The paper is made up of five parts. The introduction part describes the background and fundamental structure of the paper. The second part is a review of the literature, which summarizes the views of previous studies and then adds some of our own viewpoints at the same time. The body part can be divided into two sections: analysis on the causes and forms of communicative obstacles; analysis on coping strategies of communicative disorders. The analysis of causes includes specific causes and specific problems. The coping strategies include how to make flexible use of interpreting strategies, how to make effective use of interpreting methods and how to enhance interpreters' awareness and competence of intercultural communication. The last part is the conclusion. Besides drawing on the views of previous studies, we also put forward our own points of view: one is putting the knowledge into practice can enhance the professionalism and ability of interpreters, the other is that domestication and foreignization are translation strategies, while literal and free interpretation are concrete methods of translation.

The article focuses on the theoretical and empirical analysis of the concepts of coping strategy, locus of control (internality-externality), and achievement motivation. Different points of view on coping strategies are considered, as well as achievement motivation and internality as professionally important characteristics of managers of the real sector of the economy. The structure of the interrelation between socio-psychological characteristics and coping strategies of managers is revealed. The correlations between coping strategies, locus of control, and achievement motivation have been studied. The results of the study of the relationship between coping strategies, locus of control and achievement motivation among managers made it possible to draw the following conclusions. Firstly, the higher the level of motivation for success, the greater the likelihood is that a person will use such coping strategies as planning of a solution to the problem, positive reassessment and problem-oriented coping. Secondly, the higher the level of motivation for avoiding failures, the more likely it is that a person, in the process of coping, will resort to such strategies as distancing, escape-avoidance, emotionally-oriented coping. Thirdly, the higher the level of the internal locus of control, the greater the probability of using such coping strategies as problem-solving planning, positive reassessment, and problem-oriented coping. Finally, the higher the level of the external locus of control, the greater the likelihood is of using such coping strategies as distancing, flight-avoidance, emotionally-oriented coping.

The aims of this study were to identify the problems in the elderly, prove the relationship between social-support and coping strategies in the elderly, describe the social support received by the elderly, and describe the patterns of coping strategies in the elderly related with social support received by the elderly. The primary data source was a quantitative survey with 30 elderly in the Posyandu Lansia Ketonggo Wonokromo Pleret Bantul. Data were collected by questioner and analyzed by regression and descriptive analysis. Results indicated that the problems experienced by the majority of elderly in this study were a disorder of the muscles, instability of the body, decreasing in the sensory function, cataracts or nearsightedness, tiredness, lack of finance, difficulties in managing money, as well as using the telephone. A significant positive correlation between social support and problem focused coping and a significant negative correlation between social support and emotion focused coping were confirmed. Social support was high enough on the subject, particularly the family support and support from significant other. The pattern of use of problem focused coping can be predicted from general social support and particularly from the support of friends, while the use of emotion focused coping can be predicted from social support in general and particularly from significant other support

Participation in elite-sport and education is stressful and can result in sacrificed educational attainment. A dearth of research, however, has explored the specific stressors encountered by student athletes and coping strategies used, resulting in limited knowledge of how to best support student athletes. Interviews with 20 Australian university student athletes were conducted and data were analyzed via thematic analysis. Interviewees reported encountering numerous stressors, especially relating to schedule clashes, fatigue, financial pressure, and inflexibility of coaches. Athletes identified few coping strategies but reported that support from parents and coaches was paramount. Athletes would benefit from upskilling in several areas such as effective use of time, self-care, time management, enhanced self-efficacy, and specific strategies for coping with stress. Coaches have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in facilitating successful integration of sport and education.

The virus has weakened the immune system of the body so much that they develop a number of different illnesses such as tuberculosis, pneumonia, persistent diarrhea and fever and skin infections. Methods: A quantitative research approach, descriptive survey research design was undertaken to assess the problems and coping strategies among HIV/AIDS patients. Purposive sampling technique was adopted to select the 100 HIV/AIDS patients. The study was conducted was at ART centre, Capital hospital Bhubaneswar. Data was collected through questionnaire by interviewing method. Results: The physical problems 76 (76%) had moderate problems and mean score (5.41±1.28), were psychological problems 60 (60%) had moderate problems and mean score (4.20±1.17) and financial problems 57 (57%) had moderate problems mean score (2.97±0.95). The coping strategies mean score (67.27±4.49). Chi square test was performed to find out the association between problems and coping strategies. Conclusions: The study was concluded with recommendation for descriptive study on large sample.

Abstract. This research developed a new scale to evaluate Self-Efficacy in Multiple Sclerosis (SEMS). The aim of this study was to investigate dimensionality, item functioning, measurement invariance, and concurrent validity of the SEMS scale. Data were collected from 203 multiple sclerosis (MS) patients (mean age, 39.5 years; 66% women; 95% having a relapsing remitting form of MS). Fifteen items of the SEMS scale were submitted to patients along with measures of psychological well-being, sense of coherence, depression, and coping strategies. Data underwent Rasch analysis and correlation analysis. Rasch analysis indicates the SEMS as a multidimensional construct characterized by two correlated dimensions: goal setting and symptom management, with satisfactory reliability coefficients. Overall, the 15 items reported acceptable fit statistics; the scale demonstrated measurement invariance (with respect to gender and disease duration) and good concurrent validity (positive correlations with psychological well-being, sense of coherence, and coping strategies and negative correlations with depression). Preliminary evidence suggests that SEMS is a psychometrically sound measure to evaluate perceived self-efficacy of MS patients with moderate disability, and it would be a valuable instrument for both research and clinical applications.
