Methods of problem solving is problem-based learning. Can be referred to a learning approach that uses problem as context for the student to learn how to think critically to solve problems, and to acquire the knowledge and the concept of the material being taught. This study aims to apply learning with problem solving method on subjects Indonesian and enhance students' skills in understanding and mastering the material being taught. This study used a qualitative approach that is both a description of the meaning of the subject of a study involving 34 students in one class. Data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that an increase in students in solving problems until the appropriate retrieval solutions.

This study aims to describe students' mathematical problem-solving abilities based on mathematical dispositions at Riyadlul Mukhlishien Middle School. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects used were 21 students of class VIII A. The data sources of this research are in the form of questionnaires, test descriptions and interviews. The results of the questionnaire were used to classify the level of students' mathematical dispositions. After that, two students from each category of mathematical disposition were selected to be the subject of tests and interviews. The results of tests and interviews of mathematical problem-solving abilities were analyzed based on the mathematical disposition of the students. The results of this study indicate that the mathematical disposition of SMP Riyadlul Mukhlishien students is divided into three categories, high, medium and low. Students who have mathematical problem-solving abilities in the high mathematical disposition category are able to meet the indicators of mathematical problem-solving abilities well and write them down completely. Students who have mathematical problem-solving abilities in the moderate mathematical disposition category are able to meet the indicators of mathematical problem-solving abilities but do not write them down completely. Students who have mathematical problem-solving abilities in the low mathematical disposition category are less able to meet the indicators of mathematical problem-solving abilities because they do not write them down completely and still experience errors in calculations

Palavras-chave: Educação em Saúde; Problem Based Learning; Anatomia. PBL (Problem Based Learning) approach in a nursing technical course: autobiographical elements of teaching practice in human anatomyAbstract: In this research, we anchor our research in analyzing the didactic elements of the teaching action of a nurse teacher of professional education through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach in teaching human anatomy. This is a qualitative approach study, with autobiographical nature, in which we appropriate Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA) as an analysis technique for the argumentation of the records extracted from a teaching diary; empirical material from which emerged results related to (i) elements of reflective teaching practice, (ii) apprehension of students' technical-scientific knowledge, and (iii) potentialities of the use of PBL in health pedagogical mediation. It is inferred that the process can provide the ability to integrate student reality into professional education, as well as delineate contributions to health education, in order to strengthen the construction of scientific knowledge to professionals in an integral and humanized way. Keywords: Health Education; Problem Based Learning; Anatomy.

The goal of the present research is to contribute to spreading in Italian schools greater awareness of the dangers derived from natural phenomena, such as landslides, floods or earthquakes. The essential steps are: developing the understanding of the territory’s inevitable evolution (derived from natural geological phenomena that normally concern it); raising the awareness of dynamics regarding the territory in which one lives (through geological and historical analysis of the context); and finally recognizing the speed and frequency with which different natural phenomena occur, and the surface they might affect. Thereafter, the research’s next step is gaining the awareness that these phenomena may become actual risks and cause damage, in relation to the territory’s use and vulnerability. Finally, its last step is realizing that knowledge on such dynamics is needed for risk-prevention and reduction in vulnerable contexts. In fact, it seems that, until these natural manifestations remain far from students’ everyday lives, they are not adequately acknowledged. Moreover, since it has been proven that the usual transmissive approach to the subject is not effective, a problem-based learning approach was experimented. The path was defined through disciplinary objectives and through developing and monitoring specific skills. During experimentation, investigative and practical activities showed an interesting growth of the involved students’ skills and competences. The research’s double aim of raising greater awareness of environmental dynamics and risks, and of developing greater technical skills and sense of citizenship among students (also concerning the observation and recognition of relationships) seems to have been achieved.

The objectives of this study were (1) to apply the spanning-tree material learning design in the Research Operations course through a problem-based learning approach using the help of the google maps application, (2) to find out the problem-solving abilities of students of Sanata Dharma University in class A Research Operations towards understanding the concept of spanning. tree. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection methods are obtained through documentation and giving tests through Student Worksheets (LKM). The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) the learning design that was designed using a problem-based learning approach with the help of the google maps application was good and could be used to help students understand the spanning-tree concept (2) students problem-solving abilities measured using the NCTM indicator showed that 16 students can meet all indicators, 10 students only meet indicator 1, 2, and 4 but do not meet indicator 3.
