The effectiveness of the learning process is part of good classroom management. But be aware that every individual in the class (student) does not have a homogeneous but heterogeneous character. novice teachers, strategies, large class.This research reports which aimed to analyze strategies of novice teachers used in the large classroom management. This work is a comprehensive case study covering all teachers who play an important role in their classroom management. The case study on this research focused on Junior High School novice teachers in Yogyakarta. The researcher choose this school because it has large class that can support the researcher in collecting the data. The subject of this research consists of five novice teachers. The data was gathered through observation and interview. This study indicated the perspectives of the novice teachers in large classroom.The result showed that the teachers mostly divide or organize the students by grouping them, monitoring them to check students’ work and to keep the class calm, give them positive punishment to students who misbehave, and using some teaching method to make students active during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract Purpose: This study aimed to determine the extent of the influence of gadgets on elementary school children, especially in the aspect of personality, as well as how parents' efforts in providing supervision and direction for their children. Research methodology: This type of research is qualitative with the case study method. The instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, for data analysis, researchers used descriptive-analytic techniques. The data analyzed is then tested for validity using the credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. Results: The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of gadgets on children's personalities, including temperament, indifference, a fast-developing mindset without appropriate stages, love to share, and be creative. Limitations: This research is far from perfect; the author realizes that there are limitations in the research process, one of which is that the subject and object of research are only taken within the scope of the family. Contribution: This research is expected to be useful in the world of education, especially educators and the family environment as a reference in implementing digital parenting for their children. <p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This article aims to look at the role of family in the moral development of children in the former localization environment. This research was conducted in January at Ngujang 2 Elementary School located in Kedungwaru Sub-district, Tulungagung regency with the subject of 2 students 'with different family conditions. This research use a qualitative research method of case study type. Data collection starts from observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the role of the family environment in child moral development is crucial. Each child's family will get science that is not found in formal educational. The family environment plays a role in organizing a child's life. Organizing your children will grow in everyday life. The family environment becomes a foundation in every child development. Good and bad in child development is also determined the role gained from the family.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran keluarga dalam perkembangan moral anak di lingkungan eks lokalisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari di SDN 2 Ngujang yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Kedungwaru, Kabupaten Tulungagung dengan subjek penelitian dua orang siswa dengan keadaan kondisi keluarga yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dimulai dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukan bahwa peran lingkungan keluarga dalam perkembangan moral anak sangat penting. Keluarga setiap anak akan mendapatkan ilmu yang tidak ditemukan di lingkungan pendidikan formal. Lingkungan keluarga berperan dalam mengatur kehidupan seorang anak. Mengatur bagimana anak akan tumbuh berkembang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Lingkungan keluarga menjadi pondasi dalam setiap perkembangan anak. Baik buruk perkembangan anak juga ditentukan peran yang didapat dari keluarga.

Historical approach is one way of supporting the learning of concepts and phenomena of chemistry, and nature of chemistry. In this article, project works dealing with the topics to chemistry (organic reactions and synthesis, acid and alkali oxides, mass and mole, Le Châtelier’s principle, atom models, electrochemistry, gas laws, and periodic table of elements) by the students of Central Topics of Chemistry Teaching II course are being presented. First, based on research literature, a summary on how history is used to teach each topic is presented in English or in Finnish, with the results of a case study regarding each topic. In most of the presented studies, it was noted that using historical approach increased the interest towards the subject. All designed materials and lesson plans can be found online: www.luma.fi/materiaalit. They can easily be implemented in chemistry teaching on different levels of education.

Purpose This paper aims to suggest that classroom instructors should reflect and revise their pedagogy to lead a classroom designed to produce future information professionals who will be prepared to serve their communities in a radical way. Design/methodology/approach The paper reviews the literature related to radical and humanizing pedagogies and then features an auto ethnographic case study which details how the author implemented some of the strategies. Findings Formal study of pedagogy can improve the library and information science (LIS) teaching and learning process. Practical implications Examining pedagogy in a formal way yields concrete suggestions for improving classroom management and content delivery. Social implications Using a radical pedagogy can improve relationships between teachers and learners, and learners will be able to model the classroom strategies in their own professional practice. Originality/value The study builds upon current examples of radical practice in the field and examines how such practices can be instilled even earlier in LIS graduate classrooms.

The objectives of this article are to set out the process and key areas for Siswati Subject Policy (SSP). Siswati is one of the languages in the Republic of South Africa that is granted the official status in terms of Section 6 of the Constitution. It is learned, taught and spoken at various provinces. The subject policy focuses on the development and management of the language from the theoretical understanding of its concepts to their practical stance. The policy is also expected to reinforce the government’s responsibilities of establishing the language infrastructures, providing equitable access to it and, enhancing language participation. The language subject policy covers all aspects of micro and macro linguistics, literature and onomastics. It covers teaching and learning, research, administration and community engagement. It is, however, more specific to focus on language in society and society in language, approaches and analytic strategies of the language as well as social interaction.

Total management of overcrowded classrooms have across-the-board effects for English as a Second Language teaching and learning environments as in any subject. Greater attainment and achievements in schools depend on the choices made with regard to teacher-learner ratios that consider of classroom management. Recruitment of learners and teachers should ensure that classrooms are enabled to meet the demands of professional teaching challenges, amongst other, inidvidualised teaching and learning. The aim of the research was to explore the challenges and related matters in managing English as a Second Language overcrowded classrooms. A qualitative approach, steered by a case study design, purposively guided the study. It was deemed fit in order to understand the phenomena with deeper understanding of beliefs and situated lived experiences. Semi-structured interviews and nonparticipant observations were used as methods to generate data for analysis. The research exposed that copious problems were experienced by teachers and leaners who were subjected to overcrowded classrooms. Amongst many, noise and unruly behaviour, poor time management and teaching approaches result in such classes. Guiding principles regarding sound teacher-learner ratios should be put in place by policymakers and schools in order to support both teachers and learners for the success of teaching and learning.

Promoting the values of peace and tolerance within an international climate of turbulence and instability is an essential responsibility for governments and schools. Threats to tolerance include the circumstances of societal challenges, instabilities in the region, and the increasing risks of social media. Ways to nurture and instill tolerance through the subject of Islamic education in UAE high schools is a key concern. Through a case study of the written, taught, and learnt curriculum of UAE Islamic education, this paper investigates the teaching and learning of tolerance in UAE high schools. It provides recommendations on how Islamic education classes, built on an awareness of the Islamic value of tolerance as a foundational component, can be utilized for shaping educational experiences that promote open mindedness. Curriculum-aligned Islamic education resources need to be further developed and teacher professional learning programs should be launched to empower teachers to achieve this intended aim.
