In this paper, we have described and illustrated three new species of Byrsopteryx from Peru: Byrsopteryx inti, sp. nov. Byrsopteryx mamaocllo sp. nov., and Byrsopteryx mancocapac sp. nov. Larvae of the latter two were also associated to male specimens based on comparison of a fragment of COI gene and pharate male identification. Byrsopteryx inti sp. nov. and Byrsopteryx mamaocllo sp. nov. share a unique feature: a semi-dome process formed by a thickened area on male forewings. The three species can be easily identified by wing coloration and male genitalia. Furthermore, Byrsopteryx inti sp. nov. can be recognized by its sternum VIII with a median digitate process on posterior margin, slightly capitate; and by long dorsolateral processes from segment VIII, which cross each other apically in dorsal view. Byrsopteryx mamaocllo sp. nov. can be distinguished by sternum VIII bearing a pair of short, posterior, spinelike processes, which are curved inwards and bordered by a rounded, membranous structure, and by a pair of short, heavily sclerotized, dorsolateral processes. Byrsopteryx mancocapac sp. nov. can be distinguished by strong spine-like processes arising dorsally from subgenital plate and by sternum VIII with posterior margin divided into two plate-like lobes. Larvae of B. mamaocllo sp. nov. and B. mancocapac sp. nov. are similar to other Byrsopteryx larvae known. They can be distinguished from each other by the shape of the operculum formed by terga VIII and IX, and number of setae on the second abdominal pleurite. Maximum likelihood analyses of 20 COI sequences, including nine Byrsopteryx species, placed B. inti sp. nov. and B. mamaocllo sp. nov. as sister species and related to a clade including B. gomezi, B. tapanti, and B. esparta, while B. mancocapac sp. nov. was found as sister to B. abrelata. Despite the close phylogenetic relationship found between B. inti sp. nov. and B. mamaocllo sp. nov., they are separated by 14.9% minimum K2P divergence of COI. The highest intraspecific distance observed was 1.4% for B. mancocapac sp. nov. individuals. Although the Peruvian caddisfly fauna has around 320 known species and almost a third of them are microcaddisflies, in this paper we present the first descriptions of Byrsopteryx species for the country.

The prolongation of survival and the improvement of quality of life in patients with hemophilia A and B are only possible if hemostatic disorders caused by coagulation factor VIII and IX deficiency are managed effectively. Recombinant coagulation factors are playing an ever-increasing role in the preventive care of affected patients. The development, production and use of domestic recombinant coagulation factors opened up new treatment opportunities and improved access to preventive care for hemophilia patients. The results of clinical studies on the efficacy and safety of the Russian recombinant factors showed that they had similar efficacy and safety compared to the plasma derived clotting factors.

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is one of the primary 21st-century skills that Indonesian schools have not optimally developed. The present study was aimed at 1) presenting the profile of students’ HOTS in Malang and 2) investigating the influence of grades on students’ HOTS. This quantitative study involved 559 students from 18 schools in Malang municipality as the participants. The data were collected using ten essay questions as the instrument and analyzed through descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA as the data analysis techniques chosen in this study. This study revealed that first, the students of Junior High School in grades VII, VIII, and IX at Malang acquired a low level of HOTS. Second, the students of Senior High School performed an excellent level of HOTS. Third, there was a significant influence of the student's grades to the level of the students’ HOTS in which senior high school students accomplished a higher level HOTS than junior high school students. Therefore, to improve this essential skill, the students in Indonesian schools should be given as much exposure to teaching and assessment based on HOTS.

The values of factor VIII (FVIII) and factor IX (FIX) were evaluated among some primary school children in Owerri zone Imo State. The aim was to assess deficiency state or reduction in activity among these children. A total of two hundred and ten (210) venous blood samples were collected from primary school pupils whose parents consented to, and whose answers to the distributed questionnaires suggested symptoms of haemophilia. The samples were collected from pupils between the ages of five and thirteen years, and from different primary schools to represent different areas of Owerri (Works Layout Area, Nekede Area, Trans Egbu Area, and Akwukuma Area). Samples were preserved using trisodium citrate anticoagulant and transported to the haematology unit of the Federal Medical Centre Owerri within 3 hours for analysis which was done using Rayto semi auto coagulation analyzer RT 2204C with its normal ranges for factor VIII and IX activities as (50% - 200% and 70% - 200%) respectively. Out of the 210 samples collected, 16(7.6%) have <50% of factor VIII activity and 14(6.7%) have <70% of factor IX activity. Akwakuma area produced highest occurrence of factor VIII deficiency (14.8%, 8 pupils) while Works Layout and Trans Egbu Areas produced the least incidence (3.8%, 2 pupils) each. Factor IX deficiency was most prevalent at Trans Egbu Area 6(11.5%) and least at Works Layout 0(0.0%). Six children between the ages of 5 and 7 years had the highest incidence of FVIII deficiency (23.1%), while eight pupils between the ages of 11-13 years showed the highest incidence of FIX deficiency. Eight Females were found to have the highest incidence of both  FVIII and FIX deficiencies (8.2% for both defects ), while the males presented a lower incidence of the same defects (7.1%, 8 pupils and 5.4%, 6 pupils respectively). The mean levels of FVIII and FIX in all the pupils evaluated are 78.61 and 89.98 respectively while the standard deviation of the results from the mean are 2.584 and 1.473 for factor VIII and IX respectively. These data show that haemophilia A and B exist in Owerri and considering the danger it portends to lives of the citizenry, Government should provide facilities in our hospitals to take care of the affected pupils to ensure a healthy society.

The high prevalence of skabies in Islamic boarding schools is due to the limited knowledge, attitudes and behavior. The prevalence of school age suffering from scabies is 64%. The aimed of study was the effect of health education through video of media on efforts to prevent skabies at the Islamic Boarding School IMMIM Putra Makassar. The type of research used is pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Samples was 50 respondents using purposive sampling technique consisting of class VIII and IX. Collecting data used was questionnaire. The data were analyzed with wilcoxon test. The results of the pre-test knowledge category 54,0%, low 46,0%, post-test knowledge was high 98.0% and low 2,00%. Pre-test attitude positive 90,0%, negative 10,0%, while the post-test positive attitude 96,0% and negative 4,00%. The pre-test for the category behavior is quite 100,0% while the post-test for the category action is quite 100,0%. The results of p value <0.05 means that there is an effect of health counseling using video media on knowledge (0.000) attitudes (0.000) and behavior (0.002) to santri in an effort to prevent skabies disease. It is hoped that the management of the pesantren can prohibit students from exchanging clothes and beds so that the transmission of skabies does not occur, conduct mass treatment to break the chain of disease, for santri to improve environmental of quality, clean and healthy living on behavior.

Hemophilia is a genetic hemorrhagic condition marked by uncontrollable and persistent bleeding following surgery or trauma. Hemophilia A is the more common of the two, affecting 1:5000 newborn males in the population. Injecting factor replacement treatments are the most common therapy for hemophilia. The drugs that replaced the clotting factors VIII and IX were developed in the 1950s and 60s. They have been used to treat blood transfusions since the mid-1970s. The development of a humanized bispecific antibody (emicizumab; ACE910) that binds to FIX and FX and replicates the action of FVIII was a key breakthrough in hemophilia therapy. The cost of maintaining this antibody is high, and the feasibility of developing antibodies against the reactant has yet to be determined. Gene therapy is a promising alternative.
