This research aims to assess the lecturers’ acceptance level in using the Online Learning System (SPADA). The<div>institutional theory is an extension of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which is it analyzed variables of</div><div>perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, coercive pressure, normative pressure, mimetic pressure and behavior</div><div>intention. This research used quantitative research design with survey method. Meanwhile, the sampling technique</div><div>used cluster random sampling. The respondents of this research were lecturers who had applied SPADA at a state</div><div>university in Central Java. In this research, the assessment of the questionnaire used the Likert scale. Besides, the</div><div>tests used instrument test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing by using SPSS.</div><div>The result shows that from the six hypotheses that had been tested, the hypotheses of H1, H2, H3, H4 have no</div><div>significant influence and the hypotheses of H5 and H6 have significant influence. It means the lecturers who have high</div><div>social status are influencing others lecturers who have low social status in adopting SPADA although all variables have</div><div>contribution in influencing the lecturers on behavior intention to adopt SPADA. It indicates the social factor is being</div><div>attention in analyzing behavior intention in adopting technology.</div>

The purpose of this empirical research was to use the perceived resources and technology acceptance model (PRATAM; Ku, 2009) to observe and measure students’ beliefs on using the WebCT online learning system (OLS) in two WebCT courses offered at a large university in the south-eastern United States. PRATAM was replicated from previous research to address the factors of perceived resources (R), perceived usefulness (U), perceived ease of use (EOU), attitude towards using, behavioural intention to use (BI), and actual system use (USE). The results show that the constructs of PRATAM explained the data well in both surveys conducted. This study makes a contribution to the literature on PRATAM by identifying and understanding the factors that influence students’ behaviours in response to the OLS. Moreover, it provides insights for administrators and instructional designers for improving students’ persistence and retention in online learning courses.

This research explores the factors that influence students’ continuous usage intention regarding online learning platforms from the perspectives of social capital, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use. The questionnaire survey method was used in the research to analyze the relationship between the research variables and verify the hypothesis based on data from 248 collected valid questionnaire responses. The following results were obtained: (1) “Social interaction ties” positively affect students’ continuous usage intention. (2) “Shared language” negatively affects students’ continuous usage intention. (3) “Shared vision” positively affects students’ continuous usage intention. (4) “Perceived usefulness” positively affects students’ continuous usage intention. (5) “Perceived ease of use” positively affects students’ continuous usage intention. According to the results, students believe in useful teaching that promotes knowledge and skills. The ease of use of learning tools is key to whether they can learn successfully. Paying attention to the interaction and communication between students, so that students have a shared goal and participate in teamwork, is something that teachers must pay attention to in the course of operation. The professional vocabulary of the teaching content and the way of announcing information should avoid using difficult terminology, which is also a point to which teachers need to pay attention.

In this paper, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is extent with two external stimulus namely e-learning characteristics and basic ICT (Information and Communication Technology) competencies. The purpose of this study are (1) finding relationship between e-learning characteristics and lecturers’ basic ICT competencies with the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of e-learning; and (2) determining the effect of e-learning characteristics and lecturer basic ICT competencies to the actual usage of e-learning. Research subjects are Bali State Polytechnic lecturers who have attended the elearning training. In this study, to collect the data sample, a non-random sampling technique is adopted. The data is collected by self-administered questionnaires and is analyzed using structural equation modeling. Basic ICT competencies of the Bali State Polytechnic lecturers are good, but the level of actual usage of e-learning is very low. Basic ICT competence shows no significant effect on the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of e-learning. The actual usage of e-learning also has low implications. E-learning characteristics show a significant effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of e-learning, which implies the change attitude and behavior in the use of elearning. Characteristics of e-learning become a determinant factor in the adoption and use of elearning. The findings will help lecturer a better understanding to the mechanism of e-learning adoption. The study recommends for polytechnic institutions to make a systematic effort to provide lecturers with training on how to use e-learning system effectively. A further research to identify other factors that may influence lecturers' attitudes toward the adoption of e-learning system is demanded following this research.

Purpose -Response to the sudden pandemic, COVID-19 drastic shift of work practices requires the implementation of an e-learning system, but their adoption requires a thorough understanding of the user acceptance process. Our key effort is to incorporate a framework, “internet experience” to determine the existing Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) applicability in describing students’ s e-learning decisions in Haryana state. Design/methodology- The researcher has administered a questionnaire based on TAM’s constructs and collected data from UG and PG students of Haryana state of India. Findings – The results revealed that perceived usefulness (PU) has a significant positive relationship with continuous usage intention (CUI) whilst, perceived ease of use (PEOU), computer self-efficacy (CSE) and internet experience (IE) have not. Attitude towards E-learning system (ATELS) has found no relevance in this model. Originality/value Majority research has been done using the TAM model in a developed nation. Empirical study has not been done in Haryana state so far.

