Tegal Island has the potential and diversity of marine tourism which is an attraction for tourists. However, information is not yet available that can help tourists in knowing the objects and tourist areas contained in Tegal Island. This research presents tourism information in Tegal Island in the form of a Geographic Information System map. The mapping method is done using Quantum GIS software with the help of the QuickMapServices (QMS) plugin to display Google Earth imagery and the qgis2web plugin to convert QGIS files (.qgz) into web maps (WebGIS) and the presence of tourist index input. The mapping results obtained digitization of each tourist object and facility on Tegal Island in the form of shapefiles (.shp) as well as information displayed on the attribute table layer. WebGIS is used as a media for GIS map renderers that is easily accessed and adjusted according to the JavaScript Leaflet library (open source). Map of Geographic Information Systems makes it easy for people to convey and search for tourist information on Tegal Island.

The purpose of this research is to know the geographic information system of tourism that is in Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kebumen Regency and develop it Research methods used by doing observationin Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kebumen Regency, then proceed with the system development method. the research method used is by the method of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). By using the Software Notepad ++ to build tourism Geographical Information System web-based. PHP as a programming language, MySQL as the database server and the design of the map using the Google Maps API. The object-oriented approach that is used UML (Unified Modeling Language) can explain the flow of the existing system. Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kebumen Regency has been doing promotion through mass media such as newspapers and brochures in the delivery of information. But the way is not enough to inform tourism and places of attractions. It is therefore through the design of Geographical information system of tourism was able to resolve the issue. After the results of the study of geographic information systems is expected delivery of tourism information becomes more widespread, and the tourists could be quick and precise in finding information a tourist want to visit.

Abstrak : Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor unggulan dalam pembangunan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan nasional, penyerapan tenaga kerja, dan penyumbang devisa negara. Penilitian ini betujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi geografis objek wisata bahari pada Dinas Pariwisata Kota Ternate. Metode Analisis dan Pengembangan Sistem menggunakan metode terstruktur, serta Pengembangannya menggunakan metode sekuensial linier (Waterfall). Sistem ini dirancang dengan Alat bantu  Flowchart, DFD, ERD dan dibuat menggunakan bahasa Pemrograman HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery, Javascript serta database MySQL. Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis Wisata dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi ini, memudahkan Dinas Pariwisata Kota Ternate menyediakan informasi kepada wisatawan, sehingga para wisatawan dapat mengakses informasi objek wisata bahari dimana saja.Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, Geografis, Wisata Bahari.Abstract : Tourism is one of the leading sectors in the development of national income, to increase absorption of labor and the country's foreign exchange contributor. AbstractGoogle Earth imagery is used here in conjunction with a Geographic Information System to identify transverse drainages and recreate palaeodrainage in an internally draining region in Iran. At least 35 water gaps and 34 wind gaps are shown to exist in the region, as well as evidence for an integrated palaeodrainage that originated north of the internally draining region and emptied into the Mand watershed to the west. The topographic characteristics of the transverse drainages suggest a strong control by local topography, and support formation of the internally draining region by basin filling and overflow. Both climatic and tectonic factors may have controlled the loss of external connectivity.

QGIS is a free and open-source software that allows viewing, editing, and analyzing georeferenced data. It is a Geographic Information System (GIS) software composed by tools that allow to manipulate geographic information and consequently to create maps which help to get a better understanding and organization of geospatial data. Unfortunately, maps created directly in the GIS desktop software are not automatically transferred to a website. This research aimed to compare publishing capabilities in different QGIS plugins to create Web Maps. This study analyzes four QGIS plugins (QGIS2Web, QGIS Cloud, GIS Cloud Publisher and Mappia Publisher), performing a comparison between them, considering their advantages and disadvantages, the free and subscription plans, the tools offered by each plugin and other generic aspects. The four plugins were tested in a specific case study to automatically obtain different Web Maps. This study could help users to choose the most adequate tools to publish Web Maps under QGIS software.

The development of information technology that exists today is very rapid, making us to keep abreast of the development of these technologies. Technology is able to present all information quickly and instantly, leaving old patterns such as gathering information manually which may require more time. Information technology today is very effective and efficient as indicated by the speed of processing time and the accuracy of the information needed. One of them is the information about tourist attractions, which is currently increasingly in demand by people who want to vacation with friends, relatives and family. However, the lack of information about the location of attractions that want to be visited, especially for potential tourists from outside the area of Semarang, make the author interested in design and creating the Semarang City Geographic Tourism Information System Based on Android Mobile to facilitate the search for the nearest route to the desired tourist attraction. The method used is using the Geographic Information System based on the data from the Semarang City Culture and Tourism Service. The Semarang City Tourism Geographic Information System Based on Android Mobile is a solution to problem solving as a medium to obtain information and tourism locations in the Semarang, which is applied in Android Smartphone devices, especially for the people from outside the city of Semarang.

Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a vulnerabilidade socioambiental enfrentada pelas parcelas de baixa renda da população dos Bairros de Vitória-ES e demonstrar a relevância dos Sistemas de Informações Geográficas (SIG) como ferramenta de mensuração e representação destas situações. Para isso, será demonstrada a viabilidade da adoção de geotecnologias livres para a abordagem deste tema, por meio da análise de variáveis socioeconômicas, infraestruturais e do meio físico. O estudo fundamenta-se em dados produzidos pelo IBGE, pela Prefeitura Municipal de Vitória e pela Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Espírito Santo, relativos ao período de 2010 a 2015. A análise e redução de variáveis são feitas por meio de critérios objetivos utilizando a Análise de Componentes Principais (ACP). As variáveis analisadas mostraram alta correlação e os resultados foram utilizados para a construção do Índice de Vulnerabilidade Socioambiental. A partir dos valores do índice, os bairros foram espacializados por meio de um software livre de SIG, o que permitiu formar agrupamentos de unidades de análise que apresentam semelhanças quanto à vulnerabilidade socioambiental, sendo possível identificar uma notável disparidade entre os bairros de Vitória.Palavras-chave: Vulnerabilidade Socioambiental; Sistema de Informação Geográfica; Geotecnologias Livres.AbstractThis paper aims to analyze the Socio-Environmental Vulnerability faced by the low income portion of the population from Vitoria – ES and show the importance of the Geographic Information System (GIS) as a tool of measurement and representation of these situations. Thus, the feasibility of adopting free geotechnologies will be demonstrated in order to approach this theme by means of analyzing the socioeconomic, infrastructural as well as physical environment variables. The study is based on data produced by IBGE, City Hall of Vitoria and by Secretary of Public Security of Espirito Santo, related to the period from 2010 to 2015. The analysis and reduction of variables are made by means of objective criteria utilizing the Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The variables analyzed showed high correlation and the results were utilized for the construction of Socio-Environmental Vulnerability Index. From the values of the index, the neighborhoods were spatialized through a free GIS software which allowed forming groups of neighborhoods that present similarities regarding the Socio-Environmental Vulnerability. It was possible to identify a notable disparity among the neighborhoods of Vitoria.Keywords: Socio-environmental Vulnerability; Geographic Information System (GIS); Free Geotechnologies.

The convergence of public participatory mapping and cybertography is having far-reaching impacts through a variety of creative applications. This paper presents three different types of Internet mapping applications — Google Earth and Google Map API, Common Census, and a design exercise in Second Life — with a public participatory geographic information system (PPGIS) and cybercartography perspective. Each of these examples empowers users in a different way. The spatial applications and the supporting information that is being made available through Internet map applications represent a unique set of examples of the democratization possible through Internet applications.
