Almost all countries in the world use E-Learning as a teaching medium. Moodle is a Learning Management System (LMS), a free, open-source platform designed to assist educators in creating online courses with dynamic interaction opportunities. In this study, an evaluation of the use of Moodle was carried out, especially in fundamental physics courses (Newton's Law). Evaluation is given by distributing online questionnaires using Google Forms as a database to store answers, collect feedback, and as statistical software to provide analysis of the effect of using Moodle according to students' opinions or perspectives. The study results show that students experience problems in taking tests/quizzes using SEB due to the instability of the internet signal. One of the reasons is that students also have to join the exam zoom simultaneously. Meanwhile, the Newton's Law material provided is very contextual and rich in sample questions, including providing student feedback which is considered good.

Development countries uses E-Learning as a form of education to cooperate with the challenges of globalization, the birth of the internet and so on. Moodle is a Learning Management System (LMS) which is a free open source platform designed to assist educators in creating online courses with opportunities for dynamic interaction. In this paper the meaning of Moodle was carried out, then the web form (Google Form) is created as a Database to store the answers, gathering feedback and as statistical software to provide analytics of the effect of using Moodle by the lecturer’s opinion or perspective in College of Engineering, University of Duhok (UoD), Kurdistan Region of Iraq; their questioners are completed on the internet. The study results point out that 72.55% of lecturers were interested in services provided by Moodle@uod, mostly utilized as a depot for getting the course’s materials but the interactive learning tools are not effectively invested. Where 29.73% used the application in making quizzes; 32.43% for communicating with their students this is because of the instability of internet services. For that, the authors suggest satisfying academic staff desires in taking training courses to be more familiar with using Moodle Platform.

The COVID-19 pandemic had a great impact on almost all aspects of life, especially in the field of education and training. In response to this challenge, most schools and universities worldwide made online courses available their students according to the policy ‘School is Out, but Class is On’. In this study, we used mixed methods approach, frequency analysis, correlationand multivariate regression techniques to explore the factors that affect lecturers satisfaction when teaching online during the period of COVID-19 pandamic at a big university in Vietnam. The ‘study results showed that the main factors affecting faculty satisfaction were their interaction with students, their skills to operate available applications, support from institutions and students’online behaviour. The results of qualitative data analysis (open-ended questions and interviews) reinforced the above findings and indicated the need to deploy blended-learning, which combines online and face-to-face modes to ensure quality of teaching.

A mechanism of the therapeutic effect of multipotent mesenchymal stem cells (MMSC) on irradiated body has recently arisen much interest of researchers. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) secreted by almost all cells of a living organism were suggested to actively contribute to the paracrine mechanism of this effect. The aim of the study was isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles produced by various types of stem cells. Materials and methods. Suspensions of EVs were isolated from culture media of passage 2 human bone marrow-derived MMSC and passage 4 rat adipose tissue-derived MMSC using a modified protocol of differential centrifugation and then studied using transmission electron microscopy and nanoparticle tracking analysis. Results. The study showed the presence of microparticles with a size of >100 nm in the examined samples. However, the percent content of particles with different sizes in the suspension was different in two analyzed types of cell culture. Conclusion. The study results might reflect a specificity of secretion determined by the cell type.

The COVID-19 pandemic literally stopped most human movement and activities as it initially spread, which included dental practices and dental education. This defined the need for significative changes in teaching and learning with the use of “e-learning” methods, also for traineeships. This study was designed to determine the undergraduate student perception of these new methods as part of their education. This involved 353 students attending the Dental School of the G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti–Pescara, from the first to the sixth years. A questionnaire in Italian and was set-up using “Google Forms” and sent by email to the students. The questionnaire was divided into three parts: the first part included questions for general information, including age, sex and year of course; the second part had multiple choice questions related to their evaluation of the e-learning teaching, using a scale of opinion in the replies to each question (e.g., “scarce”, “fair”, “satisfying”, “very good” and “excellent”); and the third part included two open questions to indicate the strengths and limitations of these new teaching and learning approaches. The categorical variables in the first and second parts of the questionnaire were evaluated using Chi squared tests, setting significance at p < 0.05, while the comments were evaluated qualitatively. The student feedback showed significant appreciation (p < 0.05) of the new methods and the efforts that the lecturers put in to provide lectures of as high a quality as possible. However, a lack of practical training was significantly perceived as an important problem in the structure of their new curriculum (p < 0.05). COVID-19 has been an epic tragedy that has hit the human population not only in terms of health and healthcare, but also quality of life. This includes the quality of dental education within universities. However, the pandemic can be seen to also represent motivation to invest in the necessary technological innovation to deliver the best possible education to our future dentists.

Physics learning in universities utilized the Moodle-based e-learning media as an online learning platform. However, the effectiveness of remediating misconception using online media has not been widely researched. Therefore, this study was set to determine the level of misconception percentage reduction through the use of narrative feedback, the e-learning modules, and realistic video. The study was a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method involving 281 students who were taking basic physics courses in the Department of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Education. The data collection used a three-tier diagnostic test based on e-learning at the beginning of the activity and after the treatment (posttest). The results of the data analysis with descriptive statistics show that the most significant treatment in reducing misconception percentage on the topic of free-fall motion was in the following order: narrative feedback, e-learning modules and realistic video. The misconception percentage reduction in the sub-concept of accelerated free- fall was effective for all types of the treatments.