Objective- This paper attempts to explore the continuance purchase intention among Malaysian consumers on the internet, through the conceptual framework as modified from the Technology Acceptance Model. Methodology/Technique The research data has been collected through the use of an internet-based survey method, with a convenience sample of 300 Malaysian respondents in June 2014; whereas, data analysis is further conducted using the SPSS software, through the measurements of a simple linear regression test, mediation test and moderation test. Findings Results show a positive relationship between perceived usefulness and trust; while the continuance intentionfor online purchase is positively significant to perceived usefulness. The partial mediating role of subjective norm is further identified, between perceived usefulness and continuance intention. It is also understood that both male and female perceive the usefulness of website as an important factor toward their intention to online re-purchase. Novelty - Most of the researches are conducted solely upon the factors or purchase intention, limited studies have been done to investigate the continuance purchase intention among fellow consumers. This action research reports the experiences of introducing blended learning in the delivery of a post-graduate course to students in the university. The research conceptual framework is adapted from the technology acceptance model. The objective is to assess the level of acceptance of online learning and to document the attempts of the facilitator to create an independent, student-directed, and student-centered learning environment. This is the fourth quadrant learning typology. The research participants were a group of Masters in Education students who registered for the course “Strategies for Teaching and Learning.” Blended learning was introduced as a variant from the standard face-to-face instruction. This proved to be a valuable learning experience for both participants and lecturer. The perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of online learning was not matched with the behavioral intention.

Individuals taking information system training courses can benefit from learning information systems use and thus have the ability to implement systems before graduation. Previous studies have mentioned that an individual's system acceptance is likely to be determined by the information system, target users and context. However, studies on how personality traits and their interactions with external variables, such as training and subjective norms, to directly or indirectly influence an individual's perception and behavior intention, are lacking. This study integrates the five-factor model and technology acceptance model to explore student information systems acceptance. Questionnaire survey is used to collect data from university students. By using PLS analysis with 331 usable questionnaires, the results indicate that training and subjective norms have positive influences on perceived usefulness. Besides, a conscientiousness personality has a positive influence on perceived usefulness. Extraversion and agreeableness moderate the influence of subjective norms on perceived usefulness, while openness to experience moderates the relationship between training and perceived usefulness. Finally, this study confirms the positive interrelationship among perceived usefulness, attitude and behavior intention. The results provide valuable information for both academicians and practitioners concerned with promoting students' information systems acceptance.

A research about factors that lead students to choose online courses, as well as the acceptance of these courses, can provide very relevant information for higher education institutions’ decision makers to amend these offers to students’ interests and needs. An investigation through questionnaire was developed involving students who attended online post-graduate courses. It was intended to know which factors affect students' decision to opt for postgraduate online courses. A model, based on the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), was tested to find out what factors determine the intention to use online learning. The results shows that most respondents favour online courses and that their decision, when choosing this type of course, is mainly influenced by time management flexibility, avoiding going to school and the course curriculum interest. The test of the model, with structural equations, shows that attitude regarding online courses and perceived usefulness are factors that predict the intention to use. It was also concluded that the perceived ease of use induces a direct and indirect effect on the intention to use. The most significant results are consistent with published studies and can help the higher education institutions to define offer and communication strategies to reach a greater number of candidates for online learning.

<p>E-learning is a model of delivering learning content electronically with the help of computers and multimedia. ABC University has implemented the e-learning system for two (2) years in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning process. This study aims to determine the level of user acceptance, especially from the perspective of students. In other words, this study also wants to evaluate the implementation of e-learning systems in higher education as well as identifying any factors that encourage students to use e-learning system especially in ABC University. The research method used was survey with the approach of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) as the technology acceptance evaluation model consisting of two main factors: perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. The results showed perceived usefulness significantly positive influence on user acceptance, while perceived ease of use did not significantly influence on user acceptance. The perceived ease of use also significantly positive influence perceived usefulness. The variance of user acceptance could be explained by two factors about 50.5%. </p>

Massive growth of technology based e-learning systems is enabling student access to academic content from higher education institutions around the world. This study explores the antecedents of behavioral intention of students to use e-learning systems in university education to supplement classroom learning. A quantitative approach involving a structural equation model is adopted and research data collected from 358 undergraduate students is used for analysis. The study framework is based upon the technology acceptance model (TAM) and three external factors are proposed to influence the behavioral intention of students to use e-learning. Frequently used external factors in previous researches like computer experience and anxiety were not used and alternate factors were explored. Results show that self-efficacy, enjoyment and results demonstrability have a significant positive influence on perceived usefulness and on perceived ease of use of the e-learning system. The study contributes to understanding such contributory factors from the viewpoint of a student by suggesting that these factors hold well in the Pakistani academia culture where sufficient relevant empirical evidence did not exist due to lack of prior studies.
