzzyToolBox was chosen. Originally put forward the hypothesis about the possibility, reliability, simplicity and effectiveness of such an approach to modeling of the consumer evaluation of the fitness service, was confirmed as a result of the numerical calculations for fitness clubs in Kharkiv. The developed model can be applied to thetasks of multicriteria estimation of similar services provided to the population of different categories, such as: health-improving sports activities, outdoor activities, spa, water procedures, mass physical training, health-improving, rehabilitation gymnastics, amateur sports etc.

The subject of our research and restoration comes from a collection of the Ostankino Estate. This lantern is a part of decoration of the Etruscan living room of the Fountain House in St. Petersburg belonged to a count Sheremetev. The condition of safety of a lantern was disappointing, it was broken into several large and many medium and very small fragments. It consisted of 100 fragments. Many pieces were lost. On all surface of glass and a painting layer we could observe the strong pollution. The color layer was badly destroyed, the surface of the fragments was very dirty there was a widespread peeling of the paint scales, the painting was constantly crumbling at every touch. From the point of view of conservation and restoration operations it is interesting to know the old manufacturing technology of the lantern, namely technique of painting. Therefore at first we took samples of a paint layer and gave them on the analysis to our physical and chemical laboratory. The research was conducted by the following methods: microscopy in the reflected light, microchemistry, X-ray Fourier microspectroscopy. After that the technique of consolidation, cleaning and filling the gaps of a paint layer was developed. The joining process was initiated with the selection of fragments belonging to each other. Gluing started with the tiny fragments, until you get several large pieces of the lantern, let's call them blocks. Small loss on the already glued small blocks was then filled in place with an adhesive composition. The next stage was making of silicone molds of lost fragments. Large missing fragments were made using Araldite 2020. After reconstruction the whole form of the lantern, was completed tinting all the small losses, chips and adhesive joints by the developed technique. And the last step was the installation of pre-treated bronze frame.

The subject of this paper is a review of legislation and case law regarding personal subrogation, recourse obligation and recourse claim of the insurer for payment of insurance compensation as well as determining the amount of payment of recourse claim in civil proceedings before the court and assignment of the claim - cession. The paper starts from the point of view that the terms and institutes of subrogation, recourse and cession are very similar and that they are often identified, so we try to clearly distinguish what exactly the term refers to. In Croatian law, the right of subrogation of the insurer is most often understood as legal personal subrogation where by paying the insurance compensation the insurer assumes the legal position of its insured and consequently enabling the insurer to claim damages against the responsible person . In addition to the above, the paper also considers the statute of limitations for insurers’ recourse rights. Furthermore, the author starts from the point of view that in court proceedings initiated for recourse payment it is necessary for the court expert to clearly determine the parameters based on which the court will be able to assess in a certain percentage the possible contribution of the injured party to the damage towards the plaintiff, namely the insurer.
